Eye soothing. Loved the calmness. Boating is bit scary when you try to sit on it. Charge is reasonable. Boating closes around 5pm. Didn’t want to leave the place. Much Recommended.

The most beautiful lake. At first sight this splendid looking lake stole my heart. Keep seated at the view point and get yourself lost into the stunning view of this picturesque natural beauty. The cold breeze coming across the lake, as it touches you, rejuvanates your soul. Go for walk around the lake and relax yourself. Enjoy your stay and engage this natural beauty to the fullest.

We walked around it, took a boat for 1 hour, did boating..feed some fishes ❤
But the main thing was when the clouds started coming down and we did boating around the clouds ❤it was a heavenly experience ☺

Amazing place, like it is the signature spot of this place. Will recommend pedal boat for boating as you can boat as per your choice. Afternoon time around 3-4 is the best.

This is a one of best lake in series of my touring journey. Even Dal Lake beauty is fade in front of this lake. Cleanliness is maintained by government authorities. Boat and fish make the boating fantastic. I suggest everyone must go here at least once in a life.

Just loved this place. The scenery, the calmness, the beauty, the weather - all this has no replacement from what all I have seen so far. No doubt why so many people have been coming to this place. Naina devi temple is on side and the lake is spread across with walking lane side by side. You can just walk around and have a great time. Else if you need to have a boat ride that's also good. For an hour they charge 480/- which ia roughly 40-45 mins. Walking around the lake on Mall road is also memorable experience.

This is one of the most beautiful and cleanest lakes I have ever seen. There are mountains surrounding the lake and Mall road on one side. You can see fish and ducks swimming in the lake. There are boats available to enjoy the calm and relaxed boating while taking in the breathtaking view.
It's perfect for a friends, family or couple vacation. Must visit!

Nainital lake is one of the beautiful lakes i have witnessed till now. Lake along side mall road which has amazing street food and shopping stalls. Early morning you can do cycling with your partner or friends and in the evening you can enjoy the walk with hot chocolate. Amazing place.

Boating at Naini Lake was an awesome experience with the scenic buty of surrounded mountains. Ticket charge of rowing boat for 4 pers is Rs 420 for long ride and Rs 320 for small ride, the ride takes around 20 minutes, can take the ride from Mall road side and alight at Naini temple or vice versa.

Naini Tal, also known as Naini Lake, is a natural freshwater body, situated amidst the town of Nainital in Kumaon, Uttarakhand, India. It is tectonic in origin and is mango shaped or crescent shaped and has an outfall at the southeastern end.Nainital, along with other lakes of Kumaon, is integral to tourism and recreation in Kumaon. The lake is also an integral part of Kumaoni folklore.

Nainital Lake in Nainital Town of the Nainital district, often called the Lake District of India, is one of the four important lakes of Kumaon; the other three are Sattal Lake, Bhimtal Lake and Naukuchiyatal Lake.It's the 3rd biggest lake by surface area in Uttarakhand.

One can do the boating from 8 am to 6pm.

At now the price of one shikara boat ride is --320/- (for half) (20-25 mins), 420/- for full (40 to 45 mins)
