The starting point is Near Himalaya Darshan. It is 3 km long Trek. Which will take 50-70 min based on the fitness. There is little steepness. But during the trek there were quite good views and the trekk through big trees was also quite good. (Highly Recommended)

The Naina peak trek is a paradise for trekkers as it throws at you a mix of the trials which is uphill, steep and beautiful. The forest becomes denser as you move uphill. The 6 km climb can be completed within a span of 1-2 hour. The peak offers fresh air and scenery which feels to be from a different world. With Himalayan ranges on one side, Nainital city and lake on other and picture-perfect greenery all around, the trek is highly rewarding.

Naina Peak is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate in the lap of nature. The peak also offers adventure activities like trekking, camping, and rock climbing for adventure enthusiasts. It is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Nainital

You have to trek around 3-3.5 km from base point to reach at the top. The trek is steep and a bit tiring but the views you get after reaching at the top are just awesome.
There is also a person of forest department at the top where you can get tea, maggi,, biscuits and water bottle.
You should start the trek in morning (around 10-11) so that you will get ample time to relax at the top and enjoy the views.

A very peaceful & long trek with friends or family.
Hiking boots are must for better experience, also the climate changes very frequently above.
You will get the view of complete nainital and other mountain range.

Small trek to naina peak will lead to hawk eye view of mango lake.
Watching clouds and enjoying Maggie is a good combo
Less crowded or less popular made this spot a must visit
Relaxing at such a height is quite required when you are trying to escape the reality

The trek to naini peak is awesome . The place is in solidarity so u can find yourself whiling going up. Must carry some eatables nd water for the trek . There are only two shops on the trek one is 1.5 km from polytechnic and another one is at the top ,u can find tea nd maggi along with some snacks. So u must carry some eatables along with u.

Note- do not follow Google maps, it will not take you to the Naini peak. Read more to understand.

This is a beautiful experience, possibly the best thing in Nainital, which is located about 10 km from Nainital’s Mall Road. To get to the peak, you have to trek for 2.5km from the starting point which is a non descriptive entry, which you can find in the map as

‘Naini Peak Trek Starting Point’.

This is just beside an old Maggie-point. From there, the 2.5km hike will take like an hour and half to get to the top, from where you will get breathtaking views of Nainital. It’s preferable to wear shoes and carry water.

The entire thing will take 4-5 hours. So come prepared.

If you want to choose one trek then it's worth to choose it
It will take 1-1.5 hours to reach at top
For adventure you can try some shortcuts
Better to do it in morning and day time, not evening near sunset

This place is one of the highest peaks of Nainital. Because of being the highest peak, there are spectacular views of the Himalayas from here, as well as you can have a panoramic view of the whole of Nainital. Huh? The Tibet (China) border is visible from here

Short easy trek of 4km approx will take you to this place. Being highest hill in nearby, you can have a 360 view of all places nearby - khurpatal, nainital. You can trek further to a kilometer ahead to visit no man's land.
