Sandos Caracol Eco Resort

This was such an amazing resort. The rooms were lovely, and I loved the abundance of native flora and fauna that was in the resort. The buffet was decent and easy enough for me to navigate with food allergies. The pool was clean and had lots of shade and seating. The staff were all lovely and super accommodating for the disabled child we were travelling with.

What an amazing resort! There’s so much to do for kids and families at this resort right now my kids are literally running around with a bunch of big giant bunny and feeding them!
The staff has been amazing and very accommodating. We’ve been friends with a few of them and the best part about an Eco resort like this is they don’t cut the forest down so there’s so many wild animals and wildlife that it’s incredible!

Children there however they were very secure and we struggled to have them leave because they were having so much fun. Don’t wait until last day like we did to take advantage of the kids club!! Thank you to Laura and Nathan for making my kids feel comfortable.

Kids club was fun for our kids. They likes how playful and attentive they where with them. Laura was informative and attentive to our questions and concerns. Put us at ease letting us know the kids be in good hands. We got to enjoy a couple of hours just chilling at the bar and took a nap before picking the kids back up to head for dinner. Recomend using this place to entertain the kids with others of same age.

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. Having the Black Bracelet give your extra perks that make the stay more convenient. Los Liros had good food and the servers were amazing. Manuel Carrillo was very attentive and offered great service everyday. The staff are very friendly and helpful, thank you guys very much. Will definitely come back.

We love the atmosphere of Sandos Caracol. The food, drink, ambiance and staff are excellent. Many of the staff are helpful in correcting and teaching as I learn Spanish, which I love and truly appreciate the interaction. During my families last two trips we had the pleasure of interacting with Isidro and I had to leave a review saying how helpful he was and incredibly friendly to our entire group of 17!

We are having an awesome vacation at Sandos! The entertainment by the pool is amazing! My kids are loving it. We always participate in the guessing game, and we even won! The team is great( Ivan and the other girl she did the face painting and was so nice!)

The resort was very nice, the rooms were comfortable and spacious! The food was delicious. The only complaint being that the Italian Restaurant service was not the greatest. Keep in mind we did have reservations very late, but they shouldn’t have allowed such late reservations if they were not willing to serve us as they would any other time slot. The wildlife and plant life was amazing to see and very refreshing.

The Romantic Boat ride we had was very lovely. With Prosecco and treats, Diego did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable and relaxed in the boat. With lovely music and tidbits of knowledge about the environment around us. We very much enjoyed the boat ride and would definitely do it again!

Finally, the beach was quite rocky. This was okay though because my fiancé and I really enjoyed the Adults Only pool. Definitely worth the extra money! Also gives you access to the nicely air conditioned club houses!

Overall a very good experience with only minor set backs in terms of service. Nothing too bad to make us not enjoy the stay!

We love this place. It’s so special for families! There’s something for everyone. We’d much rather be here with the nature and jungle, than in a concrete jungle like most resorts. Also, Elizabeth and Laura at The Kids Club were so wonderful with our kids. Our girls loved their time there ☺. On our last day, we also had Mari at Kids Club and she was so sweet! Our kids were in good hands there!

Erik was absolutely amazing. The romantic boat ride was super special and all included with the resort. Highly recommend!

Daniel at the farm with the kids was fantastic!! Our 21 month old toddler loved feeding the donkeys and pigs but LOVED the bunnies!! Thank you for the great experience Daniel!!!

The hotel is great for families with lots of fun activities for kids including water park with lots of slides. They also did face painting with Mar and Elizabeth (very talented painters), and feeding domestic animals with Eric and … The kids had a fantastic time!

Cesar was the most amazing guide for the sensory experience! It was so much more than I expected.
The whole experience at this resort was incredible. We will be back! Especially love the animals and nature!

Kids had the best time with Laura at kids club. She was great. They came out smiling ear to ear with masks on. I highly recommend!

Food was quite tasty, there was always food that you could go find, and the staff were pretty attentive.
Reservations are hard to find, and there very packed full!
My family and I have always travelled to this resort , I highly suggest this resort as it is very child friendly, solo, family or couple friendly.

Elizabeth and Mar at the kids club were so fantastic. Our daughter Mallory had so much fun with them she visited a few times in our week and she had a great time every visit. Thank you for the very special face painting!!

Zague and Alessandro were our wait staff at la riviera restaurant on our last night at the resort and they were fantastic. Super enthusiastic and friendly, kept the drinks coming and joked with both the adults and the kids best service we had on the trip. The resort was very kid friendly but had some adult only areas where you could get away. Lots of greenery at the resort really nice to be out of cities and in the trees a bit.

Amazing tour full of culture that I would have never encountered on my own. Many sites to see right on site at the resort. Erik and the other guide were great! Knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this Xcalacoco.

Coincidentally, Erik also took us on a romantic boat ride on our last day. His customer service is top notch.

We've had the best time at Sandos. My kids haven't had a chance to say that they are borer with all the activities and animals on site. Our room is spacious and clean. Laura and the kids club ladies are so good with the kids so we can relax for an hour or 2. They made pizzas and pirate outfits, planted trees, colored. I could go on. So much more then just sitting on a screen. Thank you sandos.

My husband and I did the romantic boat ride with Rebecca and it was absolutely fantastic! It was a great little adventure on our honeymoon and she made the experience phenomenal. I would highly recommend!
