Cracking bar to visit. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff, good local beer and cocktails. Good spot if you want to watch sports. We were able to watch the Six Nations rugby and premier league football there. The food was excellent, and burgers were phenomenal. Prices were very affordable, and staff couldn't be nicer. We had 3 visits to the premises. I would recommend you book a seat if there is a sports match on can get very busy. Hopping at night with happy hour bar open. Toilets 🚻 clean and tidy highly recommend

I love almost all their drinks. It was sooooo good. The snack that they have was also great. Me and my boyfriend drink like 6 glasses drinks in total and all was great. The price is okay, not too expensive for Iceland I think. Probably will come here again when I visit Iceland next time

I came here a couple or years ago on my first visit to Iceland. I remembered it being fun and good value, with tasty food. This time around, I was travelling with my partner, and spent a long time hyping this place up. We rocked up, excited for a burger, only to find them closed for refurbishment. Not to worry, we found somewhere else and returned the next day once they had reopened. We were greeted at the door and offered the bar to sit at. I like how they're happy for you to eat at the bar, instead of just drink. I ordered 'The Other Lebowski' burger, and my partner ordered 'The Donny'. Both as meals with chips and a drink. The burger was moist, dirty, messy to eat and packed full of sauce. So in other words, everything you want from a damn good burger. It hit all the right spots and we definitely left feeling full. Happy hour is between 1600-1900 every day, so after our meal we treated ourselves to some wine/rose. Now I'm not a pretensious wine snob, so my verdict probably accounts to very little, but I thought the wine was pretty good. Didn't taste cheap at all. The service behind the bar was quick and efficient, which just made for a much nicer experience. I'm glad I got a chance to come back, and to share this place with my girlfriend. I'd also go as far as saying that this was probably the most affordable place to eat out as well if you're looking for a proper burger meal. I needed a dirty burger and that's exactly what I go.

Incredibly delicious burger & chips at this cozy sports bar!
Pro tip: ask about the burger of the month, in this case, it was a jalapeño and Mexican cheese spicy burger which was absolutely delicious!
Prices are ok/affordable for Iceland.
Definitely recommended!

If you love a dirty burger get "the smokey" (double smash) burger. It's disgustingly filthy. Greasy, juicy, meaty, cheesy. I had to come back again for dinner because it is so good. Fries are standard good. Good portions. Friendly staff. Decent price as well.

I love finding dirty burgers. I'm from Australia and the smokey burger up there among my most favourite scrumptious dirty burgers. I would say it's the best as it's a double smash, good cheese ratio, not too much bacon that it took away the meaty taste (I don't usually like bacon in smash burgers because it can take over the taste), small amount of caramelized onions 👌

Too bad I live in Australia 🥲 please franchise to Australia 🥰

Located on the main strip in Reykjavik just off of the rainbow road, this is a must-see! Exceptional milkshakes, a fun atmosphere, good service and very reasonable pricing for downtown Reykjavik! American cuisine with excellent beef burgers that would do well in any American city! Be warned: this place is popular and busy-especially on the local pay days. They DO take reservations, and we were glad we made one. Bonus tip: watch The Big Lebowski in your hotel room or on the flight over on Apple + prior to heading there to really get the most understanding about all of the “Easter Eggs” throughout the restaurant- we did!

Can't say enough good things about the Lebowski Bar. Admittedly, it's one of my favorite movies and the bar does a great job of paying homage to the movie. It's a burger bar so don't expect a huge variety of different foods but they do have a ton of burger choices. The milkshakes are great but pricey at over $10 USD. The burgers are messy and quite good while not being overpriced for the area. The bar has a movie going in all rooms as well and it's just a fun bar to eat while looking at Big Lebowski items. If we had more time at the end of our trip, we would have gone back and I'll definitely go again when we get back to Iceland.

There’s an entire section of the menu dedicated to White Russians — including a vegan/dairy-free version!

If you’re fan of the movie, you’ll love the details — like the rugs on the bar and the bowling-themed accents.

This place has a very cool vibe and great food. No bowling alley, that is just part of the decor haha!

Great place to eat burgers. Their "meal" offering is a steal for Icelandic restaurants. You get an AMAZING burger plus fries and a soft drink for a price you don't even get a burger at other places.

I liked the Lebowski themed fittings. The White Russian variations were quite interesting.

Locals seem to go here as well. Definitely a recommendation, even if you're not looking for a cheap meal in Reykjavik!

Rated 5 stars but would give 6 if could. One of the best themed bars ever. Got a White Russian with my special lady friend and really dug the vibe. I think the rug really ties the bar together and there is a lot of details to the movie all around the establishment. Great staff.

So, I moseyed into this joint, Lebowski Bar in Iceland, and let me tell ya, it really tied the room together, man. It's like walking into our movie set, but with a cool Icelandic twist. The décor’s got this bowling alley vibe, and it’s far out, man.

The bar, well, it's a haven for all us Dudes out there. They’ve got this menu of White Russians - my kinda beverage, man. I tried a few, and each was as good as a sunny day in L.A. Smooth, creamy, hits the spot – it’s good knowing they’re out there, takin’ ‘er easy for all us sinners.

The grub here, man, it’s just what you need when the munchies hit after a few rounds of bowling. Good burgers, the kind that really fill you up. And the tunes, let's just say the music abides. You feel like you’re right back in the ‘90s, just takin’ it easy, enjoyin' the sounds.

Now, the folks here, they’re a friendly bunch. They don’t treat you like just another customer, but more like a comrade in arms, part of the whole durned human comedy. It's a great place to chill, let your hair down, or you know, whatever story comforts you.

If you ever find yourself wandering in Reykjavik, lookin’ for a place to take it easy, drop by the Lebowski Bar. It’s a cool spot to meet fellow Achievers, have a few laughs, and enjoy a good White Russian. After all, the Dude abides, and so does this place. Peace out, man.

We didn't try any food so please forgive my four star-ing it as we only drank there. Great fun. It took me a minute to notice that the trim (it's a bit dark in there, like a good vodka, coffee liqueur, and light cream) is random oriental carpet. Of course! It ties the whole room together!

It's basically what you'd expect. The white Russian I had was the best one I ever had. We just got a couple drinks at the bar but the food looked good. Great music playing too

I like it here!!
We watched The Big Lebowski together yesterday, and that makes this place even more fun.
Burgers (The Donny, The Walter, The Other Lebowski), beers and shakes in diner style. Burgers are pretty good!
Of course you can have your White Russian and there is a lot of bowling (even the Nixon-picture is here). Wipe your mouth with Dude-napkins….

Came for dinner and loved it here! Burgers and fries were both really good! My husband and I talked about this meal for a few days after we ate it😂

They also have a full menu of different flavored White Russians which I highly recommend! We got 2 regulars and 1 banana Russian and they were all delicious!

Basic food fare. But the portions are really big. Everything was tasty. About 20 white Russian drinks, lots of milkshakes to choose from and we had fun on Thursday Night with the free Halloween Horror Movie Quiz night.
Lovely themed bar if you like the movie you will love it here. Staff are very attentive and helpful and friendly

Only in Reykjavik for three nights and looking for somewhere to eat. This bar was right next to our hotel. I ordered a no.7 The honey Boo. A burger I will never have again, not cos it was bad, quite the opposite, I will never find something that good back home in Scotland. I had never had anything like it, everything was just so fresh and dripping in flavour. I also got chips which again were very fresh and crispy. My sister got the chicken tenders and onion rings. The spicy bbq sauce on the tenders was a little too spicy for her but again everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely give this place 10/10. If your ever here this place is a must.
