Samudra Beach Chalet

Towel, soap and shampoo are provided. Room, bedsheet and toilet are clean, only water pressure are slow. Room and beach only 30 meter. Near to the samudera cafe, can order from 8am-2pm, 6pm-10pm. Portion are good enough compare than other cafe. Price is around rm5-30

Pros:
1) It's a budget friendly chalet and their packages are probably one of the cheapest options on the Perhentian Besar side.
2) The food portion served is huge! My wife and I are satisfied in every meal. :)
3) Beds are comfortable enough and the A/C is strong.
4) The amenities provided are basic, but the staff gave their best to be accommodative as possible.

Cons:
1) WiFi is only available in the hotel's restaurant.
2) Shower room does not have heaters.
3) There were alot of insects inside my room.

Suggestions for improvement:
1) Install a WiFi extender / mesh router.
2) Give guests a few choices instead during meals so that food wastage can be reduced.
3) Install a solar powered shower heater.
4) Provide a liquid mosquito repellent or spray for every room.

Great place with comfy chalets and friendly staff. Great but inexpensive food and basic, clean chalets with air conditioning and free drinking water. My first time in a tropical island, very picturesque and the rooms and service is excellent.
The jungle trek path at the back is an added bonus, a bit of nostalgia for my dad. I was very surprised at the beach actually being the stereotypical tropical paradise as I've never been to one.

Beautiful beach. Nice clean landscape. Room ok for the price. Comfortable bed and pillow. Blanket too thin. Aircond worked fine. No closet. Huge shower with hot water. No tv, wifi, kettle or even mineral water bottle provided in the room. Wifi is only available at restaurant area. Food was really good except too little of a portion. If you finish then that's it although the package was with buffet. Restaurant manager wasn't friendly, but that didn't bother us. No facilities. Purely a place to chill. There are however other restaurants nearby but very pricey. Snorkeling was good but not really 5 points. Overall it was a great stay.

Nice accommodation for divers, sea front and well located to all diving sites and several dive shops on the islands.

Stayed here for 3 days 2 nights.
Sea view chalet was fine but aircond and toilet are a bit old.
The new building were better with new facilities and good for those who do not like to stay in wooden place.
The best for me was the services received from Samudra Beach Chalet. Thumbs up for all of them.
Food and beverages price were reasonable with the quality and no regret of having meals here. Tq

I don't know what happened with previous people..but my stay here was awesome for a budget trip.. the aircond works, the room is small but suffice for us to enjoy.. maybe because we are staying in the new area.. and the staff is friendly and nice.. the location overall was superb.. definitely will come here again.. ❤

Loved our stay there. Very comfortable room, we stayed in the 4pax chalet and the bed was huge and room and toilet were clean. Staffs were friendly and amazing. The night was quiet and peaceful since Teluk Dalam is quite away from all the glamourous night life.

Spacious and clean room. Staff extremely friendly. Had to go to the other island for medical reasons and they didn't charge me for the transport, even though the taxi guy had to wait nearly half an hour.

Chalet itself very clean. Room no tv and wifi. Only at kitchen/lobby area but no worries you can enjoy the scenary. 10metre away from the beach.
