A classic option when you go to Reykjavik! The queue is always long but it’s definitely worth it . You definitely go back for more hot dogs . I would recommend this place and you should get one with everything or one with just mustard like Bill Clinton! There are multiple locations around the city and in the airport so you will easily find one to try it.

In Reykjavik, Iceland, a little stand serves up something special—amazing lamb dogs. Trust me, you'll want to go all out and get it with the works.

At first, I was skeptical. I'm not the biggest fan of mustard or onions, but I decided to dive in and try one with everything. And boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The crunchy onions hiding under the hot dog added the perfect crunch to each bite. The combination of sauces was spot-on, creating a harmonious flavor profile.

I arrived around 10 pm and was relieved to find no lines (though I've heard they can get pretty long during peak hours). Overall, it was a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations. I'd have it again and highly recommend giving it a try! #Reykjavik #Iceland #lambdogs #foodie

The original must try Iceland hotdog. Short line late at night. Booth is manned by one person and she was very efficient. Everyone must try this hot dog. Snap to the outside, juicy inside, mustard adds great taste. Highly recommended!

I went here on the opening night and really enjoyed the hot dog. I asked a few Americans that were around what they thought and the were impressed. Mine and the opinions I asked were all having the full works on it. That’s the way to go. I loved it so much that I had one again straight away and ate 4 in the t days there. You can get these at the airport too. I went past 2 after security and there was one on arrival. Best hot dog I’ve had and take that from me and some fussy American tourists too.

Located in the heart of Reykjavik downtown, this is the first place we went when we arrived in the city around 11:30pm. It’s one of the rare places that is open late night. We had no lines. Got our hot dogs in seconds.

The lamb sausage, mixed with all the topping ketchup, mustard, fried and chopped onions makes an outstanding combo. I had two of them on the spot.

During the day, sometimes the line gets long and takes few minutes to get to the window.

Great Icelandic street food hotdogs. Get it with everything on it. The crunchy onions give it a nice added texture and the mustard is a bit sweet and tangy. The hot dogs themselves taste quite lamb-y as one would expect since they are made of lamb. Go!!! It is so good!

I went to check out what all the hype was about Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur in Reykjavik, Iceland, and let me tell you, the hype about their famous hotdogs is absolutely justified! My family and I decided to swing by and share one of their hotdogs, and it was worth the visit.

The crunchy onion spread added such a delightful texture and flavor to the hotdog that I couldn't get enough of. And then there's the Icelandic mustard – it's unlike any mustard I've ever tasted. It's a unique twist that elevates the entire experience. Don't miss out on this tasty experience when you're in Reykjavik!

My wife and I stopped here to share a hot dog after dinner just to have a taste and we are so glad we did! The crunchy onion spread was delicious, the Icelandic mustard was not what you’d expect of mustard, and it was very affordable. Great flavors, so good we stopped by again for lunch another day.

They had this stand since 1937 , it was 5 meters stand and still is, some Icelandic guy told me this stand brings lots of memories to them and its kinda nostalgic from childhood, they have only one kind of hotdog 🌭 and its Lamb hotdog from very unique Icelandic sheeps plus two kinda sauce and onions, people can stand outside easily and eat these delicious hotdogs, they have also coca cola. Overall its a must when you are in Reykjavik

It's beyond me why you wouldn't make this your first stop in Reykjavik! This is an iconic Icelandic food, any time of the day or night. While the tourists might line up, you can be sure the locals are also in line. The hot dogs are unique in taste, and you'll become addicted!

I loved this hot dog, and I’m really not a fan of hot dogs in general. It’s sweet, savory, and crunchy. Stopped by here 3 times during my visit.

Everybody says to eat a hot dog when in Iceland. I did so, several times. As recommended, I had it with everything: fried onions, ketchup, mayo, and mustard. The hot dogs are made with lamb. It was delicious!

I was supposed to go to Baejarins Beztu Pylsur on my food tour but it is so popular that we had to skip it but they gave us tickets to go at a later time.

I highly recommend to check it out because the hot dogs are so delicious and it is a staple in Reykjavik.

I went on a walk later that evening and I decided to stop there for dinner. I got two hot dogs and a coke and they are extremely tasty.

This a must stop when you are in Reykjavik and you are able to eat them while standing at one of the tables near the hot dog stand.

Best hot dogs that I have ever had (there is a reason why celebrities love this place). My wife and I ate there 4 times while in Iceland. The food is tasty, cheap and quick. Do not miss a visit to Reykjavik without it!
