Ocean Riviera Paradise

My husband and I stayed at this resort for the second time to celebrate our anniversary. We were here 3 years ago. We enjoyed our stay just as much as the first! We again booked the Privilege package and very much appreciated the friendly staff. We cannot say enough good things about Carlos. He made sure our trip was perfect and really went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience. We loved everything from the romantic rose petal bubble jacuzzi and champagne to the animal shaped towels in our clean room every morning. To anyone new traveling to this resort, book your dinner reservations early, as it can sometimes be hard to get in (although the buffet is always open and there are some other options for quick food). I recommend the Privilege package that comes with really great service. We also really enjoyed a long conversation with the bartender Jack at the sports bar :) Again, Carlos and the staff were just amazing and friendly.

The Privilege breakfast was a fantastic way to start our day! Beatriz greeted us every morning with a huge smile and excellent service. Our servers Miguel and Rodriguez and actually every server in here was amazing!!! The food and the presentation of the food was excellent. We have never had a better experience at a restaurant.

Most amazing place on earth! love Fernando and Celeste! Also attended the Privilege Lounge Dinner and Alexis was amazing. He did a mini show where he made a pasta in front of us at our table! Amazing service, very nice staff! We also went to the Privilege Lounge Breakfast everyday and had a fantastic experience, Beatriz, Carlos and Sergio treated us so well and took great care of us! We also had Lily as our butler and never had to worry about a thing. She had exactly what reservations we wanted and always confirmed them along with always checking on us and a number of other things! Absolutely amazing staff!

Jose was amazing at Lacaranda. Great service, very patient and attentive. Probably the best restaurant on the property.

However the service from the hotel staff was horrible. Fours nights in a row we called guest services to restock our mini bar with Pepsi zero and they claimed the request was sent over and they never got to it. We were guaranteed by Noe/Noel that the request would be fulfilled and it wasn’t.

They didn’t restock our wash clothes. The jacuzzi took forever to fill up, not worth it.

We even complained upon checking out and the gentleman that checked us out did not even acknowledge our issue. He acted as if we hadn’t said anything when he asked about our stay. Overall, staff is tip hungry and not friendly.

Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to have a destination wedding in the Cancún area! The Wedding Team, especially our wedding coordinator, Willis, went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. I was nervous not being able to meet the team in person until the week of our wedding but they are true experts when it comes to wedding planning. Willis kept both me and my husband at ease the entire day, allowing us to focus on enjoying ourselves. Can’t thank them enough!

I ate at the Italian restaurant in Ocean Riviera Paradise a few times over my stay and have to say the food was excellent. It came out quick, tasted great and was as beautiful to look at! Our server Jose was incredible! By far the best service we got over our 11 days at the resort was with him! We never sat with an empty glass, he was quick to clear finished plates and also helped us work on our Spanish pronunciation. I wish every restaurant at the resort had a Jose!

We just had dinner at La Terraza and had a wonderful time. Gabriel was so welcoming when we arrived, Jose was extremely attentive throughout the service and Ulises was an excellent host, entertaining us throughout the meal. Highly recommend paying them a visit when you are at the resort.

Manuel was our breakfast server. Service was fast and friendly. We appreciated that they asked more than once if there were any food allergies. Breakfast was delicious! Portions are generous. We are impressed.

Great food and great location within the resort(steps away from our room which is perfect when we wanted to grab a quick snack or drink) We were served a few times by Fidel Alexis and his service was spectacular. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we don’t speak very good Spanish. See you again soon.

Our first time here, and we loved it!! It's clean, the staff are friendly and always smiling. Antonio, the head butler, was simply the best. He was always quick to respond to my messages, always made sure to go out of his way to speak to us. Getting our reservations in the restaurants was easy with him. Melanie, the privilege pool concierge, was absolutely hands down the most amazing person ever. She was wonderful to talk to every day and made sure we were having a great time. She is fantastic at her job, so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for our daily chats! At the El Beso pool, Guillermo was great, always watching to see when we needed the next drink and so friendly. He never skipped a beat to make sure we had a drink and food from the poolside restaurant. At the beach, Rosa made sure the privilege section ran smoothly and she worked so hard. She was very friendly and she keeps an eye on chairs for when we first got to the section the chairs were all gone except for the little wooden ones but as soon as two came available she had us moved in no time. Irene at the lobby bar was fantastic. She also took great care of us. She was fun to chat with, and once she knew what we were drinking, we never had to tell her again. When it comes to the food we only had one complaint and that was at the Steak House, I do not recommend eating there, it was the worst steaks we've ever had and they really try to push you to buy a bottle of wine and when you don't the waitress was not that friendly. Blue Moon and Route 66 were fantastic to eat at, and room service was quick and good. We definitely recommend going privilege for ease and comfort. It's also a very accessible hotel. The beach was great, the sand was very soft and not rocky at all. We look forward to returning next year.

Great service great food AAA! Spoke with Ivan and was very nice and server was Manuel did an awesome job! Wish they open sooner than 1230pm though and more drink options is a + but not a requirement if I were to improve anything. Overall great food and service 🥰

The resort is beautiful and we always have a wonderful time. We have been coming here since 2018. Antonio and Lily are the absolute best in providing attentive, enthusiastic and responsive service. They make it a point to check on their guests every day to see if anything is needed. I enjoy some of the restaurants more than others but never had a bad experience. Looking forward to our stay this winter!

Is it possible to give 5+ stars? This resort is a dream! I recently (January 2024) had my wedding here. Pablo was my wedding coordinator and he executed everything so perfectly and brought my vision to life. I am a foodie and the wedding reception meal was like fine dining. My family of four upgraded to the massive privilege master suite. Service and food in the privilege lounge were top notch. Buffet was amazing, I don’t know how an all inclusive resort managed to cook authentic tasting East Indian food in their buffet but they did. We had 51 guests stay in this resorts (mix of young kids and adults)… and there was so much to do for all ages! What an amazing week at a beautiful resort. Thank you ORP!

This was my first all inclusive resort experience. Every thing was amazing! My wife and I truly enjoyed ourselves. We had one problem where we were not informed that maintenance needed doing some work on our balcony. One of the managers, Maritza was very helpful on getting us another room so that we could have privacy and to continue to enjoy our stay.

Alexis, Fidel and Moises served us an amazing dinner, great pasta show amazing service, food was great and drinks were great. 5 stars!!!
Beatriz and Carlos were always very attentive and friendly and we loved seeing them every morning for breakfast!!!!
Sergio was also great when he would take care of us.
Lilly our butler is always amazing and we request her when we return each visit.

We had an amazing time at all of the restaurants. We had a great experience at La Terraza for dinner. Ulises, max, and Cap. Gabriel gave us incredible service and made it all the better! The food was amazing and made right in front of us. I would highly recommend.

Such a great resort. My wife and I came to celebrate our honeymoon. All the restaurants had great food and we enjoyed all the pools. The resort is very clean and there were many different options for food and entertainment. Mateo and Daniel were the best bartender duo at Eden’s pool. Always had drinks ready for us. We also enjoyed our nights at Piano Bar and singing karaoke with Axel. Juan was also an amazing bartender and knew our go to order after the first night. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an all inclusive in Mexico.

Just left from a wonderful time at the resort. While all employees were great we interacted with a few people that really stood out. Special thanks to Hector, Alex and Miguel at the privilege swim up bar who kept the drinks and shots coming. Great guys to chat with too. Angel at the Privilege Lounge and Jordan at Pez Vela for lunch were amazing with drink and food recommendations. Rigoberto always great with the hook up for the massages and of course the wonderful staff at the spa. I feel I missed some names like I mentioned all staff was great, friendly and attentive. This is our 3rd time here and will definitely be back.

Fantastic evening in the privilege lounge with Arturo, Moises, Cesar, and Alexis. The meal made my whole week! Every time I was in the lobby bar Cecilia was always very nice and helpful. Wonderful time in the Blue Moon restaurant with Esteban and Rosemary.
