De Salone Hair & Nail Saloon

I've got very straight hair and I'm very fussy who cuts it as there is no room for error. Whilst on holiday in Penang I decided to get my haircut as the humidity was not doing my hair any favours. I checked several Google reviews and chose Eddie. I was delighted with my new cut, a conventional bob which is what I wanted. Eddie knows his craft, he speaks very good English, he is easy to chat to and the whole salon experience was very pleasant. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Eddie at De Salone Hair and Nail Saloon.

Amazing cut / balayage + treatment experience at De Salone. They made from my dry, dull hair a masterpiece. You can see Eddie is very experienced, precise and easy to chat with. In addition, the wash with head massage was amazing to!

Eddie and his team is amazing. It has taken me a long time to find someone that can color/cut my hair that makes the mornings effortless!! The service and scalp massages can not be beat! Eddie always accomodates my schedules and the price is very reasonable for the level of personalize service.

Eddie and staff were brilliant. It was a wonderful experience during the whole process of having my hair styled right down to the shampooing of my hair. I have no hesitation in referring his salon to my friends. Look forward to another session at his salon.

From my wife: We highly recommend De Salone. Eddie did a fantastic job highlighting and styling my teenage daughter’s hair. She has very thick, wavy hair which was quite dry. In addition to the highlights, Eddie used a Shisheido salon grade mask which made her hair very soft. Her hair looks incredible and she is super happy.

Having decided at the last minute to get a haircut, I made an appointment at the salon and was fortunate enough that Eddie was on duty. He did a great job to give me the super short pixie bob - no stylist has been able to do this since my previous hairstylist closed her business during COVID. I got a lovely head massage too. Eddie was hilarious and empathetic; give great recommendations on places to eat around Penang and didn’t try to upsell me any services. No icky bits of hair on my neck after the cut too! Great experience, great cut, thank you! Will drop by here for a haircut whenever I’m in Penang.

De Salone has a very nice ambience and environment and the music is soft and so comfortable that you would like to spend hours there enjoying treatment and getting your hair done in a 5-star kind of way!
