Mayan Palace

Absolutely stunning. We had a wonderful time. Most people spoke English. Also booked our tour through the resort. Would love to visit again. Very upscale, top of the line in service and quality of the resort. Very well maintained.

Everything about this place is beautiful! The location is right in the middle of cancun and Playa del Carmen. The grounds are gorgeous and full of life inside the fauna. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed in a 2 bedroom which was a master with a connected two bed unit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and so friendly. We visited the pools, beach, main store and purchased from the hotel excursion counter. Such a beautiful place to stay and all of our kids loved it!

Spent 5 days here for our 5 year anniversary.

Had a great week and really enjoyed the food, although it wasnt all inclusive.

Food and drink were spectacular and I would love to have an order of Nachos and a slushy drink back here.

I spent an amazing vacation here with my grandmother. The staff was amazing and sweet with us. If you have to walk anywhere it's a beautiful wooden path through the jungle. Everywhere is handicap accessible and the staff always seem eager to help.

A very nice resort laid out nature style. The amenities are wonderful. The service is great. They have. Many workers here to help you receive anything you may need restaurants. Pools, vacation is enjoyable.

Amazing location with such views over the Caribbean Sea. Direct access to the beach. Wonderful pathways to navigate yourself around the resort going through the ‘wilderness’. Expect to see ‘wildlife’ wandering around on the resort, squirrels, snakes, iguana’s, raccoons to name a few.
Staff knows what customer service is about, so friendly and helpful. Park is kept very tidy and clean.

Stayed in the Grand Luxxe Residences 3br loft: first class accommodations and services. The personnel is the kindest and friendliest group of people. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and all the amenities needed for a great vacation. Access to the beach club and other exclusive facilities.

I love Vidanta! It is clean, so very friendly, and drop dead gorgeous. I wish there were an indoor area for “hanging out” and meeting people to listen to music or dance… but here are a few small bars but nothing that is a bit lively. Don’t get me wrong I love the quiet and peace, but a week can be long without more than water aerobics and pool side shenanigans. Also, hate that the pool club is so strict about your “level” of stay… I have two timeshares, one with access and one without that level… but here is the thing… money spends the same, drinks and food cost the same no matter the pool… Vidanta trying to make ppl buy an upgrade so they can go to a certain area is reminiscent of a caste system, it’s antiquated and just makes me not want to visit, NOT spend more money with them… The resort is beautiful, safe and relaxing… just feel they need to make some changes.

Our stay here was great. After reading some mixed reviews, we weren’t sure what to expect so hopefully this helps other consumers prepare for a good trip.

Overall, this Vidanta resort blew us away. The Mayan Palace itself could use a little bit of a redesign (it’s nice, but a little beige/early 2000s)—but the rooms matched what was online, were extremely clean, comfortable beds and couches, and had ample space for relaxing. We loved room service at Mayan Palace so much we ordered it twice (the veggie enchiladas rocked). We had an issue with our first room and were promptly moved to a much better one on a higher floor. Huge thanks to Teresa and Daniel for their help and kindness.

We thought the food was awesome! La Cantina was our favorite for a fancier meal and we also loved Salum for something more casual. At all of the restaurants, the service was outstanding and prices were very fair for the quality.

The main pool is lovely and quiet for the size, with plentiful affordable cabanas (Mayra was the best server ever) for those seeking shade. The beach was also great and we think it should be highlighted more—the photos online don’t do it justice! It is a bit rocky but perfect for an afternoon of sun and seashell walks.

Our favorite part were the spas and gyms :) Spatium is worth every penny for treatments of all kinds and Brio offers a lovely clean place for a seaside workout, with super kind staff.

In terms of getting on and off the property, there are many shuttles that are extremely affordable (110 pesos) and taxis available. We were a bit confused about the complaints associated with that. Getting around is also great, as the resort is in a jungle and has amazing walkways and vistas to explore. There is also a tram if you don’t like to walk (but seriously, the jungle walkways were such a wonderful and entirely unexpected part of this trip).

Overall, this resort was wonderful. It was the nicest vacation I’ve ever had. Thank you!

A very unique and fun family experience in Mexico . Everything here is 5* from food to service . There’s so much to do for both adult and kids . The staff is very very soft and friendly . All restaurants have great menu and food . So many pools to choose from . The highlight of the stay was the Jungla water park .

Located in Vidanta Riviera Maya, it is the most affordable level at the resort. Rooms are big, comfortable, equipped with full kitchenette. Board walks all over the place with direction signs to guide you. Enormous central pool next to the beach surrounded with restaurants and stores.

Amazing hotel. Service is above all else staff is very accommodating with whatever you may need. Pool bar and food service, lots of resturants to choose from as well as 24hr room service and a market. Pool never ending with beach access. No real night life but with all the other amenities you will be too tired to keep going.

Been here twice; can't wait for our next trip back! Wonderful staff. Great amenities. Great for kids. Very, very nice place for a vacation. Do expect to walk and plan on waiting on the shuttles. I feel like it takes more than one trip to get the hang of the available options and "hack" making the most of it all. Beach dining at Salum is not to be missed!

Lovely 5 star facility. Staying at Mayan Palace but suite seems to be a little old so not quite what I expected. Service is always excellent.

I loves this place. It was like living in a beautiful jungle with a magnificent pool and beautiful beaches. Everyone was so friendly and we were so happy with our vacation.

Not the best building inside Vidanta but the two bedroom suite is a good size. Perfect for a family of four. Can sleep 8 comfortably.

One of the best resorts I have been to excellent service.. Wonderful staff.. Just have the tips ready.. 😂

Everyone is so nice there and the staff is always willing to help. the maids Are there twice A-day once to clean and once to make sure everything is good for the evening? They leave you little candy kisses. This is one of my favorite places to go. Thank you again it was a wonderful day.
