Amazing culinary experience at RVK went for date night and everything was awesome 🖤 We had tomato soup, beef tenderloin, reindeer and shrimp taco.
Everything was absolutely PERFECT!

Will come back 100 times 🫶🏻

The place was full at weekday evening, but we booked a table for a big group, and they arranged everything for us. When we were ready and some from the company of us stayed, they offered us for staying nice sofas for chill and drink our limonades.
The food was good and the service was kind and fast.

Absolutely amazing service. There was a party that came in that had booked the wrong restaurant. Their server even offered to call the other restaurant and cancel for them.

All the waitresses were really lovely and gave recommendations of what to try.

The food was Devine and tasted absolutely sublime.

Atmosphere was lovely and tranquil.

Rok provides you the opportunity to try the best tasting menu in the area! My personal favourites were the cured reindeer and Icelandic char but really, you can't go wrong with any of the meals featured on the card. I'm pleased and positively surprised by the variety of tastes and wish to be back here soon!

The entire service is excellent – patient and friendly staff. The quality of the House Wine is also very good. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the location is right next to the church.

The portions are small but all the more reason to try multiple dishes. The food was phenomenal. We tried beef in a pancake, fried cod, wild mushroom risotto, and the cured reindeer. I was pleasantly surprised by each dish, especially the beef in a pancake. Would definitely eat here again and again 😊

We loved absolutely everything about this restaurant! Including their small plate approach. We decided to try the tasting menu and we are so glad that we did. They also did a great job making a couple of swaps and modifications due to my food allergies. Even if it's hard to get in, it's worth the effort. I would highly recommend!

100% recommend the charcuterie board! All dishes were very good, my fav was the salmon on top of toasted baguette! 3 dishes and charcuterie came to 109k isk

Really good food. We had the Risotto, Mushrooms on Rye Bread, Steak, Lamb Artic Char and Cod.
All highly reccomended, particularly the Cod and Steak.

Wild mushrooms risotto with fresh parmigiana & red wine sauce. Sauce has: Red Wine Beef Stock and DATES. Yes dates it adds a freshness sweetness and lovely stickiness. Bloody DELICIOUS Nice find. I’ll be back.

This restaurant is shared dining, so the dishes were small (they recommend 2-3 dishes per person). Loved the Plokkfiskur, salmon passionfruit , chicken skewers and the desserts! I recommend to make a reservation. We didn’t but luckily got a seat at the bar. The service was fine, but it was a busy day

Tried to come 5 years ago but they were fully booked so this time we made sure to make a reservation far in advance and they did not disappoint! Portions were a good size and the staff was friendly and attentive. If I am ever back in Reykjavik I will 100% come here again.

This was a top ten meal of a lifetime! The food and service were incredible!

Stopped here for lunch. Ordered a bunch of small plates. They have a 2 order lunch special for 3.690 ISK. We ordered 6 things so they gave us 3 specials which was nice. The food was so good! It’s definitely small plates so everyone around us was ordering 2-3 items per person. We had cured salmon, Thai shrimp, beef taco, beef tenderloin in ponzu sauce, shucked skewer and fried cod. Every dish was great!

For lunch there was not wait but we did wander in for dinner on a Monday and they turned us away for being too busy so get a reservation if you go for dinner!

Everything about this place is amazing. We loved the food and the atmosphere. We luckily got in without a reservation, but they were mostly full, so suggest you have one. We are the ROK Salad, Chestnut mushrooms and garlic with pesto on a roasted rye bread, and Gratinated Icelandic cheese with honey, almonds and sourdough bread. So delicious

Very nice place! Great atmosphere great service and tasty food. It was busy when we went but they managed to accommodate us upstairs to avoid a longer wait which was really nice of them.

We walked in for dinner (no reservation) during a fairly busy dinner service. Luckily they had seating available at the bar, so we didn't have any wait time. The staff are super friendly (bartender took time to chat with us even though he was very busy) and our server was great.

We ordered the mushroom risotto to share and it was my favorite dish -- so flavorful and risotto perfectly cooked. I had the char with couscous which was so delicious! My mule was great and my bestie had the Expresso martini which she enjoyed immensely. Would highly recommend if you're visiting the capital!

Amazing!!! We fell in love with the cured reindeer and ordered an extra portion each. It was one of the best things we have eaten in general. The pork is amazing as well. Service is awesome and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Definitely order the tasting menu. Favorites were:
- Lemon cured salmon with goat cheese, cucumber, and dill on a roasted baquette

Atmosphere is exceptionally elegant and welcoming. We had an amazing time.
