Chedraui Playa del Carmen

Love this market! It has everything you need. It's a one-stop shop. You've got food, clothing, toys, personal hygiene, and more. Don't pay twice the price at your hotel for things. Sunscreen is half the cost here. Snorkel gear is about $13. You can even pick up a motorcycle or scooter. There is ample parking and also some other shops inside the entrance of Chedraui.

This is the best branch from all three Chedraui. It has a wide range fresh fruits and vegetables that are always in good condition.
They also have other products including clothing, electronics, and home goods in addition to groceries.

The prices are generally competitive, and the store is clean and organized. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Chedraui!

Wow! From pastries, groceries, outdoor furniture, electronics everything is well organized. The staff looked properly dressed to handle and serve food. Nice shaded parking area and easy to find. Muy buena tienda!

One of the best supermarket in town. A lot more walkable and organizing than nearby Walmart. Meat and seafood are fresh. It has a little ceviche bar which would offer make to order ceviche. Prices for toys and Souvenir is more Expensive than Walmart though

Everything you need and great prices! If you need fresh produce, clothing, bathroom and kitchen products, electronics, they have everything!

This is my favorite Chedraui in Mexico since it has an expanded deli (fresh made sandwiches and a hot deli) and a bakery that also includes pastries.

Big supermarket in Playa del Carmen. There are a lot of fruits, vegetables and other goods, including souvenirs which much cheaper than on promenade

Excellent section for imported items however I am not sure why they continue to order low fat coconut milk as nobody purchases it. Coconut milk is not meant to be low fat or non-fat. It is a full fat cooking or consuming product. That is why there are always many many cans wasted and left over. It is better for the buyer of that section the international section, to only purchase the green cans. However this is a great location again they have great imports however I suggest they come up with a plan for checking people out faster at night at the cashier because the lines go all the way down the food aisle and nobody has time for that

Awesome Super Super market got everything you need, food, drinks, candy, household stuff, motorcycles and pocket knives, EVERYTHING lol. Conveniently located off of the colectivo route, perfect place for travelers. Huge panadería right inside along with other little shops.

One of my favorites stores. Rarely they lack what I’m looking for. Asian shelfs have full variety of oriental flavors that satisfies me enough. Besides that they have not bad collection of wines and even cigars

Good spot yo get all of your groceries they have everything that you would get in Mexico city with some American brands for example cereal frosted flakes, Cheerios etc definitely the first stop after hotel if you will be eating in on Playacar

Really great store! You’ll find everything you need. And it’s really different from the mega or Walmart if those are the store you normally go. Don’t forget to grab some cake - it’s delicious

Very satisfied with this Chedraui location for the most part. I like going first thing in the morning and it is never too busy or crowded. It is a very large store that sells literally, one can say, everything. My main focus, however, is their fruit and vegetable section, which is excellent because it has almost everything one would want laid out in an effectively compact, area that is not overly and unnecessarily spread out like the "too big for its own good" Soriana across the street. There are also some organic fruit and veg options too, which should be a given in a good grocery store these days. The main aisles have an excellent selection of local and imported goods, as well as some "natural" and "organic" foods and sections. Of course, many of the specialty or imported items are way over-priced but if someone wants something badly at least the choice is there. The bakery section, as with every Chedraui, needs some improvement as "healthy bread" options basically do not exist. All of their breads and baked goods are based on white refined flours, sugars, and unhealthy fats. Overall, the store is clean and staff are okay, not the most helpful, but not bad either. At the register, of course, as with any other store, it is essential to look at the prices that get rung up as it is common that the price on the shelf is not the price at the register. They do have lots of price checker machines throughout the store that can also help to know what to expect. Ultimately, I am super grateful that I have a Chedraui in the area to enjoy as they are by far my favorite chain of grocery stores in Mexico.

excellent customer service especially for gringos. When I was going to pay more for a product they warned me and when I left something I check out they followed after me to deliver it. Highly recommended.
