rooms not luxury at all, maybe you'll see a bug or lizard, don't be a cry baby. I've stayed at multiple hotels on the island, MAMA CHALET is my favorite.

We were here for 4 days and every single dinner we came to mamas.
It feels like coming home after a long day at the beach. The food is so delicious and very cheap for what you get. Our secret: try the lemon iced tea, thats like the best drink you can get here, its truly perfect!

My family and i was well taken care of by the owner and family. I made a booking via whats app couple months ahead.

We arrived at kuala besut jetty and was informed to go to the mamas chalet office just next to the jetty, got our boat tickets. Had a sit and in a while was called to board the boat.

The owner was really kind, he replied message consistently and even accommodated boat transfer to our arrival time as we were driving from Penang.

When we arrived our seaview chalet was ready. To us it was clean enough to feel comfortable.

The highlight of our 4 days 3 nights was the food served to us. I picked the full board package. It was 5 of us. We truly enjoyed the food. Fresh fish, Barbecue chicken and prawns. Drinks was made different everyday. Since my dad doesn’t eat spicy, the owner was so kind to make food to my dads taste.

He also accommodated our food timing based on out activities on the island.

My family and I really truly enjoyed our stay here. Everyone at the restaurant was so welcoming and super kind, courteous. I was so touched the way they cared for us.

i've been here several times, and it's definitely one of the most laid back, easy going and genuine malaysian island experiences you can book. aziz and his family are welcoming hosts and keep this place, which they take care of since decades, in great shape. the restaurant served great breakfasts and the turle bay dive platform right next to it made every week i spent here a marvellous experience. rooms are basic but cozy at night. there is a little shop here, too, selling basic convenience stuff and beach souvenirs.

Very nice staf, nice place and awesome view. I'm arrived with a hot weather, then after that suddenly change to cool and rainy..thanks to Allah swt. Free wifi..

Lovely chalets some with beach fronting some garden fronting. Well kept.
Diving centre is just next door.
Plenty of restaurants along the Beach front n a few dive centres to choose from within walking distance.
U could aso walk to another adjacent beach for snorkeling.

Not the cheapest, but very affordable and comfortable place to stay in. They've made many improvements over the years, adding more amenities to the room. The chalet also provides snorkeling packages.

Big room, comfortable, sweet for family for family room, seaview, aircon n fan...Siitablè foŕ 4-6pax....price are Reasonable...

Whereas, the small room ìs only occupied with wall fan n does not have a nice view...

Didn't stay here but came here for lunch and dinner during my Perhentian visit. They have the best beef fried rice in the island.

Cozy, Seaview and very friendly employees with very reasonable restaurant. Highly recommended for those looking for economical package.

I love the place. Keluar2 terus pantai. Boleh berzikir dan zahirkan rasa syukur sambil mendengar ombak membedal pantai. Ada cafe dekat dengan chalet tersebut, tengahari makan nasi goreng mama, wife makan bihun tomyam(suka nau makan bihun). Malam tapau pizza pula dari mama's cafe, makan di chalet sambil menonton anwar the untold, dia walanon teruks!! Overalll best, network coverage pun okay pada yg pakai umobile. Aircond sejuk, ada water heater. Dekat situ pun boleh kayak. Kalau nak gi perhentian besar, boleh roger bot taxi kat situ. Tapi nak drive balik johor tu penat juga. Kalau boleh sediakan bot dari johor ke pulau perhentian. Senang sikit. Keep it up!!

Nous avons séjourné à Mama chalet pendant 5 jours. Nous avons pris un chalet à 2 côté jardin avec climatisation et sans eau chaude. Le chalet était propre et le climatiseur fonctionnait bien. Pas d' odeurs d'humidité. Le rapport qualité prix est très bien. J'espère que nous aurons l'occasion d'y retourner. Je recommande

Nous séjournions au Perhentian Island Resort pendant 3 jours et avons pris presque tous nos déjeuners et dîners au Mama’s Chalet.
Les plats à la carte étaient très bons et surtout très bon marché ! Une assiette de riz cuisiné avec du poulet pour 14RM par exemple
Les jus de fruits frais sont également délicieux ! Le personnel est souriant et agréable en plus de ça.
Je recommande sans hésiter, surtout comparé aux autres restaurants à proximité et notamment ceux des hôtels qui pratiquent des tarifs plus élevés et les plats ne sont pas aussi savoureux.

Mama's Chalet ni betol2 depan pantai, tapi tak sure boleh mandi ke tak sebab tembok agak tinggi, ada sediakan kerusi malas depan chalet, so boleh berjemur santai2, dekat pulau perhentian besar ni tenang je, tak crowded tak bising, jeti ke chalet dlm 80-100 meter camtu, kami bawak luggage sebab kebetulan mak saya baru patah bahu so tak boleh bawak bagpack, layanan yang baik daripada staff, kedai makan pon serve cepat je, makanan sedap, puas hati, nak mkn kene pegi awal ya, pkol 9 dah close order. Mama's Chalet memang sesuai untuk family yang nakkan suasana yg tenang. Air laut mmg jernih dan sgt cantik, utk sesiapa yang dduk Mama's Chalet boleh lah jalan kaki ke Coral Beach boleh snorkeling dan banyak ikan, tapi kene sediakan roti utk bagi ikan makan baru ikan2 tu berkumpul dkt korg, Secara jujurnya, rasa rugi amik pakej dengan snorkeling, sebab depan coral beach tu pon lagi best drpd pegi snorkeling, sebab pegi shark point, shark takde, pegi turtle point, turtle takde. So agak hampa dekat situ. Kelengkapan didalam bilik terlalu basic, mungkin owner boleh tambah baik dengan sediakan iron dan water kettle, usually hotel2 mesti ade sediakan kettle, set cawan dan free beberapa sachet milo dan teh untuk buat minum di bilik. So akhir kata, Pulau Perhentian memang cantik, tak boleh move on. Ade rezeki boleh repeat.

Établissement simple mais chaleureux. On doit se déchausser pour entrer et le personnel est nombreux et efficace. Les plats sont bons, variés et vraiment pas cher. Les pancakes au petit déj sont également à tester. Le service pour laver le linge est tout aussi efficace, 10RM le kilo, 4kg de linge laissé le matin à 10h30, récupéré le jour même à 18h propre et presque sec

Je donne mon avis que pour le restaurant.
j'ai découvert le restaurant de Mama's qui était à coté de mon resort. Sur les 6 jours passés sur Perhentian, les 3 derniers jours, nous avons mangé matin, midi et soir dans le restaurant de mama's. Le meilleur rapport qualité prix de l'ile. Et c'est très bon! on s'est régalé (sauf pour les glaces que j'ai trouvé meilleur dans le restaurant de mon resort)
Vous pouvez aller manger les yeux fermés, gentils, serviables, et plats délicieux

Super très simple mais on y est chez soit notre ami Jimmy est a votre écoute et le riz mama's chalet humm des petits chalets très propres devant la mer très agréable on accède à la plage en passant par les escaliers à 200m de la mais quelle beauté cette eau turquoise on y voit des tortues de mer l eau est magnifique

Meilleur restaurant de ce coté de l'ile est pas cher du tout je vous pour les boissons je vous conseille leur watermelon il est excelent infos : il est possible d'acheter chez eux une carte wifi hotspot parceque dans tout les hotel de l'ile sa capte tres mal voir pas du tout donc tres bonne alternative pour resté connecté
