Excellent, Location, right outside bus stop 12. Rooms, immaculate comfortable, beds. Bathroom includes a bath and a shower which is nice. Room service, massive portions. Really good breakfast buffet, always looked immaculate. Recommended.

Hotel was very nice. We had to stay here for one night due to our cancelled flight, good for one / two nights and in a good place but wouldn’t stay here any longer (the breakfast looked amazing) I loved the shower! Small room though

Had an outstanding honeymoon at this hotel. We had complimentary cakes and fruit with a card delivered to our room in congratulations of our wedding. The staff were all amazing across the hotel. Room were immaculate with great facilities. Would 100% stay here again when visiting Iceland.

Great location. Beautiful views out over the water. Very basic Northern/Scandinavian/Icelandic room decor but beds were very comfortable. Our room had a tiny issue upon checking in but was rectified immediately. We received a beautiful platter as an anniversary gift by one of the receptionists. Everyone is very nice and helpful when it comes to check in and ordering bus transfers. We will be back

The hotel was undeniably beautiful, offering a comfortable and accommodating experience. However, there were some issues with hot water, leading to an "Icelandic cold" shower on two out of four mornings. Despite this setback, the overall experience was exceptional. The breakfast was divine, featuring a variety of foods from full English breakfast to continental options and various fish choices. The reception service was outstanding, making it a place I would gladly return to anytime. Thank you, Fosshotel, for a delightful stay, and I look forward to the possibility of returning in the future!

Had a lovely stay here, we stayed on the 8th floor with Tower view, nice views. Clean rooms, nice quiet room. Room service is available as often as you want but needs to be requested. Convenient location. Really nice.

Clean room, comfortable bed, heated bathroom floor and towel racks..ahhhhh!
Excellent service in both the hotel and restaurant...Justyna, behind the desk, got us what we needed immediately and a recommendation for lunch that was superb, she was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Reykjavik. The restaurant served an outstanding breakfast every morning that allowed for every taste and diet. The lox and marinated herring were the best my husband and I had ever had. The bacon was perfectly cooked every morning, and the fresh pineapple and cantaloupe were deliciously ripe and sweet. This Foss was conveniently located...we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to explore!

This is a fantastic Hotel situated very very just east of the city center, the room were very clean, the beds extremely comfortable, and the breakfast is incredible - many options and all very tasty!
The staff are also attentive and friendly
The "Beer Garden" Pub in the back is also a must, very cosy with plenty of drinks on tap!

A great little hotel, ideal situated close enough to town but in a quiet area. The rooms are basic but clean, tidy and very warm. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. All in all a decent place to stay.

I was given a room with twin beds but the additional lock on the door was broken. Generally, Iceland is a safe place but never take things for granted.

The room was small but manageable. Toilet was good with bathtub and and shower place. Location was great as it was near the bus stop and near amenities as well.

Stayed here two nights. Once at the beginning and the other at the end of our trip. Great location not far from the waterfront, downtown shopping and restaurants. Breakfast each morning was amazing with so many options. We were even surprised the first night with a room upgrade to a suite. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in Reykjavík.

Excellent business hotel. Bit crowded, so I would not stay here for holidays. They have everything though including a gym with great facilities. Service and breakfast is excellent and the rooms are great as well. No complaints.

When we arrived at this hotel we were checked in by the lovely Justyna who couldn't be more helpful. She even noted it was our anniversary and personally delivered a bespoke congratulations gift to our room. But that wasnt where the support ended - when our tour that was booked externally didn't pick us up, she pulled out all the stops and phoned around to find us a new tour on the same day (no easy feat). She is a credit to this hotel. Thank you Justyna!

This is a great hotel near the centre of Reykjavík within walking distance of great restaurants and sights. Food is good quality and consistently nice tasting. It is worth the extra money for the view from tower. Also, we thoroughly enjoyed the beer garden!

We certainly will be back!

One of the few americanized hotels in the city, which is what we were looking for. Breakfast buffet was great, beds comfortable, the view from the top floors is amazing. I would definitely stay again here.

We enjoyed our stay, friendly staff and rooms were clean. Great options for restaurants as well. We did have to park our rental in the street but it was easy to find free parking over night.

We had a great time at the Fosshotel. The reception team were superb. The staff at the front desk were always very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We had a few issues with our room but they were dealt with very professionally by the team and their friendliness and helpfulness really made our stay. The food, service and staff in the restaurant were also excellent.

Lovely people - a credit to the hotel and to Iceland!

Hotel, and much more importantly the staff, were excellent!

This hotel made for a brilliant first night in Iceland! Nice room, very comfortable bedding, great staff, and SPECTACULAR breakfast buffet!

Very walkable location too; I arrived on the morning of Yom Kippur and the hotel was only a 15 minute walk to the Chabad House of Iceland!
