The entertainment team are all amazing, keeping everyone in the holiday spirit and getting everyone involved. Especially Arturo and Wilbert bringing the energy and good vibes every single day!

Cleaners have the room looking beautiful daily.

The restaurant staff have all been polite and accommodating.

The beach bar staff have all been exceptional. Very attentive and keeping everyone happy ! By far my favourite bar out of the choices.

The only downside so far is the seaweed on the beach which is natural and cannot be helped, but a short walk left down the beach you can find a lovely little lagoon!

As an independent travel agent, I would highly recommend this hotel to my clients. I couldn’t fault it in the slightest and definitely living up to its 5* reputation.

Wife, our baby and I stayed here for a week last month (13-20). We had a great time and enjoyed all amenities. Food was great, staff is friendly and always greet you with a smile. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back. I would like to give special thanks to Luis (bell boys supervisor), Jose Vargas (reception), Mr. Alonzo (subdirector) and Jorge (security supervisor).

Francesco was the best! He always got us the best table and so friendly! We loved the service and such a beautiful location! Truly paradise!!! Loved all the local wildlife! My only issue was staying connected to the wifi! ( iPhone) others in my group did not!

We recently spent 10 days at this resort. We read a lot of negative reviews after we booked and got a little nervous. Once we arrived we were greeted by wonderful staff who treated us great for our entire stay. Food was excellent. Drinks were plentiful and always delicious. Resort was clean and maintenance staff were always busy fixing any issues. The lagoon just a short 10 minute walk down the beach was excellent for swimming in and there were always plenty of colourful fish that could be seen swimming around you. We all had a fantastic time and will 100% return in the future.

10/10!! We are here celebrating our honeymoon and can not recommend enough! The service and staff are fantastic. This is our first all inclusive and is exactly what we were looking for. Not too expensive either :)

The resort was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly. The property was very clean. Our favourite part of the trip was the daily pool activities. The staff putting on the activities were full of energy and their efforts went far beyond what we have experienced at other resorts.

Francisco provided us with amazing service and always went above and beyond to help us with anything! He was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed! Our favourite fruit was the fresh mangoes, and he was always sure to cut them up beautifully to give to us. We thoroughly enjoyed his service and would recommend anyone to come and enjoy this resort!!!!

My wife and I are on our last day at this resort. I just had to write to you to explain our experience here.
This resort is absolutely amazing! The people are so nice, the rooms are absolutely amazing, so clean, with room service to beat all others, no other words to describe this experience. I will absolutely highly recommend this resort and sunwing travel with the VIP upgrade as our experience has been none other than spectacular! I will be booking with Sunwing again and again. However our next trip will most likely be Hawaii, I will in future be coming back to Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda again.
We absolutely loved every minute of our trip. The weather was also so great. The most relaxing time we have ever had.

Excellent service to rooms and at restaurants. All of the staff is supper friendly and very helpful. Francisco one of our waiters stood out in particular he remembered our names and we were treated like family from the beginning! The cenote lagoon is a short beach walk and will not disappoint!

This was our first time to visit Mexico.Im impressed with this resort very clean and the staff were friendly at all times .The best experience was the restaurant. Fernando and Miguel were our restaurant staff that we looked forward to see every meal .These two guys went way beyond our expectations.I feel these guys made our whole trip the best My Wife and I have ever had .10 stars for both of them .A Great big Thank You to them for making us feel like family .i hope to return next year.

Perfect place. Budget is very economical. Excellent customer service skills. Great people. Been to lots of countries for a vacation and I must say if it's not everyone in Mexico that is nice. I still will give BlueBay Resort and it employees 100%

The food was great, lots of entertainment from the beach, the theatre. Gym spa is great!
The resort is clean and so huge that you will need a golf cart to ride to go some of the places of the resort!

Rooms were average but were clean and reality is you are just sleeping there. Service was amazing, Ruperta at the buffet was always watching for you and spent the extra time to remember what you drink making the service for a buffet fantastic!

Can walk the beach in both directions with a cenote just left within a 5 min walk. Great trip all around!

Just finished 12 course tasting dinner. It was amazing. This was our second time for this event! Thank you Blue Bay. Incredible food experience, live string music and a paired wine for each course.

Amazing service! Had Alberto Ek as a server and he was extremely helpful and didn’t miss a beat if we needed anything. He also was so helpful in finding an accommodating meal for someone with dietary restrictions with no issue even without it being on the menu! Would definitely come back again great service all round :)

Second visit to this resort. We can back as it was a solid location and we enjoyed the last visit.
I rate based on comparable resorts and we were happy. Service and staff were all amazing. Food was great and a good selection. The rooms were nice, clean and the bed very comfortable. We did have issues in busy times getting hot water.
They need to get more beach chair/loungers. Was next to impossible to get one unless you camped on one super early.
I do wish they would also politely enforce smoking areas. There were very few smokers but they would park in clearly non smoking areas with signage.
The beach is soft and great sand but turns to much about 50’ out. Snorkeling was not possible but East of the resort is a small stream existing the first with great snorkeling.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this beautiful resort. The staff were incredible and extremely helpful especially Luis Loya at the concierge desk who made my stay a remarkable experience. The food & room was excellent. We had a wonderful experience and we enjoyed our stay. We will most definitely be coming back again next year for our 26 Anniversary. Chris & Selena Jones

Miriam our daily server was very friendly and spoke as if she was family. She took good care of my family and is a very important asset to this resort. She made it very memorable.

We just returned from a week long visit to BlueBay Grand Esmeralda and are very pleased with our experience. The best thing about this resort is the staff and their exceptional service. Each person went out of their way to please.The resort has several carts that you can hop on and ride it to go almost anywhere on the resort. The buffet restaurants were nice, plenty to choose from, such as fruits, veggies, pastas, meats, soup, pastries and baked goods, fresh cut to order meats and many other items to choose from. All the a la carte restaurants are wonderful, we visited Seafood, Italian, French & Mexican. All our dishes were delicious, cook to perfection.The cleaning and maid service were awesome, our room was clean and reasonable well maintained, everyday they would come in and make the bed and clean the room, and stock our fridge. The pools were inviting and well used by our family even though pool chairs are hard to find. The big pool has all the entertainment crew that seemed to do a pretty good job. All drinks were good as well. We had a wide variety and the bartenders were willing to accommodate. There is a bar with swings at the far end of the resort.
In short, the Bluebay Grand Esmeralda Resort is an exceptional value for the money. If you want to treat your family to a wonderful vacation at a fair price, you will not be disappointed.
