My wife and I traveled here for our 11 year anniversary and it was such an incredible experience!

We were nervous since we had never been to an all inclusive, but this place came recommended by a couple friends and we are so glad.

The staff made us feel right at home. The entertainment team (Chris, Octavia, Hazael, Alexander and Charlie) were so much fun to play volleyball with and hosted great events for us guests. Emmanuel was an incredible concierge attendant. Julian, our waiter at Papitos, was so kind and attentive. Augustin also hosted an amazing tequila tasting!

I couldn’t recommend this place more! Must visit!

My husband and I first visited El Dorado Maroma for our honeymoon six years ago. We wanted more of a boutique hotel vibe instead of one loaded down with loud drunk tourists. We fell in love with this property and the staff that runs it and we have been back three times since our honeymoon, and will continue to come back. The property is absolutely beautiful and it is incredibly clean. The food is wonderful, there are plenty of activities and they have an amazing spa that is the best spa experience I’ve ever had. The entire staff at this property is truly what makes this place so special. We have gotten to know many team members and we see them every year. The fact that the same staff is there year after year is a testament to how great this place is. Every staff member is wonderful, but some in particular that are very special to us and do everything they can to ensure we have the absolute best time are:

It was our first time at an all-inclusive resort and it set the bar high! Delicious food, beautiful beach, and awesome accommodations. The resort is gorgeous and felt like the perfect size. The crowd does skew mostly older, but it was a good speed/vibe if you're looking to mostly relax. The events staff kept things lively, we were entertained every day with the help of Chris, Carlos, and Alexander!

We had a fantastic time at this resort. Very intimate, quiet, and relaxing. Food was so fresh, delicious and portioned appropriately. The activities on the resort were the perfect amount. Not to much. The ladies and gentlemen that did activities here( Alexander, Chris, Octavio, Carlos, Hazel) did a fantastic job. Service from Randy, Felipe the bartender and so many others was excellent! The massages are amazing there! Very much recommended to stay at this place if you want true relaxation!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at El Dorado Maroma. The grounds are beautiful, lots of lush greenery, and super clean and well kept. The resort is easy to get around. The beach is spectacular white sand. The food here is excellent, and the service is outstanding.

The hotel staff was phenomenal. I did not receive a welcome gift in the room, nor did I experience any aromatherapy at any time of either cleaning the room or turndown service.
The restaurants were excellent, but the menus have not changed since I started visiting El Dorado Maroma. It would be nice to have a little change of pace every once in a while.
The ice cream parlor is a great addition!

Chris, Octavio and Alexander are amazing activity directors! Diego, Rene, all the bartenders are so accommodating! Alex and Israel are the best butlers! Can’t wait to return!!!! Manny and Eli, best beach setups ever! Betsbe and Karen are our favorite amigas!

If you want a relaxing, away from everything place, this is it! The staff are great and super responsive. The food is actually really good! (I didnt love the caribbean grill, but everything else was wonderful!) I will note that i moved rooms (it was my preference, i wanted to be closer to the beach, there was nothing wrong with my original room) and the new room I got was more upgraded/seemed recently remodled. I would recommend a swim up room or the little rooms by the beach. I traveled alone, single female for three days. met great people. Volleyball was fun and DO NOT miss the catamaran trip with the brunch. THE FOOD THERE IS SO GOOD. And even though i didn't see too much during the snorkeling part, it was super cool to be out on the reef. Also, Mio has shockingly good Italian food and the mexican night at Papitos is SO good.

Had a wonderful time at this property with my Realty Group from Toronto. Though rooms were not ready when we arrived, but our initial not so good experience was soon overtaken by amazing hospitality. Everyone was smiling and happy. Each and everyone working in the resort was more than willing to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.I would like to give especially, 5 stars to Chef & staff at Papito restaurant. Amazing food preparation. Not to miss Lima restaurant and staff , loved the outdoor sitting area and amazing food.
Beach was super clean. Met lot of nice guests. Though crowd was skewed towards older people but not so crowded and relaxed.
Overall amazing experience and thanks for making our stay memorable. Will definitely visit again ☺

We couldn't have asked for better entertainment! The vibe and warm welcome of every member was amazing. Chris remembers names and personally invites you to each event! Octavio was funny and kept the laughter going! Alexander and Hazel played a role in everyday. These guys are one in a million! Thank you for the fun first visit to El Dorado, we will be back!!

The resort is small and lovely. The grounds and beach are beautiful. The room was well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. We even had a partial view of the ocean if we laid on the ned on pur balcony. The staff is great and the food was spectacular. Our favorite were the fish dishes. The resort has a very chill vibe which we appreciated and it was nice seeing the same people around. We only stayed 2 nights to try it out but will definitely be back for more nights.

We had a FANTASTIC experience at El Dorado Maroma and will certainly return.
The entire staff was very friendly. Food was good. Property was very well maintained, even the areas that were about dated. We loved it.
Honorable mention to specifically Angel at Lima Limon, and Martinano who served us at both Lima Limon and Palafitos. They were incredibly kind and treated us like royalty!
I don't remember her name, but the morning hostess at Papitos was fantastic. She remembered our names, room number, and my shrimp allergy.

You have a very special staff - that's the reason we'll be back!

The property is very beautiful but the people are even more beautiful and friendly. The last day, we did yoga with Alexander and we really liked it. Everything during our vacation was incredible, granja you for Charlie, Chris, Octavio and hazel and Elias

Our first day we arrived we were greeted immediately by Chris, Hazel, Alexander and Octavio. We were able to go kayaking, play sand volleyball, water volleyball, bingo and crafting. The activities group were very engaging and helping with any questions. As soon as you arrive, check in with these guys for a great experience . I would highly recommend the management check into promoting Chris and Octavio to whatever role they request. They really delivered an experience to remember.

The bar service, I highly recommend Rene, Kennet. Rene was very outgoing and would check in with you. The drinks were top notch and I never had a bad drink.

Alberto and Felipe, they were able to provide a dining experience that we did not forget. The food experience was something I will not forget.

The events along with the event staff at the resort was awesome! Hazael, Chris, Alexander, and Octavio were very friendly and were always trying to make everyone’s vacation enjoyable. The resort itself was located on one of the nicest beaches I’ve been to and the service was 10/10! I would definitely recommend!

This is our second time visiting this resort and once again our expectations were far exceeded. The staff are excellent in every regard. The beach is incredible and the accommodations are as well. The recreational staff are especially wonderful; Octavio, Chris, Adrien, Carlos, Hazel, and Alexander are so welcoming and we had an awesome time playing beach volleyball with the whole crew.

I loved my stay at the hotel! The staff was very attentive, especially the animation team, they are a great team, Cris, Alex, Daniel, Octavio and Charlie are very good at doing their job.

Chris, Alexander, Carlos and Hazal got the party started every day. They played amazing music, put on the best shows and were so personable. They truly made this an unforgettable experience. Our personal concierge, Shirem, pulled all the strings to seal the deal on the best honeymoon we could have imagined. We can’t wait to come back for some sun, fun and drinks from our favorite vacation crew ever.
