This is a great Walmart! As you enter there is an ice cream stand. They have a wonderful fruits and vegetables section and a sushi section. The cafe when you first enter the store needs improved. They had sandwiches on display but had none to offer when I wanted to order one.

Very quiet little place to get away. Beautiful property right on the Laguna. It's a work in progress, but it's underway.

This is a very good place to stock up on groceries while staying in Playa del Carmen. You will find all the brands from America 🇺🇸 and everything is clean 🧼 and organized.

You can get a taxi back to your place from the parking garage.

Came here to get cash from ATMs because read on TripAdvisor that this is a reliable place. The Walmart had 3 ATMs: Santander, BBVA and Citibanamex. Tried Santander first and it didn’t allow to get cash out. The BBVA wanted to charge me $174 Mexican to withdraw the $1,000 Mexican. Finally went with Citibanamex that charged $30 Mexican to withdraw $1,000 Mexican.

Good place to get anything you need souvenirs groceries diapers shoes clothing electronics anything just like Walmart at home but better because the produce is fresher

Staying at the resorts in Playa Del Carmen (Riu Playacar) and needed some essentials. Taxis are available for a flat rate of 200mx pesos each way (400 total) for up to four people. You have to catch a cab back to the resort from the Walmart underground parking lot to get that rate.
On a cooler day, the walk would take about 45 minutes, so not too bad.
This is a big Walmart with everything you'd need. Friendly service and not too busy on a Saturday afternoon.
There are many places in the area to visit - since you've already paid for the ride, you may as well get your money's worth.
Across the street, to the left of the Walmart is the City Hall. it's a big space with two playgrounds for the kids to enjoy.
In the area, there are also shops and restaurants, authentic and not super touristy.
This Walmart is a great spot for tourists to get souvenirs - much, much less expensive here (and a much wider selection) than at the hotel gift shops or the airport.

Great selection of everything. Even better bakery & liquor section than back here in Canada.

Huge Wal-Mart, the place to go for locals and tourists alike to save money on everything, including souvenirs and hard liquor. Easy to access with huge parking.

Good place to shop price are normal, considering other place over charge the tourists ,I highly recommend take your time and go to Walmart

We’re stopping for getting food when we got to our Airbnb. In comparison to all of the other spots that we saw, this Walmart is extremely clean and freshly stocked with fruits and vegetables. This store, just like every other Walmart that we’ve been to in Canada and the US has everything you need under one roof! Go Walmart!

It had everything I was looking for as usual. I like the security guards at the door. It was conveniently located and had a nice café.

Great prices. They sell scooters! My shoes broke the first day in PDC so went here and bought some sandals for 3 USD.

Everything you could ask from a Walmart. Good vegetable and fruit selection along with a bakery, dry food, cold and frozen. Also nice selection of liquor, wine and beer- including Artisanal beers. Parking has a tendency to be quite full. We usually walk there. Don't forget a grocery bag or you'll have to buy one. This place will get very busy, but it usually moves pretty fast at the registers.

Everything was fresh and well displayed. Staff were friendly and tried their best with a language barrier.

today going to buy new swimming trunks and shoes for swimming pdc playas have lots of rocks

The Walmart is in the 2nd Floor. The first floor is the covered garage. There is a pharmacy. The neighborhood around it also features a lot. You can find anything you need plus groceries

It was my first time in this chain of stores. The prices are the same as in Poland, but for bargain hunters the place is very nice. A very large number of souvenirs, low prices, not what on the stalls. It is worth going for the souvenirs themselves because there is a large selection of them, from Mayan calendars to magnets and gems. You must certainly praise the security guard guarding the entrance to the store, everyone is measured with the temperature and you have to keep a distance from each other, not what in Poland that everyone stands and blows both in the face with a mask on his chin. They take care of the virus not spreading very well.

Absolutely massive Walmart with pretty much everything under the sun here.

We came on a Sunday 1700 and it wasn’t too busy at all for a weekend.

They have all groceries, fresh and canned foods, and huge ranges of each product in my opinion. In the UK we don’t have this much choice. Shelves were very well stocked and nothing seemed to be missing.

They also have a lot of home wares, garden, kids toys, clothes, electronics, a pharmacy, furniture - the list goes on!

They also have a huge holiday shop with snorkels, sun cream, bikinis swimwear, goggles and towels.

They have self checkouts which we used, they can be used in English and we used European cards no problem. There’s also an assistant that stands by the checkouts to help you too.

Overall very impressed with the range and cleanliness of it.
