Awesome store full of interesting departments filled with great merchandise. Whatever you look for, I am sure you will find it - calenders, souvenirs, magnets, great books about Iceland, even the Dune coloring book

Nice cozy book store. They had a nice selection of books, local made gifts and goodies to check out! Staff was friendly and helped direct us to their post box which was located inside the bookshop to mail some postcards we bought!

Expensive! We found some identical souvenirs in the capital at half the price! Nice book store with a cafe. They also have some beautiful books in English and not all are about Iceland. You can also find souvenirs here although we found them to be expensive like everything here 😂

Large bookstore where you can buy souvenirs and… vinyl records (probably the only place in Akureyri where you can find new records).

I can’t say enough about this store! The yummy coffee, the vast selection of souvenirs, great location, the hospitable staff—all just WONDERFUL!! They were even kind enough to ship me a sweatshirt (all the way to Texas) so I could surprise my 75-year old father for Christmas this year after he regretted not buying one for himself during our father-daughter visit. That level of customer service is truly priceless. Thank you!!!

You can take a look around the city of Akureyri, relax by reading a book and drinking coffee. The coffee tastes a bit dark.

It's a jack of all trades store they have everything from book, supplies to electronics. There's also a coffee shop at one end.

Lovely old fashioned (in attitude, not decor) bookstore in Akureyri - knowledgeable staff, great range of books in English and Icelandic (and German and French), good coffee and even acceptable tourist tat. And I got a terrific book as a present.

The "Te og kaffi" coffee house, an Icelandic mini-franchise, inside the store is perfect when traveling with children. There are children's books and a play car that keep the children occupied while you can read one of the many magazines sold there. Don't expect too much of the food, mostly croissants and cookies but good coffee and tea (the name of the café is Tea and Coffee in Icelandic)
