Café Rosenberg was cosy, warm and had a really chilled vibe. They have really good members of staff, who were attentive and friendly. If you’re into chess, there are plenty of opportunities to spend some time here to play whilst having great coffee and light bites. It stands out from some of the cafés in the area because of its very homey feel, kind of a home away from home if you’re a visitor to Reykjavík. We would happily go back here and try their food!

A pretty nice place to come and chill with your friends & family. They even have some board games which you can borrow like chess, dominos and etc. The apple pie was tasty & fresh. Coffee & Hot Chocolate were good as well.

Terrific staff. They served us delicious and beautiful apple (with a few raisins) salted caramel pie and coffees with humor and stories. The place has a warm and worn feel. Comfy and funky. They also have newspapers, games and wifi, and are happy to indulge your leisurely stay. Highly recommend and on the way from city center to the big tourist attractions like the Flyover Iceland and such.

A genuine cozy coffeehouse! This isn’t your fake Starbucks setting. Comfortable couches, antique tables and chairs, and warm lighting. A great place to stop after a walk through the city, especially on a cold day.
The service was pleasant, the Paninis were good, and the hot chocolate and Swiss mochas were just what we needed.
We even came back a second time just for coffees since we enjoyed the atmosphere so much.

Stumbled upon this spot on a whim and absolutely fell in love. I had an excellent chai latte while my partner had one of his favorite lattes he had in Iceland. The place has a charming, homey, lived in quality that will make you want to go back again and again.

I'm so glad we wandered into this cafe. My wife and I went twice and enjoyed great coffee, beer, and board games. The ambiance is absolutely charming and I wish I could just take the whole place home with me.

Get drinks and strike up a conversation with people down the table in the cozy basement or grab a board game and some dinner. Your choice. Great bar staff. Eclectic, warm vibe on an evening in Reykjavik.

Really nice place in Reykjavik center. The restaurant / bar is located in the big old house. Very charming! You have to order at the bar and then enjoy !
I really enjoy eating on a sofa. Depends on the time but you can find a place easily.
Possibility to have take away for hot drink (don’t know for food)
Service is great.
Food is really good and tasty. You’ve got tap water to use as you want. WiFi is working good.
Definitely a good address!

Very awesome prices and the two cashier's were not only amazing but we're very kind. Wish I could give them a shout out but I didn't know their names🤣 I however can tell you they are two females one with pink hair the other with brown :) Staying in reykjavik for a bit but this place is the best. Not to mention the beer here is amazing.

Loved Stofan crepe of which they fill the crepe with rice and curry, served with plenty of raw veggies. Good coffee as well.
