Iberostar Paraíso Beach

This was my fourth visit to the Riviera Maya, but my first time at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resort.
I went with my friend and we stayed there for a week in March. So we had an amazing trip! Excellent food, accommodation, very lush grounds, large pool and beautiful beach. All the staff are wonderful and fun, but my heart goes to Sarah, the concierge. She was always polite and very helpful with our few concerns/ questions we had. Thank you, dear, you are the best one!
I so much sorry that we couldn't stay for 10 days, but definitely we are planning to go again !

Stuff is very friendly, and top customer service. If you have a problem or a request, the stuff is eager to help quickly.

Having used the fitness centre extensively, I can say that the instructors are super friendly and very competent. A huge thanks to Armando, Luis, Sergio (both :)) and the whole team - I miss them already! Also, the machines are more than sufficient to train all the body parts.

We stayed at the beach. Everything was excellent. All the servers were excellent. We had a great time at the pool, especially in the afternoon. With all the games that were being done and Emily did an exceptional job with us. Very plight, attend and fun to be around. Emily made her. We care very special and enjoyable.

Martini, was the best concierge! He guided us the whole way through our stay. He is friendly, knowledgeable and a joy.

Rooms were cleaned daily and the housekeeping staff added such cute touches (folding the towels in fun ways) because they could tell we had kids.

Food was great and we enjoyed the options. Could please all the picky eaters in my family.

Vacation was smooth and exactly what we wanted. Only took off stars for dates room decor.

Iberostar was an excellent resort! The concierge, Martini was outstanding. His excitement and kindness was one of a kind. He was very helpful and honest. He was always in a good mood, smiling and radiated positivity which was contagious in all the best ways. He helped us book our dinner reservations, offered many suggestions, gave us tips and hooked us up with an awesome experience one day. Being first time travelers, he answered our questions regardless of how silly they may have been and helped make our trip very memorable! Thank you so much Martini!

We stayed at Paraiso Beach for a week and had a fantastic experience overall. The staff were very accommodating, the grounds are lush and green, we had no issue getting lounge spots at the beach and pool, there were many activities for us to do daily, and we really enjoyed most the food, with one exception of the Japanese restaurant (it wasn't bad, just bland).
This resort is not close to the town of Playa del Carmen, so if you are hoping to leave the resort to explore, you will need to book a taxi or catch a colectivo across the highway.
The room was clean and comfortable but a little bit dated.
When you arrive, the concierge will immediately try to sign you up for their resort membership. You can decide for yourself if you want to attend, it's a 90 minute event with lunch included with a hardball sales pitch at the end.

Overall we loved staying at the Iberostar Paraiso and would stay there again.

Perfect. We could not fault anything. The food & drink were excellent. The rooms clean & comfortable. The service attentive & caring. The day & evening entertainment was good with the music age appropriate. Good clean pool area, no problem getting a lounger. Plenty of towels. Loved it & will be back.

Resort: Iberostar Paraiso Beach is beautiful! Great food, gorgeous grounds, amazing amenities (pools, beach, fitness, shopping)! And, as our check-in representative, Joshua was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, he was kind, friendly and extremely helpful. We appreciated his honesty and helping us navigate booking day trips from the resort! Iberostar is extremely lucky to have him as an outstanding resort representative! 😊

Been here for 5 days. Entertainment crew do a great job keeping up the energy of guests. Beach is beautiful! The grounds are immaculate. We have been able to find beach and pool chairs everyday so far. Food has been good at the buffet and El Takito was fabulous. Only downfall is there wasn’t much for free evening entertainment. Although they put on a great Mexican Culture show.

Absolutely love this place and its staff!! Some of the nicest, most welcoming people who are personable and willing to help with ANYTHING you need. My friends and I were supposed to leave a day before the exciting main event Foam Party and were sad we would miss it, so Sergio and Jireh got it changed to the day before so we could attend! So thankful! We had the best, relaxing and fun time!!

Our stay was an absolute delight. The service at the hotel was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming, making us feel truly valued as guests. However, it was Joshua, our concierge, who truly stood out. His attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond were remarkable.

This resort was great! The workers were so kind and hard working. They made it a priority to know our names and make us feel welcome. Specifically, the activities crew was the best!! They were so fun and they made our time at the resort so much better!! Sergio was awesome along with the other activity crew members!!

We have had a great time at the Grand Pariso. Service has been great and the food and drinks have been greats. We had a fantastic time at the shooting clinic with Sergio as well! Highly recommend taking advantage of the activities the resort offers

Great stay as always, stay here every time family visits from abroad. Weather was great, had family members visiting for the first time and our concierge Elizabeth was very pleasant, attentive, and informative. My family loved her charm, she had great tips that made our stay very easy and enjoyable, Elizabeth made sure we spent our vacation doing what we wanted to do and enjoy. The waiters and bartenders were so professional and kind, and our housekeeper was excellent, our rooms were absolutely clean our entire stay. Overall an incredible stay without any hiccups. Thank you all for your great service. Cannot wait for the summer, we have planned a two week stay. See you soon and thanks again.

Amazing resort. Lots to do and see. Entertainment staff were fun and engaging and even remembered our faces from day to day. Service excellent. We will definitely come again for vacation.

I very much love the resort it self, nice food around, the pool is huge!
The only downside is the amount of seaweed on the beach. Not sure if it’s due the season (February) or if it’s like this year round.
We’re a party of 12 and they make us wait 20+ minutes to find a table for all of us, because that the place and stuff are amazing :):)

Be aware: some stuff members are around asking to scan a QR code to leave a review, in some cases they write the review for you, so not sure how accurate all these comments are.

For the very first time this kind of holidays, for sure not the last one. This place is amazing plenty of lovely people and stuff. Everything is clean, they are here always available for us. Food is nice, activities are great, cocktails in the pool are amazing! I wish to stay here forever! Couldn't be better honestly , this is paradise!

Excellent service from concierge Sara at the Iberostar Paraíso Beach hotel! With her assistance, we were able to easily book reservations at restaurants, making our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. Her professionalism, friendliness, and prompt responses to our requests were truly impressive. Thanks to her, our stay at the hotel became unforgettable, and we will gladly return here in the future. Sergio at the pool was a ton of fun! Lots of fun games. Food by the pool was great. Chairs hard to find, but the staff works hard to help find unused chairs. Use the staff!! Will definitely return. Thanks for a great vacation!

We recently travelled to the Mayan Riviera and stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach where we had an amazing time, beautiful location with lots of animals around, and SUCH excellent service!!

I was especially nervous as my two kids are allergic to peanuts and several tree nuts. My mind was soon put to rest! We were given allergy cards upon arrival and an email was sent to the chefs/kitchens. (I almost cried from relief for the amazing way they managed this). Every morning, Abigail, the morning chef gave us a tour of what was safe/unsafe and gave us specially prepared items when needed. And at every dinner, Christian the evening head chef would magically appear at our table to run us through what was safe and most nights he made special desserts for my kids. We've avoided international travel because of the stress of managing the kids allergies but this was SUCH a relief and such exceptional service. I highly recommend it for those with food allergies and everyone else too! :D
