Dental Care Playacar Dr. Nelson

Two times treated by Dr. Nelson and both amazing experiences! First time I had my wisdom tooth pulled because it got infected just before Christmas!! Dr. Nelson was the only doctor that wanted to attend me in Playa after calling at least 10 other offices. He was just leaving for vacations but he came into the office just to help me with my ordeal. He took out my wisdom tooth with great care, so much so that I got 0 inflammation and 0 pain since day 1 of recovery. He is really patient and extremely delicate. His daughter and his wife are also part of the team , super sweet and welcoming. He doesn't discriminate people and goes out of his way to accommodate all your needs, even drove us home from his office since we didn't come in car. Very attentive and probably the most humane treatment, made an otherwise horrifying experience into an actual great one, I can honestly say I have no fear of dentist anymore :)

Was in Playacar for vacation in February of 2024. After three days of suffering with a tooth, I made the call to Dr Nelson at 9pm on Sunday night and explained my issues. He and his daughter (also a dentist) picked me up from the resort within 30 minutes and brought me to his office which was a couple blocks down. Had a root canal and temp filling put in with no issues. Pain was gone the next morning. After returning to the states my normal dentist did X-rays and prepped for a crown. She states that Dr Nelson did an excellent job and gave him a A+ rating. Prices were less than my normal dentist with insurance. If you’re in the area and need something done, I would see Dr Nelson.

After a short search our minds were put to rest when we came across Dr Nelson. We visited Dr Nelson yesterday. I called and we was seen very quickly. Professional, clean and very informative. Fixed the problem and gave advice on prevention of the same problem. Conveniently situated 10/10 Gracias!!

Dr. Nelson was able to see my cousin at the very last minute for an emergency dental procedure and he was so nice. I highly recommend him to anyone coming here for vacation and have an emergency. Or an ordinary procedure. 5 star service.

My husband just saw Dr. Nelson for an emergency. We arrived here on Sunday afternoon for vacation. On the plane ride over my husband's wisdom tooth and nerve became extremely painful for him. It was terrible and I knew we had to do something! I did the chat with Dr. Nelson's office just hoping someone may respond and he did within 30 minutes he had picked us up at our resort in Playacar and had us to his office. He did x-rays, gave us our options and removed my husband's tooth. He and his staff were amazing and we are so grateful for them!

Excellent, reassuring, professional dentist . Did a superb job on my wife's emergency cap replacement saving the remainder of our vacation. Facility was modern and super clean. Great attention to detail explaining the whole procedure as he allowed me to sit in while attending to my wife. The price was excellent. No price gouging and was agreed upon before he started. Highly recommended.

Dr. Nelson deserves a statue! I called him because I was in a lot of pain because of a severe infection. We talked to other dentists and they wanted to do a treatment my dentist in Holland said was way too risky before flying.

I then called Dr. Nelson for help. He was on holiday but gave me the best advice. He was calm, friendly, very knowledgable and I was finally able to control the pain. Thanks to him I can take the planned flight home and continu the treatment back home. I would highly recommend him! He does what is best for his patients.

I was on vacation in Playa from the US. I lost my front crown attempting to surf. I found Dr Nelson on google and he was able to see me the same day for repairs! He is courteous, amicable and explained the procedure to me in perfect English. I recommend him highly.

Detailed and friendly service at a good price. Lots of attention to detail particularly during the COVID pandemic to make sure feel safe.

Ich musste aufgrund eines Notfalls zu Dr. Nelson. Sonntagmorgen angeschrieben und sofort Antwort bekommen. Er hat mir alles genau erklärt, hat sich wirklich Zeit genommen. Ohne Dr. Nelson wäre mein Urlaub wohl ziemlich schmerzhaft verlaufen. Daher nochmal ein ganz großes Dankeschön an Dr. Nelson und seine Tochter🙏 ¡ Muchas Gracias!

El doctor me ayudó en un momento de mucho dolor, atendiéndome con trato humano y mucho profesionalismo.
En mis vacaciones a Playa del Carmen, tuve un problema con dos de mis muelas que me tenían en un grito de dolor.
Por suerte justo enfrente del hotel está el consultorio del doctor, quien me atendió de emergencia y me ayudó a terminar mis vacaciones sin dolor.

Un gran equipo, el Doctor es un super profesional, muy paciente y con explicaciones claras, al igual que su hija, lo conocí por una emergencia que tuve, la cual desde un principio siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudarme y desde ese momento todos mis tratamientos han sido con él. 100% recomendado.

El mejor de todos los dentistas, sin duda alguna llevo años tratandome con el, vivo en cancun e intente con otros pero definitivamente NADIE como Nelson, super trato , super acertado , me salvó una endodoncia que me querian hacer , les prometo que no se van a arrepentir, 100% recomendado 🤍
