What a fun place to be ! We had such a great time exploring the Museum, It's a very interactive Museum where you can try on the a chefs coat, pretend to pick up foods, most of these dishes are giant and they make for amazing photos. We spent so much time here and we loved every moment of it. It also gave us some insight on what to expect for dishes while we stayed in Malaysia. We had just arrived not to long before coming to Georgetown so we were still not 100 percent sure of the dishes and what to expect. This Museum shows us what to expect. I still often think about this Museum and remember how fun and cool this was. I would definitely come check out the Museum during your stay in Georgetown.

Wonderful place for food lover. It contains information of India cuisine, Malaysia cuisine and Chinese cuisine. The special things are big sample of unique food.
The staff is friendly, they always ask to help me take picture.
I was impressed by the last room which is filled by humane message and food knowledge
You can have a food map in here to explore Penang
The price for foreign is 30RM, to me it’s worthy

It was an interesting place, very informative for a visitor/non-local. They also had a series of where to find the best xxx at the end of the walk.
There was a suspicious dude around the street. He kept hovering around even though he was walking way faster than me, and spitting at corners whenever I passed him. So I spent more time in the museum than I otherwise would. Just be careful in this neighborhood.

Wonderfood museum was so fun!! I love how inclusive they were, in showing the cuisines from all cultures. The exhibition just continues to wow us as we move along, from giant food sculptures, to interactive booths and fun props to take photos with. Beyond that, they also explain the significance of the cuisine, history of food and also lined the journey with art installations that asks the visitors to rethink what food means to them. One of the most fun exhibition I've been to, kudos to the team for such a thoughtful and well curated museum. Highly recommended you to visit if you are in Penang! We spent 1.5hrs there, adult ticket is RM30 for tourist.

Wonderfood Museum is a must-visit if you’re in Butterworth, Penang, especially if you want to learn about the famous local foods of Peninsular Malaysia. The entrance ticket is cheaper if purchased via Klook. The museum is comfortable, with cold air conditioning and two floors of exhibits. Numerous foods are on display, each with proper labels and stories. The museum also features props that visitors can use to take fun photos. Additionally, there is an in-house photographer offering photo services, which can be purchased at the end of the tour. Friendly staff are available at all exhibits to guide visitors if needed. Toilets are also available in the museum. Overall, we highly recommend this place, especially for families with kids, as you can learn about famous Malaysian foods up close and gain a deeper appreciation for the local cuisine.

Is more fun than expected if you are wondering how fun can seeing giant models of food be. They have some different themes like food without colours and most expensive foods, and a few photo spots. Spent about 1h! Buying tickets online is slightly cheaper so buy in advance

Love this museum! Love all the explanations of Malaysian food culture. The food replicas are really well made.

Only downside was the staff gathering in the gift shop talking loudly about personal things. I wanted to buy some things but they were so invasive we just left.

Was amazed with their ideas and creativity. It displays good information about the food we ate and creative sections that allows you to imagine what if the food was not as what we witnessed. There are also miniature models too.

A great place for family and friends.

It is a nice place to spend an hour in Penang. I had nice time and I liked it as I'm interested in Asian food. You can make some funny photos and learn a lot for the paranakan food.

Need improvement: Some of staff only.
- Staff should wishes( Happy Deepavali, Gd Mrg, Gd afternoon or Gd evening) when see visitor and when visitor enter into the Museum lobby.,
- Staff should smile when see the visitor.
- Staff should talk with visitor.
- Staff should explain about the display of food instead of just looking at visitor or walk way from the place.

Located in the city of Georgetown, Penang in Malaysia, this unique museum is definitely an informative and entertaining way to learn about Malaysia’s multi-cultural traditional cuisine. What makes the learning experience more fun is the oversized three-dimensional replicas and dioramas with detailed information of the popular local street food and delicacies.

Entrance tickets can be booked online or purchased at the museum. Allocate at least one hour to fully appreciate all the displays and taking photographs of the beautiful and skillfully done displays. Highly recommended to visit this fascinating museum.

The food replica and displays are hugh quality and appetizing, good for education about Penang foods array. And it’s air-con so highly recommended to visit during daytime. There are 2nd floor where more foods are displayed.

It's still a fun museum with excellent (realistic) displays of how people lived, ate, etc. A good summary of the variety and unique dishes and drinks in Malaysia.
Price might be a bit high, but things do get damaged despite the fact of many " no touch " signs.

It's surprisingly a good experience. If you are creative enough, you can actually build a good memories with the giant size food replica they provided...
