An absolute delight of a place, very very busy, you will have to wait at peak times, but completely worth it!
Delicious food, delightful house red, great atmosphere and on street dining.

Absolutely huge portion sizes for the amount you are paying! We had 3 courses, a bottle of wine, coffees, limoncello for €120 for 2 people, and spent a leisurely almost 3 hours dining and watching the world go by.

We were seated very nicely by the staff. The waiter called Bryan communicated very well and made us feel very comfortable. The food was excellent. The only issue was that the mozzarella fries came cold, we asked if we could get it warm and Bryan helped us with the small issue. I would recommend it for everyone if you want to eat good food in trastevere.

Incredible food from top to bottom. The house wine was incredible. Service was fantastic; really enjoyed our waiter, Stefano, who was very attentive & helpful! Highly recommend the tiramisu!

I came here for my birthday dinner and came back the next day, not only for the food that was amazing (specially the carbonara) but also for the place and mostly for the attention, specially from Stefano that make us feel so comfortable and well attended. I highly recommended, and for sure will be back again.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food this is the place to go. Everything is amazing! My son is a foodie and a snob but he gave their pizza 11/10! If you are visiting this place on the weekends, go early L otherwise you will find a long queue!

I had the best Quattro formaggi pizza in my life just right here. Every cheese in the pizza was tasty and completely different than in the Czech Republic. Although I am not a wine drinker, I believe the wine we had was of good quality.
Although there were many people awaiting a table outside, I found plenty of empty tables downstairs. It's possible that there were not enough staff members to serve all the guests.

We ordered an artichoke as a starter and some mains. The oxtail was tender and juicy. We also asked for a carbonara to be made with tonarelli noodles instead of the traditional rigatoni and we got what we wanted. There may be cheaper restaurants around that serves bigger portions but I wouldn't say this restaurant is particularly expensive or stingy in portion.

I ordered beef stew and it was amazing! It felt like my childhood. We have similar dish in Iran and OMG I loved this dish. It comes with a vegetables which was a unique combination for me. Service and atmosphere was also great.

My family loved this place. My son was looking for a lasagna and he found the perfect one for his quest. The atmosphere was so friendly, with the waitress and my son tried his Italian with a waitress. The serving speed was absolutely rapid, and the food was out of this world. When we left, the waitress held my son up Ang gave him 5 lollipops. Great food, great service, 5 stars.

Long line but moved fast. Pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had and drinks were tasty. Would definitely go back!

This was such a great experience! The staff just look like they’re having so much fun while working there, which just gave us such great vibes. Everyone was so so helpful and friendly.

The food was amazing. LOVE. If you come here you have to have their tiramisu, it’s such a generous serving and it’s very well made. Not too boozy, and pretty light.

Me and my husband had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The food was very good and Stefano, our waiter, was really nice and helpful. If you are looking for a great italian culinary experience and friendly vibes then you should definitely try Otello.

My boyfriend loves this place and has been every time he’s visited Rome. Went on our first night there together and loved it. Food was amazing and our server Mark was fabulous! Highlights were the aperol spritz, carbonara, and gnocchi!

So far the best food we had in Rome! The lasagna & roasted lamb were both amazing!!!! We also ordered a side (mixed salad) and one desert. But it came out like €71 for two people. Amazing good, good price! Recommended!!!

My husband & I went here based on a recommendation from a friend. There was a quick wait and we were easily able to sit outside which was great. We got the fried artichoke, four cheese gnocchi, and cacio e pepe, along with some drinks and oh my goodness so good! Our server Stefano was also phenomenal in teaching us some Italian while we were ordering so that was fun. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

On our final day in Rome, we made a wise decision to dine at Otello based on its outstanding reviews on Google. And we were not disappointed. The restaurant proved to be a remarkable establishment, boasting an excellent ambiance and an incredibly friendly and competent staff. Our waitress, Laura, deserves special recognition for her exceptional service. She not only guided me in selecting the perfect dishes but also ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The food itself surpassed our expectations, with each bite being a delightful fusion of flavors. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Laura for her recommendations and impeccable service. We absolutely adored the place, and if the opportunity presents itself for us to return to Rome, visiting Otello will be at the top of our list.

Amazing food and incredible friendly service! The focaccia was fresh and incredibly tasty, the carbonara was an explosion of flavors and our waiter Bryan was friendly and very attentive! Definitely recommend and I will be back!

Had dinner here on our last night in Italy and it was one of our favourites! The tonnarello and meatball pasta was delicious, and the tiramisu was to die for! Close runner ups were the carbonara and the beef escalope. Shout out to Bryan for the great service!

The food here is fantastic. Plenty of locals as well as tourists dine here. We were served by Andrea who was great! He always had a big smile. We had a variety of pasta and the portions were big. The tiramisu was also great. Would recommend you visit here at least once. They don't take bookings here so be prepared to queue.
