Trust the reviews, this food is seriously good!

As you’ll find on many of the reviews, this is some of the best pasta in Rome. It’s constantly crowded by the locals and can be hard to get a table, which should tell you a lot. Phenomenal sauces, hand made pastas, delicious meats and potatoes - incredible all around. You will NOT be disappointed in your meal.

Only issue I could give is the service. Look…we’re tourists. It’s a place that definitely seems more interested in serving the locals. Every other table around us was speaking Italian and getting grade-A service with the staff. Can’t say we had the same experience as it definitely felt like they didn’t care much about our table. I don’t necessarily fault them for this, in my opinion, it is what it is. So take the service reviews with a small grain of salt salt.

“Felice” was really a “happy” discovery in Rome. Cozy and warm place, very good service (they’re so kind and with all attention to help) and a WONDERFUL FOOD (ask anything and you’ll not regret. My suggestion is the Carbonara. And, do not forget to ask the Tiramisù for dessert, please). It’s important to make a reservation before, because the restaurant is always full. Worthy the visit for all reasons, the flavors of Italy is in every detail, for sure.

We had a great lunch here (reservation is a must), the food, drinks and dessert were all excellent.
Probably the staff was having a not so good day, they were somehow tense and chaotic (3 or 4 different waiters were asking us if we want bread at Cacio e Pepe) and not particularly friendly either. But they were moving quick, food and drinks were brought to the table fast, same the dessert.

Please book in advance, Felice a Testaccio is busy and there's good reason for it.
We ended up going for lunch, because we couldn't get a table for dinner. We were not disappointed.
We dined outside and were well taken care of by the wonderful service.
The food was delectable, the meatballs wrapped in Zucchini were delicious and everything was very well presented.
Hopefully, on our next trip to Rome, I'll manage to get an evening booking.

Everything was impeccable, food, service, atmosphere.
This is a must stop in Rome, but you need to book well ahead of time.
The menu has a wide array of choices. No fish available. Not ideal for food allergies, the traditional cuisine has almost any allergen you can think of.

Authentic Roman cuisine at its finest! The freshly made pasta was an absolute delight, prepared to perfection. Don't miss out on the artichokes – they are cooked in a way that must be tasted to be believed. The friendly staff added to the warm atmosphere. Highly recommended for a true Roman culinary experience.

A short walk from Trastevere you’ll find Felice a Testaccio. The food is delicious and the portions big! We arrived at 1930 and managed to get a table, but I would recommend making a booking.

What a great dinner! I made reservations in advance and my wife and I were able to walk in and get our table right away. We were offered bread which cost extra, but paired well with our meal and was well worth it, especially with the antipasti we got, the Buffalo mozzarella. We were told this place was known for its cacio e pepe, and we were not disappointed! For our secondi, the waiter recommended a cut of steak they had as a special, and it was perfectly prepared! Almost wish we had more time in Rome so we could sample some more dishes.

Visited on a wednesday lunchtime, I guess lucky I was given a table withòut reservation. Buzzy, busy place. Had the carciofo, tonnarello cacio e pepe and the beef steak. Everything came out in a timely manner. Recommended!

One of the best restaurants in Rome. Traditional Italian cuisine and nice atmosphere. It’s better to make a reservation in advance (via their website), but during the winter you can try your luck without reservation.
I totally recommend tonarelli caccio e peppe, they are the best in whole Italy. Others must-try are abbacchio and tiramisu. 😍
Prices are also reasonable, except for Cesanese for 40€ which is a bit too much 🌝

Located slightly off the beaten path, this hidden gem in Testaccio manages to attract a diverse crowd, including both locals and tourists.
After hearing rave reviews, I couldn't resist ordering their signature dish, the Cacio e Pepe. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the combination of creamy pecorino cheese and flavorful black pepper created a heavenly symphony of flavors. Every bite was a delight, and I savored each mouthful.
The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable.
The only drawback is that the restaurant has lost its authenticity, however, its popularity among tourists is a testament to its reputation for serving outstanding dishes that capture the essence of Roman cuisine.

Cacio e Pepe were amazing and the parmigiana di melanzane is also 100% recommended!
Service is unfortunately not the best but we didn’t had any issues with them.

A Roman establishment with long-standing tradition, and for good reason! Start with slow-cooked Artichoke, and for pasta, Cacio e Pepe, Ravioli and Carbonara are all spectacular. Portions here are large, and food arrives quickly.
