Iberostar Paraiso del Mar

We had an absolute amazing stay here!! We were here for two weeks and it was fantastic. We loved the food at the buffets and we loved the food at the restaurant. The nature was stunning it felt like we were in the jungle everyday. Seeing the beautiful animals that live around the resort was our highlight!! We didn’t want to go home after two weeks and normally you feel sick of a place at that point. The people that work for the resort were also wonderful and kind. Always super helpful. We highly recommend!!

We stayed at the resort for a total of 3 days. The resort is big, welcoming, and walkable. The place is nicely decorated. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was amazing, they had different type of cuisines around the resort and you can also set up reservations for restaurant at night for a dine in experience. The pool is big, it has a bar, and there are plenty of seats to choose from. The beach is beautiful, there are plenty of seats and you can also rent a bed for the whole day if you want to. There is a policy regarding your seat at the beach, if you leave for more than 30 mins your spot is no longer valid. We ran into this issue when somebody claimed that we had stolen their “seats”, and claimed that by leaving their book bag they had “reserved” their seats, but they were not aware of the policy. During that issue the other person and his family were really rude and disrespectful not only to us but the staff. They were disrespectful in their words and also degrading the workers at the same time. I have to congratulate the staff for being calmed about the situation and handling it so well. As a resolution, the staff helped us move to other seats. Regardless, there is a food and a bar at the beach so you have snacks and drinks. Overall would recommend coming for a weekend/week getaway with your family/friends/couple.

We recently stayed at Iberostar Del Mar and it was absolutely perfect! We were welcomed by the best of the best, Ramiro! He helped us with anything and everything! Any issues we had he was right there to help. He was always helpful and happy.
The resort was beautiful and always clean.
We would go for breakfast to the buffet. I believe it was the La Plaza and always had the best service by Karen. She was always happy to see and just the sweetest!
Can’t wait to go back especially to see our 2 favorite people, Ramiro and Karen! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My stay at the resort was amazing! The resort is kept in immaculate condition. The food was great! I can’t say enough! A huge shout out to Oswaldo and Sergio. These guys were so friendly and helpful. Not sure how they remember names but they did! All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be returning to this resort.

Great experience here. Reservation restaurants were great, food & staff were 5 stars. Buffet was what we expected. The grounds were very well kept and clean. We would definitely return. Next time we will bring kids. It seems very family friendly but not loud.

Amazing stay at this wonderful resort last week! Yummy food, authentic drinks and the servers smiles were the highlights. Special thanks to Chinos for taking the time to spend one morning with us showing us other Iberostar hotels and villas.

Patricia is the best host ! She greeted us and gave us so much information . I knew I could count her whenever I needed anything . The hotel room was very nice and spacious. Room service came to clean up our space while we were gone . Everything was lovely . I would definitely recommend.

We love the Iberostar hotel chain, the rooms looked a little bit old but (we barely spent any time in the rooms) all the other amenities of the hotel made up for it. Amazing beach and pools, great restaurants with delicious food and plenty of activities and entertainment for the whole family. This was our first All-Inclusive experience in Mexico and it blew us away, it was all we hoped for and more. The kids (under 10 years old at the time) were so happy to be spending time at the kids club so that me and my husband had time to enjoy all the other sporting and entertainment activities that the resort was offering.

My family had a great time. I would like to recognize Alejandro from lobby Del Mar. He was very helpful to my elderly(in-laws) parents who had a awesome time. Thank you Al for exceeding our families expectations. We will be back.

What an amazing place. The entertainment was absolutely out of this world, such a fun and personable activity team.

The food was awesome every single day. Tons of selections and variety with daily specials.

We were lucky enough to be on the resort to experience the Halloween as well as Day of the Dead celebrations. The whole resort was decorated and the events and food were themed to each day.

The weather was not exactly the best while we were visiting and they were great with having alternative options for activities if the weather wasn't cooperating for their planned events.

We loved our time on this resort and will continue to share our positive experiences with all of our family and friends.

People with negative reviews are ridiculous. This resort is fabulous! Nothing wrong with buffet food and it was certainly warm and most had decent flavor. Hibachi grill (Hashiri) was awesome! Rodizio is a unique experience and a must. Staff from grounds, bell hops, to cleaning staff & entertainment team were very friendly. A special call out to concierge Alejandro with his passion for Del Mar and waiter Joshua with his Mexican water suggestion and superb service. Yordy provided a wonderful dining experience as well. Alejandro didn’t push us to join the members club and no staff mentioned it again during our 6 night stay. Room’s AC was adequate for 85+ weather. Definitely recommend the grilled items at the pool that happen around lunch. Very tasty! Grounds, pool and beach area were all in pristine condition. Golf cart escorts were timely and courteous. Arranged pickup at room at 740 AM on checkout and they were even a few minutes early. The resort provides with excess and leave's you never wanting more food or drink. We will be back.

Just got back from Del Mar last night! This resort is absolutely beautiful and lots to see and do. The staff are VERY helpful. We had Bladimir for a server at every breakfast. What a great young man and does a wonderful job to make sure we have everything we needed. All staff right down to the gardeners are so friendly and helpful! I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Maria the concerige was very at the front desk. She had great suggestions for dinners. She greeted us with a smile and took her time to make sure answers all our questions.

My family and I had a wonderful time! What a beautiful place to relax and disconnect from the routine! I loved spending as much time as possible on the beach. The pool area was also nice with a beautiful waterfall.

There's a variety of food and drinks and they are delicious! I enjoyed the tacos at the beach grill place for lunch.

We also loved the crepes, ice cream and the coffee at the shopping mall area.

Isabella from the entertainment crew was awesome! Her Zumba beach workouts are amazing! I had so much fun! Great music and simple, yet fun dance routines! I also enjoyed her relaxing beach sunrise yoga.

The Dressel Divers are conveniently located at the resort. Our daughter got open water scuba certified. We had fun dives, and saw lots of wildlife. The scuba instructor David was wonderful! He was very helpful, understanding, attentive and professional. We were lucky to have him as our scuba guide and our daughter's teacher. Nat was great too, he helped with the pool water review part.

Overall, no complaints! I highly recommend this place! It will certainly be missed!

Such a beautiful resort in a great location! The entertainment team put in a lot of effort to get guests excited, and Sergio was very active in hyping up visitors. The landscaping is jaw dropping, and they do an amazing job maintaining the area.

The whole trip was great! The food, the service, the experience - all was top tier :) Me and my boyfriend went for nine days and had lots of fun. I want to give special thanks to Jireh who was very nice and made our trip even better !

First time here and our stay was amazing! A special shout out to Josue and his entertainment team! They rocked the pool and got everyone involved…foam party was a blast! Thanks Josue!! Will be back!

Great food, amazing nights and an incredible atmosphere. I was there for my birthday and the entertainment team made my vacations the best yet. We had the pleasure to meet Juliana and she is a wonderful member of the team. Looking forward to come back soon!

The absolute greatest experience with my family!!! Such an amazing resort! EVERYTHING is included and there are endless options! Every meal, every luxury is given! The staff is so kind and helpful and the fire show was such a fabulous experience!! We will definitely be back!!!

The entertainment the entire week was great. There were a lot of different events all throughout the resort that were easy to get involved in. Uriel was also a very great DJ in the beach lobby! Biri also helped us out a lot with anything we needed on our stay.
