Mr. Rohit from hotel helped with all the bookings and made sure our Nanital trip should go well. Location was awesome. Beautiful lake view from hotel room. Room service was great and quality food was served.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff. They helped me in a proper way while I wanted to cancel my booking in July and needed a refund. I would always prefer this hotel whenever I visit Nainital and also recommend to my connections.

First of all price is affordable of hotel Shivraj as all the rooms are of lake view. The staffs of this hotel are polite, foods were tasty like home, reasonable price and delivered their services fast. No car parking facilities but hotel staffs and manger will guide u properly. All time hot water available in bathroom.

I stayed at this hotel in April 2022 with my family and it was a wonderful experience.
It has a prime location right on the mall road with a spectacular view of the Naini lake.
Room was neat and clean, and most importantly the staff was polite and friendly. We contacted Rahul to ensure our hassle-free stay. We also got complimentary breakfast and the food was really tasty, specially the pasta was great.
There is also table and chairs provided outside the rooms so that we can enjoy are meals with a fresh breeze of air.
If you are visiting nainital, you can choose this hotel without any doubt.

Let me start off by saying that the photographs does not do justice to the on ground reality. The rooms are very cozy and offer a great view of the lake. The owner and staff are absolutely friendly and ensure that all your requirements, necessities , whims or fancies are tended to immediately. I'd give the cleanliness of the room and washroom 5*s. We had a great time thanks to the owners active involvement with the logistics.

It was a pleasant experience staying in this hotel. The buffet breakfast served had limited items but the food was good. The restaurant is nice and the staff was very helpful. You can sit outside on the terrace facing the lake and sip tea. The rooms are neat and clean but small.

Excellent service. The view is beautiful from the hotel . It was our first visit at Nainital however the hotel was the best choice pertaining the view and the hospitality. The staff was attentive and really polite . Breakfast was good . We extended our stay for one more night and on the day of checkout, we opted for local run from hotel car and they took us to many places for sightseeing like Mansa devi , Tiffin top , Himalayan view , Lake top view , Cave garden and many more . They even arranged the bus tickets for us. Overall the experience was nice , would definitely like to come back again and stay.

I along with my wife stayed in the hotel Shivraj which is located at the centre of Nainital Mall area. Mall is nearly 1.25 km from the hotel. The the hotel is located in the Main Road. I stayed in the 1st floor of the hotel. Lake view from the balcony of the hotel is really nice. One can easily walk through Mall area, Naini Devi Temple , boat area ropeway base area and market area.
Hotel Manager and staff are polite and very much helpful.
There is an arrangement of breakfast in the ground floor of the hotel. The breakfast room is very clean and the quality of the breakfast is also very good.
Hotel room is clean. There is no problem of hot water. Good ambiance.

The atmosphere was terrific with the splendid view of the naini lake.. Rooms were perfect for comfort along with the sitting outside makes a super combo to relax.

It was extremely pleasurable stay at hotel shivraj , the hotel presents a very clear view of the Naini Lake and the Naini peak. The rooms are clean and spacious but the power points were a bit defunct in our room. The support staff are very friendly and professional and Mr Rohit in the reception is very cooperative and helpful. Overall it was a great experience staying here

The place is beautiful with each room interior very tastefully done in wood. The property is on the mall road with the second floor terrace providing a stunning panoramic view of the entire Nainital. Very good homely food at the restaurant as well. The employees are very helpful as well with a very good service quality at the hotel.

Amazing experience of staying at this place. The ambience, staff, food, rooms, location everything was just way too awesome. One can have a beautiful view of the river while sitting in your room too.

Hotel Shivraj is a wonderful cozy nook in the laps of Nainital, the city of lakes in India... Though our stay was short-spanned, only for 2-3 days, but we thoroughly enjoyed the service, the hospitality of the staffs, and their smiling faces... And what more can I say about the views! Our room directly opened into a balcony cum terrace, facing the lake.. Even our room had a delightful view of the lake and the adjoining mountain... The boating point is just on the bang opposite of the hotel. The Mall Road, Naina Devi Mandir, Bhutiya Bazar, ATM - everything is just a stone throw away. They also arranged for pick up and drop for us from Kathgodam station, as well as car for local sightseeings. Mr. Rohit who took care of us, right from arranging for the best deals, to giving us the best rooms, as well as organizing our cars, we owe a lot to him... 😊

In short, Shivraj is a great place to stay, enjoy and spend lovely time at Nainital! Definitely recommend it. 😊👍

It's great hotel right on the mall road with a fantastic view of the lake. The room was spacious, neat and tidy. The food was delicious and the staff was courteous and took care of all our needs with a smile. Do check it out the next time you are in nanital.
