We went on 2 tours in 3 Years. Both of them were amazing and we loved the staff and even if you don’t see a whale it’s a beautiful place to visit
Prices were ok

What a fine time we had on this trip. The boat is well managed and appears to be in very good condition. We had overcast skies and a light mist part of the time but fortunately the wind and waves were light. The day before a trip had seen a blue whale but we were not quite that lucky! We did however manage to see 2 humpback whales, including a large one that breached many time including very close to the ship (I had trouble photographing him because he was too close!). We also enjoyed short-nosed dolphins right off the bow and a large school of harbor porpoises. Birders will enjoy the black-headed gulls, common gulls, northern fulmars, black guillemots, even a few puffins on our trip. The ship is designed so there are plenty of viewing areas, with the best being up high on the bow as long as you are not prone to seasickness. We stayed in the fjord this time since the creatures we sought we actively feeding in there. 3 hours made for a fantastic trip, plenty of good memories.

Yesterday we were amazed by several humpback whales. One of them even jumped, not only once but twice! Also beautiful puffins around. An unforgettable experience!

Great fun, sturdy boat, incredible success rate and, most importantly, memorable views. Definitely worth the trip to Davlik!

It was really nice to see the humpback whales, with the fjords landscape. You get some adrenaline with the rib boat on the waves. We also saw a seal near the lighthouse

Very educational with pictures of the whales during the introduction. A charming boat and very nice staff.

We got to see a lot of dolphins jumping, also one little calf. And the most amazing thing was three humpback whales together that we saw four!! times.

I recommend to go on this tour. I will take this memory with me for the rest of my life.

Incredible experience with great people. The activity is perfectly adapted for child. I will strongly recommend - it’s a must have to do in Iceland. Thanks again.

Excellent trip and were able to reschedule within 24hours also to fit our new plans. Environmentally conscious also and didn't crowd the whales like some tours would

We just had a GREAT experience with Artic Sea Tours out of Dalvik! We took the Rib boat, which we had been trying to decide between that and the regular boat. SO glad we took the rib boat. It was much faster so we got to the whales quicker when they were spotted and could get closer. We saw multiple humpback whales along with playful dolphins and puffins.
Staff was great!

AMAZING! We were on the Speed Boat tours and got up super close to the whale we saw. The tour was only suppose to be 2 hours but it took a long time to spot a whale and our tour ran almost an hour late so we we’re able to see the whale dive down 3 times.

We saw several whales, the guide was good, and hot chocolate and cinnamon scroll were nice during the return trip.

Arctic Sea Tours operate from the other side of the more popular Húsavík area. Very punctual in their services. Very straight forward. We just had to tell our names for the reservations. For whale watching, you gotta need a bit of fortune as well, traversing through the north sea was always a bit apprehensive as ilthe waves can get choppy with the wind, but thankfully it was a bright, sunny but cold day on a September. We succeeded in tail watching, didn't have much luck with seeing the whole of the whale hop out of the water. It was a bit overwhelming to realize how huge whales are up close. Pretty decent experience.

Great experience, the boat crew were very enthusiastic and their passion for the job and the animals came through.
The weather was fair, we saw hump back whales and dolphins.

Very friendly staff. The verbal portion of the tour was a little underwhelming and was usually limited to a sentence or two every twenty minutes. But this was fine as it is much easier to enjoy the landscapes with less talking rather than too much talking. Only saw a few humpback whales but a large area of water was covered in the three hour trip and the closest we had gotten to one was maybe around 20-30 ft. The fishing portion was very enjoyable even though I did not catch anything myself. Preparation of the catch of the day was delicious. Not sure if this particular tour did anything special vs other tours but it was a very enjoyable experience.

We did the rib speedboat whale watching tour. It was a great experience. The boat is fast and comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. We saw a ton of killer whales once we got further out. Fantastic experience.

Took the 11am tour august 9th. We had to have seen at least 30 humpback whales and tons of dolphins. The tour guides are amazing and you can tell they truly love their jobs. The tour concludes with 15 mins of fishing and almost everyone caught a fish most not even biting the hook they just happens to swim by and get caught. The fish was delicious when grilled.

I went into this hoping to see a whale or two on our speed boat tour. We saw several whales and were able to get up close since we were in the small boat. The tour guide knew exactly where the whales should be and what to look for. There ended up only being 4 other guests on our boat. We had a great time and I’d highly recommend to do the speed boat tour.

We got nice and warm overalls for the journey. We traveled with the more expensive rhib-boat so even though it was a few miles away, we got there quickly. First we got to see a large cliff with a waterfall and birds, after that we went straight to the whales and we quickly found them. We saw at least ten humpbacks and one group of 5. They got really close! The guides were very nice and had good stories and information. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's definitely worth to go on whale watching tour. We were lucky to see three whales or rather three tails 😜 during our 3h journey. As tour takes place in bay you most likely wouldn't feel bad if you have see sickness. Be aware that even in summer in Iceland, it is quite cold and windy, especially at see, and you should take protective suite (gala) to keep you warm. At the end, you can also try fishing and then, on land, eat caught that day and grilled fishes.
