Most affordable grocery in Iceland oh my. Also has a good amount of vegan options shockingly! Even a sandwich and cheese snack.

The cheapest place to get shopping in Rekyavik. Lots of choice and a bigger shop than you'd expect. Vegan sandwiches, vegan cheese crisp puffs (amazing) and plenty of other food. Much cheaper than other places.

Used by locals . No frills at all . Reminds me of Dunnes stores (at home in Ireland) in the 80s. All essential food items available. Spent 30 euro for 2 days meals for 3 people

Don't even try to buy edible souvenirs (like Icelandic chocolate), Icelandic salt, dried fish etc without first checking Bonus! Their prices were the most affordable from any other place and market we visited and we found many great, authentic local products.

Reasonable prices, good selection for those of us here in the USA it is similar to a Lidl or Aldi. More selection than I was expecting, fresh produce and baked goods. Many locations and definitely one of the lesser expensive options for groceries where we were located in Reykjavik. Easily walkable in under 10 minutes from our hotel. Recommend bringing a reusable shopping bag as they charge for them. Plus you can use it when you go shopping for souvenirs as well.

I liked this market a little better than the nearby Kronan.
The 500 ml low alcohol canned beer (Thule, Egils Pilsner) was very inexpensive yet smooth and drinkable. Moreover, the cost per can is about the same whether you buy one or a pack.

A great little supermarket with almost everything you could need if you're staying in the city. There are plenty of vegan options in the grocery aisle, the frozen section, plenty of baked goods and a fridge full of fruit and vegetables. The prices at Bónus are much more competitive than the other supermarkets in Iceland. Some of their own brand products are great, but expect to also find other brands like Oatly and Tofurky if you're on the lookout for familiar vegan brands.

Excellent location! Great selection of meats, drinks and everything you need to fill your pantry while you are on vacation. You will have to pay a small fee for plastic bags. I needed help and the guy helped me. Very friendly staff. There is also self check out of you don’t want to wait for a cashier to ring up your purchases. I can’t wait to go here again.

Great grocery store with high selection of candies, skyr, and more for the tourist coming in for fun souvenirs. Doesn’t have a lot of bite-size snacks for in the go though. Go here before gift shopping! And try pear mjölk. ^^

I recently visited Bónus during my trip to Iceland, and I have to say it was one of the highlights of my trip! The market is full of beautiful handmade items by local artisans, including clothing, jewelry, pottery, and more. I loved how unique and authentic the products were, and I felt like I was able to get a true sense of the local culture and art scene through the items that were being sold.

Great grocery store offering fresh fruits, vegetables, water, and deli. There are self checkouts with debit machines and they offer reusable bags/paper bags. I can't get over how cute the pink pig is! Went twice to restock on snacks during my trip.

It's a good little store to run in if you need a few small things. Not very pricey. Very little is in English so you may have to shop slow. They have a good produce section and some gluten free options which is good- gluten free items are challenging to find in Iceland.
