Vidanta Central Lobby

Vidanta is amazing. The Central Lobby is where your luggage is handled, the welcome wagon is rolled out and you begin your Vidanta adventure! We loved our experiences here with arrival & departure and also our trip to Tulum.

Very pretty and spacious lobby. Coming in for a check in you are greeting so kindly by the bellboys. They help with luggage and pack it all up in a “wheeled carriage”. They lock it in front of you and have you take a picture of your number. They will wheel it up to your room at the end of your whole check in. Only time you are really here is when you are waiting for a little shuttle train to go to your actual main lobby for the hotel you are staying at. This lobby is for pick ups, taxis, tours, getting your rental to check out more of Cancun. Everyone is very welcoming here from when you first arrive to every time you have to come through here. You aren’t interacting much with people at the desk like during your checkin since like stated before you do that process at your main lobby for your hotel. They have great very clean bathrooms here if needed. And lots of sitting space inside with lots of benches outside as well. Around the tour bus area there’s also benches and it’s very clear that with whatever tour you book from where ever this is where you need to be for pick up! Windows are pretty much always open breeze is flowing. There’s hand sanitizer stations everywhere as well.

Well organized check in be patient you are on vacation, relax and take it in

This is where your adventure begins. The team will take your luggage on a sealed cart for delivery to your room and you'll board transportation to your specific hotel for check-in. The staff is great and will guide you every step of the way!

Central lobby was very conveniently located, and the security was great here.

The staff made checking in so easy. Everytime there was a need to go to the lobby the staff was friendly and very helpful.

Displays luxury....

Beautifully decorated, open feel with the scent of a rainforest.

All employees were so helpful. Alex at the boutique we made friends emmidalitly. I'll always remember you Alex and I put away that good luck charm you gave me. You are a kind man. I'll never forget you. ❤ Heidi, the weda.

Very clean with polite staff

This is where you go to get picked up for excursions when you stay at Vidanta Riviera Maya. Note: there IS a coffee shop with food here! In case you've got an early morning tour booked and were hoping to eat something before you go. The resort map didn't call this out! I believe they opened at 6am and they're located at the end of the building next to the taxi/tour pickup point. They have similar offerings to the other cafes around the resort. The ham and cheese puff pastry thing is really good.

Why there is no boardwalk extension to get to the main lobby, especially when literally every other piece of this resort is accessible on foot, I will never know! We still wanted to walk so we took the roads. I do not think they intended guests to do that, but...from where we were staying in the Grand Mayan buildings, it was still the easiest/fastest/most direct way to get to the main lobby.

The service here, as with the rest of the Vidanta Riviera Maya, is great. They will take care of you and get you (and your luggage) where you need to go. Yes, they speak English. Any one of the staff there can help you. Their system of shuttle carts is complex and frequent - just tell the driver where you're stopping (hotel building, restaurant, etc.) and they'll get you there.

Note: other reviewers mention being asked to attend a timeshare sales presentation. The right answer to this is always the same, wherever you go in the world: "No, not interested, not going to any presentations, thank you." We didn't get asked this when we checked in, but did get a phone call the next morning in our room. They accepted the "not interested, gracias" kindly and we received no further nudging during our trip.

Checking into Vidanta was easy and quick, after a long day, that was appreciated. They delivered our bags to our room promptly. The entire staff provided answers to questions, were friendly and courteous.

Check in was quick as was check out but be aware your going to be asked to go to a presentation at check-in. There are benefits to the presentation but the hour we were told it would be turned into 2.5 hours and could have been longer had we allowed it. Some of that time did include an awesome breakfast. The lobby is very nice.

Prevent the hotels is a very large resort time share unit penny restaurant

If you enjoy ultimate luxury and a place where you can spend your 'Staycation away from home' this could be the place for you. If you like getting out to enjoy the surrounding neighborhoods, to taste the local cuisine, pueblos, and culture it just isn't. To large a place, it takes forever to get anywhere because you're dependant on carts that'll pick you up to take you wherever you need to go within their grounds. Also, they're located WAY far away from the center of Cancun (about an hour of your driving yourself - plenty longer if waiting for a ride. Definitely NOT our style. Q!

Love the vidanta lobby and the people were certainly amazingly trained customer service specialists. The vidanta members spoke multiple languages and were always willing to assist in making our travel and stay simply marvelous!

Great staff, nice place to visit.

This is a great meeting location. Easy place to transfer between stations. Great location to wait for the adventures that happen all around vidante.

Wait times aren't too long. You'll probably want to find a bench. Taxis are expensive here.

Absolutely amazing! We loved our visit..2751-1 &2. 9/26-to 10/3....mitzi was Fantastic & took very good care of us.
