Decent food for the price, self service and thus I give myself 5 stars. Great price of drinks if you carry a valid student ID.

If you are looking for a place with great food for a fair price, this is the right place. I ordered a pizza, and it was even better than some pizzerias. We enjoyed the night and the atmosphere during the football match.

Great atmosphere filled with everybody and anybody, not just students. Local beer (gull) cost us 1180 isk for 2; and it wasn't even happy hour! For food, collect a menu from the bar and order with them there. Wait for your number to appear on the screen and go collect it from the kitchen. Don't forget to clear your plates 😜 Very casual, inexpensive with lovely staff. Me and my boyfriend loved it. Perfect, especially, if you are staying at the saga hotel and have had a long day on excursions so don't want to walk the 20/25 minutes to the main streets.

The cafeteria was nice. It was a little difficult to find, but just the thing we needed as the pricing in other places was a bit much. I had a burger and my friend had a vegan burger both were cooked and prepared pretty well, but I ordered a cocktail that I wasnt too thrilled about. All in all the venue was great, and I LOVED the ambiance of the space. However, (and I dont know WHY but) the thing I remember the most is that they played Anderson .Paak's "Malibu" album from beginning to end. It was completely unexpected - but it's kind of an attest to how AWESOME of a space it is. Would DEFINITELY revisit when I return to Reykjavík!

Hamburger Professor was delicious. I was glad that I could take salad instead of French fries. Good solution.

The official student bar in Reykjavík. Always great atmosphere, great prizes for the food and drinks and the bar often has concerts, pub quizzes and other great events! Always great service!

Very good food with competitive prices. For now it is my top 1 place for getting hamburgers. Good quality for reasonable price. The food is not the best you can find But still very good.

Also it has a great environment and it is a good place for chill drinking and chatting. Also has awesome events often.

Student restaurant where everyone is welcome. Great atmosphere with excellent prices. Beer is much cheaper here than central Reykjavik. If you are staying at the Radisson Saga then it is just across the road and much cheaper place to have dinner and a beer. Good selection of food on the menu, I had the steak which was excellent.

It's inside the university, with student prices, but open for everyone !

If you want a good meal, but cheaper food and drinks than in the city center, then this is your place! It's also cozy with a nice vibe.

But be prepared that they also host events there (like student activities) so be prepared to watch some Icelandic student debates or student comedy while you eat haha.

We are tourists and decided to take a chance here. Seems like it's for students but we were not the only people who didn't go to school here that were eating. Great food

This university campus restaurant offers a wide selection of food at decent prices. The space buzzes with interesting conversations, as it should.

We stopped here following local recommendations to eat dinner after visiting the national museum next door. The atmosphere was very laid-back with inexpensive local beers on tap (inexpensive relative to Reykjavik). The lively scene included students, locals, and a few tourists, with a Premier League game playing on an enormous screen. I recommend a pour of Tuborg Green (890 kr,) paired with the Desperado: a beef sirloin steak, Bearnaise sauce, fries and a salad for only 1.890 kr. (Oct 2018)! Forget the fact that this is a student dining option at the University of Iceland--it's nothing like the student dining I remember in college.

Great place with laid back atmo. Good food and drinks for a very low price. All sorts of entertainment, concerts and other events, no entrance free. Though majority of customers are university students and staff it is open for everyone.

Great place in every way. As the name says it is in the cellar but you will be surprised when you enter. Smart and cozy interior, wall with live plants, music, friendly staff and low prices. Must see when you are in Reykjavik.
