Absolutely amazing experience. The facility is in a beautiful more secluded location. The food was great, and we are pretty picky about food. The customer service was absolutely wonderful at every turn. Our room was impeccable and beautiful and modern. Beach was wonderful. Absolutely recommend!!!

We had an amazing time, we went as guests for a wedding. The wedding was absolutely incredible. The rooms were beautiful, everything was pristine, service was top of the line. Alberto was our pool server and he went out of his way to take care of us. Edgar was a part of entertainment and he played poker and bingo with us at the pool. They truly made the experience. I would highly recommend

This resort was AMAZING!!! My husband and I went here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful and very clean; the grounds of the resort were beautiful and well maintained; the beach was gorgeous with no seaweed and almost had the feeling of a private beach with only two other resorts nearby; the restaurants were fantastic and the food was delicious! Also the staff was very friendly and helpful! There were also 3 shops that had nice quality items.We will definitely be coming back here!

Excellent resort - I’d say it’s worth the price. Food was good - steaks, seafood, Mexican food was amazing..:: We had a swim out in a larger building so the pool was super long and it was lovely for long swims in the morning (also wasn’t overly chloriney). The service was top notch. Excellent customer service training by all staff - operationally exceptional! Good job Hyatt! So if you’re deciding on this resort, you can stop reading here.

For the management of this resort…. Our only complaint is that they were constantly trying to upsell… whether it’s reserving seats at the evening show, “special” dinners, etc. there was also a $200 resort credit they said you can have. It was so disappointing, you had to sit through a sad sales pitch only to learn that the $200 is actually only $10 toward one thing, $20 towards another and so on.. it was really disappointing- it was not a good experience, you felt completely duped and had your time wasted. Then when we didn’t buy the $200 “credit”… they tried to talk us into attending some timeshare breakfast thing… anyway. I get it, everyone’s gotta make a buck. But it just didn’t feel good. 🤷🏻‍♀

I LOVED everything about this resort! I’m a travel agent on the side and anytime I travel I’m always thinking if I would recommend places to others. I had no bad experience and there is nothing I would I change! The service of the staff is top quality and every single worker I encounters were helpful and friendly. We were constantly treated like royalty and truly felt like a 5 star vacation! I loved our swim out room and not sure I can ever stay in a regular room again! The room was well stocked, spacious, clean and everything worked appropriately. I loved the decor throughout the resort. The daily activities and nightly entertainment were phenomenal! I loved the paint night my husband and I did before dinner one night. We enjoyed an evening of painting, wine and cheese. I loved the daily activities and enjoyed a spinning class in the pool. I loved that you could choose to fill your day with activities or relax by the beach or the pool. The beach was absolutely gorgeous! It was well kept and maintained very well. The food was great and I don’t think we had one bad meal and we ate at almost all of the restaurants on site. My favorite was the hibachi! I loved that the resort didn’t feel too big and it didn’t feel like you had to walk forever to get to the pools, bars, restaurants, etc. everything seemed to be in one or two areas of the resort. Absolutely loved the pools! Loved that pool floats were provided. I could go on and on but this is an exceptional resort with exceptional services and staff! Management is doing something right! I will definitely be back and would choose this resort over again!

Rooms - Esther, the concierge of our building, was excellent! Gave us a tour of the room when we arrived and the room we had was top notch. She was very helpful whenever we needed something and took care of a few bookings for us.

Service - The service was great all over the resort. We rented the bali bed down at the beach almost each day we were there. Enrique, the concierge at the beach, was on top of his stuff. Alberto, the server, is a great dude who always had food and drinks coming

Location - Only about a 40 minute ride from the airport. In a nice and quiet area.

This resort was amazing. The staff were so attentive and the resort is stunning. Thank you Emmanuel (concierge) for being so kind and helpful. Another shout out to Alfredo (beach service) for being friendly and making the best blueberry mojitos. Had an amazing time and would highly recommend..

Just got back from 8 day stay. Absolutely amazing! Top notch service from the second we arrived till we left. Rooms, grounds, pools, restaurants are all beautiful. The beach is spectacular. I truly cannot say enough about the service. Felt completely pampered at every turn. Can't wait to come back!

We went to the Secrets Maroma All Inclusive Family Resort in Cancun Mexico Feb 18th 2024 to February 23 2024. Had a great time the weather was fabulous everyday 75-83😎. The water in the bay was warm after the first day and clear of seaweed and jelly fish, great for swimming. Service is the best, especially the over-the-top service we got from Francisco down at the beach and Francia our concierge. Facilities were very clean and impeccable. We found the food to be good at the restaurants and at the buffet. You do not have to have a reservation for dinner, with one exception the Himitsu the Asian restaurant if you want to eat at the hibachi grill. I love the coffee shop Coco Café was open 24-7. Rooms were great, we stayed on the tropical side, because of availability. You can bring all your chargers for your electronics because they have US charging on each side of the bed. Let me just get right to the point. This place is amazing. Me and my wife decided to have our honeymoon here and we were not disappointed. The resort was extremely clean. Everyone who worked there to pride and what they did, and we felt like they went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our concierge Paola was amazing from the first day we checked in until the last day, she was always making sure that everything was perfect for us. Not only was she professional, but she is the best concierge we have ever had we almost felt like she was our friend and we had known her for years by the time we left if you ever get a chance to come here you need to ask for her you will not be disappointed . The food was amazing. There are so many options. The nightlife was fantastic. There was always something going on and if we wanted just to stay in our room, it was quiet and we felt like we were the only ones here this will top our places that we’ve traveled as the best we have been to And we can’t think them enough for making this such an amazing experience. Thank you secrets of Mara and Paula for making this such a wonderful experience.

This was the most amazing property in Mexico. The food amazing the drinks amazing the service amazing. You will not regret staying here. Our concierge Roger was the top tier he went above and beyond and did so much for me and my fiance. I can't wait to go back. I also recommend the swim out room having a private pool right out of your room was a great thing.

You get what you paid for. This place has been on our Secrets list awhile and didn’t disappoint. Awesome beach and turquoise water. Excellent Premier palapas, bars, restaurants. Definitely our favorite (and we have been to a lot of Secrets locations as we are UVC members.)

Wonderful hotel! Traveled with my spouse to celebrate our three year wedding anniversary. The staff is beyond friendly. The service is impeccable. The rooms are flawless. The beach is amazing and only a few steps away from the pool. Several different restaurants to choose from. Only negative thing I can say is that the pool towels had a minor smell and I kept getting bit by mosquitos inside and outside of our room. Other than that, FIVE STARS!

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon and it was an incredible stay (early November). We felt so attended to by everyone on the resort, especially our concierge. Several times throughout our stay we received little treats delivered to the room and it was such a nice touch. The level of service we received (without even being Preferred) was spectacular and it made us feel so special during our stay. Even staying nine nights we never tired of the restaurant choices (we dined at Himitsu five times! The sushi was to die for). We stayed in an ocean view room; the room was spacious and clean. I loved that there was a separate sitting area and a balcony as well. Having breakfast on the balcony while looking out over the resort and towards the ocean was perfect. The beach was beautiful and never felt crowded and Marvin made sure we always had drinks when needed. If you are looking for a clean, white sand beach that is walkable, Maroma Beach is where you need to go! This was our first time staying at a Secrets Resort and we definitely plan on booking another stay with them in the future.

We had our wedding here and it was a great experience overall! The wedding went off without any issues. Karla, our wedding coordinator, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect! Roberto, our concierge was consistently helpful and welcoming! Overall the food was very good, drinks were great, and the options for entertainment and activities were plentiful. We could not have asked for a better overall experience. We also got the preferred club option which we believe was worth the investment.

This was the best all inclusive I’ve been to. Usually food and drinks are hit and miss at an all inclusive but I was pleasantly surprised with the food and drinks. Delicious!! A lot of options! I stayed in the swim out room, the pool was heated and very clean. Pro tip- upgrade to preferred you won’t regret it!

The attention to detail and friendliness of the staff is unmatched. The beach massage is TO DIE FOR! Ask for Juliana! 10/10 highly recommend and will be back. Thank you to our concierge Roger as well and friendly workers Mauricio, Oscar and Hector!

This trip was the first time my boyfriend and I visited Mexico. Secrets Maroma truly delivered in all aspects you would expect from a tropical resort. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The beach and the pools were extremely well kept. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The rooms were beautiful with house keeping services that kept the room clean daily. Not to mention the large jacuzzi tub and complimentary mini bar. The food was absolutely incredible, ranging from French cuisine, Japanese, Italian, and of course your traditional Mexican cuisine. The drinks were delicious with a variety of different options to choose from. The resort offers so many amenities, such as a night club, live entertainment, complementary kayak, boat rides, and paddle boards. My boyfriend and I did a couples message at the spa on property which was absolutely amazing. The message itself was a little pricy, but included use of the saunas and hydrotherapy pools. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway in the Cancun area.

What can I say other than this resort was absolutely STUNNING!

Service: The service was impeccable. Our concierge, Esther, took care of our every need. We didn't have to lift a finger. This wasn't limited to just her though - every person working there was eager and willing to help us and anticipate what we might need or want. The champagne and cold towel on arrival was the cherry on top.

Food: Everything I had here was delicious and beautiful. We had a private dinner on our anniversary night and it's one of the best meals I've ever had, definitely one to remember. I'm no stranger to fine dining and the food blew me away. There was constantly something new to look at or try. Something to know - they're constantly setting up dinners and lunches by the pool so watch out for that!

Entertainment: the beach was absolutely perfect and the water was just gorgeous. We participated in the Kayak tour which was great! Shout out to Oscar and Edgar who were informative and made the trip fun.

We only wish we could've stayed longer! A beautiful trip and we will definitely revisit!
