Dirty Burger & Ribs

Great Food. You have to order at the counter thats the reason for the service stars. Staff is friendly. For people like me who cannot decide whether to go for burgers or ribs there is a combo dish with both. Ribs are falling off the bone with a grat taste

We were strolling the downtown area of Reykjavik looking for a place to eat. One by another is this restaurant and the American bar next door. The American bar was packed, here only one table occupied which made us suspicious. However, we decided to eat here at DBR, as it was also cheaper. Did no wrong.
My wife and daughter's burgers were really delicious and I ordered a combo of burger and one rack of ribs which was amazing.
The whole dinner for 3 of us was around 60$ which made it a reasonable 20$ pp, which is a good value in expensive Reykjavik

So I wanted to come back and share, the food at this place is excellent! Don't hesitate, it's exactly what you'd expect, and the flavors and quality are high. The service is kinda the Icelandic way, not what I'd consider overly friendly. Don't get me wrong, no one was rude or anything, but it's not like you felt welcomed with open arms (in fairness though, I kinda find that in Iceland in general). But if your look for good food, don't hesitate to go.

There was nobody there when I went, service was not bad and the food was also not bad, especially at this price. I took the menu of cheese burger + rib + french fries, it was really huge for one person.

Visiting from Dallas, Tx and ordered the Cheese Burger with small ribs!! Dang, the ribs were delicious!!

Called in here when we unpacked at the hotel to grab some food. Great place friendly staff and the burger was fantastic nice decor inside and a good feel to the place. I actually gave 1000 isk extra by mistake and the guy handed it me back very honest and definitely would recommend. We had the cheese burger and the chicken burger with fries.

Tasty burgers! We went there twice on our short stay in Iceland, it was that good! Staff were friendly, food delicious and service was very fast. Decent prices. Loved it!

The best fries and burgers we’ve had in Reykjavik so far. They’re so good we went went back 3x in one week and each time the food was delicious. The burgers were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The pulled pork was saucy and super tender. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked and juicy. The prices are great too.

Basic joint, going for a rustic look. Everything cooked fresh and service was good. Pricewise it beat out the American Bar next door and also Roadhouse, even with the 15% off from the voucher book.
Ordered a ribs meal and a cheeseburger meal, both just under 2,000 ISK each. Soda is from a selection of cans.
Very tasty, both enjoyed our meals.

if you’re craving ribs or other american-style bbq dishes, this is a great place to check out in the center of reykjavik! i tried the hot wings and they were great. my friend got the bbq ribs and said they were really delicious too. also the prices here are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the city. overall it’s a pretty solid choice if you need an affordable, good meal.

Delicious food! Very fast service. A simple menu, but it was delicious! Probably the best burger I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Excellent burger place in the capital, they propose some simple menu but they really nailed it. A great burger and the ribs just melt into your mouth. The fries are great too ( and we are from Belgium). Price is into the average for Reykjavik but the customer service was great. Fun and joyful guys at the counter and the cook cared pcuh about us being happy. Definitely great recommandations.

I don't know how Iceland has a pint of ben& Jerry's for 1.300 and ribs for like, 2.200(or something i can't remember exactly) but they do and they are good

Ferry nice ribs and burger.

Didn’t book in advance. They do either eat in or takeaway. Similar to five guys in England. You order and pay at the bar and then sit down and they bring it over for you to eat (if eating in). Excellent portion size and burger was 10/10. Would go again. Works out about £11.50 for a burger, chips and a can of fizzy which is super cheap for Reykjavík. Would go again!!!!
