Good selection of products, average prices. You can find fresh food and fruits, sweets, cosmetics, raw meat and other stuff..

Clean, well organised shop with loads of choice. Fresh produce and plenty of options for vegans as a bonus.

The people working there were also really helpful in doing the checkout. They helped select the bags, payment options, and receipt options for us. I recommend this place to any foreigners especially Americans visiting Iceland.

This is where you get the real-deal stuff. I recommend the fish jerky and the dairy options personally because we bought a lot of skyr yogurt when we visited here.

I never thought I'd love a grocery store, but here I am writing about one. We planned a backpacking trip during our time in Iceland and stopped at Kronan for supplies - snacks, dehydrated foods, water, etc. I was pleased with the selection of pre-made sandwiches and other staples such as Knorr. I kept coming back to various other Kronan's for gifts to bring home like Iceland chocolates and candies. Fast self-checkout and helpful staff.

They had several carts to choose from, including ones that little ones can take around. On a normal day this would be very welcome, but the day after a long trip was a bit much for my 3 year old. He had a meltdown. If you own the establishment, or were working there today, I'm truly sorry 🙏. I ended up leaving but my partner found everything she needed and came back soon after us.

Side note, a local leant out of a 2nd story window to make sure my toddler was ok as he was shrieking on the way home on his tantrum. The people are quite nice here.. Or that is my first impression anyways.

Great grocery store with lots to pick from! We stopped in for groceries to stock our vacation AirB&B house and was happy to find clearly labeled things including lots of vegan products!

Easy to find. Easy to navigate around the store. Got everything we needed. We were there every night. Cheaper than the rip off places. Beware, card only. However, press the UK or US flag and it even gives you an equivalent in currency

Great local supermarket that provided everything needed for our apartment meals that started each day of our vacation. Just 5 minute walk from our apartment, making it very convenient. Pricing is high here, but quality is superb

If you’re in town for more than a few days, go here! Good local grocer for quick eats and also meal parts. Got some good stuff to make a good breakfast (eggs, potatoes, cheese, bacon) before an early trek.

Budget supermarket. Food is quiet expensive on Iceland though.

Great self service grocery store, with a great selection of standard groceries, but also a lot of ready made food and sandwiches. Great prices for Reykjavik as well, so highly recommended if you're not splurging out on restaurants for all your meals.
