Location is not on Mall road. But they provide free conveyance at your convenience.

The service is too good, Kids friendly hotel. Best thing is the hotel provides shuttle to and from the mall road free of charge. Although it's 500mtr walking.

I recently stayed at The Naini retreat and had a wonderful time.

It's located in a beautiful area with stunning views of the mountains and lake Naini. The garden view rooms was designed to give you precise British feeling.

The resort also has a great restaurant with delicious food and a wide variety of options. When I stayed there, the cluster chef Mr. Parihar was there too, he was always equipped to pamper our tastebuds.
The filter coffee of the Madras cafe is still on the memory.

If looking for peaceful times, I'd recommend it.

I stayed at Naini Retreat for the Republic Day long weekend with my family.The day before the reservation date I got a message from the hotel asking if I had any requests- I asked for an upgrade & they did give me oneThe hotel rooms were clean & spacious.They arrange cultutral programs,bonfire nights and live performances that one can enjoy while staying here.The hotel staff is extremely professional, helpful & friendly.A special shoutout to Deepak,Lakhsita,Jagdish & Sanjay.The hotel manager also checked in with us and was very pleasant to interact with. Overall a great experience & would definitely love to stay again.

Hi, Naini Retreat was such a wonderful experience. Starting from rooms, the decore of the whole campus, food,and extremely co-operative helping staffs.
Staffs were always helpful and all calls were attended immediately. Foods were awesome, and evening tea and snacks were icing on cake. Then in mountains nothing much can be done in evening . So entertainment for guests and kids were highly thoughtful. Hotel is very beautiful .

It was our group of eight who had fantastic experience of full four days stay at hotel.The Naini retreat Nainital.... with fun,food and frolic.Very good ambience,facilities and courteous staff who are ready to help you at each step and corner.
The most adorning thing I would like to mention is about Chief chef Mr. C.S. Parihar who is having international exposure with very renowned hotels like Taj,Jp group etc for more than 30 years. The item like Pahadi Thali Kumouni, Kachodi and Guju food too. Marvelous.aAlways caring for your choice.
I recommend the hotel in all respect.
Last word of alert , pls don't come with mini Bus or big vehicle but come by cars only for the best of local travel convenience.

Beautiful luxury Resort had a great time.Could witness Republic day celebrations with traditional folk dances.& soecial tricolour snacks for guests. Staff is very polite and helpful.Services are prompt and food was delicious too.Enjoyed bon fire and live orchestra in the evenings.The view of naini lake is superb.Liked it very much and looking forward to visit again.

The property is more gorgeous than the pictures. They maintain a good balance between vintage architecture, luxurious views and local delicacies. The deck offers beautiful views of the Nainital lake and room to bask in the sun. Lush green decor, warm hospitality and service make you wanna stay longer. Pahadi aloo, mutton gravy and chai on the deck are to die for. Cheers to Mr. Jeena (GM), Rohit (Front office manager), Diksha and the rest of the team for ensuring a wonderful stay.

A beautiful property with a majestic view of Naini Lake. Visited the Naini Retreat along with family in November. Overall experience was very good, the room was cosy, garden and lake view were fabulous, enjoyed our stay. The staff was highly supportive and committed to their job and all the services were flawless. They made special arrangements for the Deepawali pooja. The flute playing by Yashraj every morning made the ambience pretty amazing. Our visit was worthwhile and highly recommendable. The entire team was proactive and took good care of the guest. Thanks a lot, to the Naini retreat team.

The resort is absolutely lovely, with a great view of the lake, the food was very good and we had an enjoyable stay at this resort

The Naini Retreat:

My husband had planned a trip for to Nainital recently.
We were recommended Naini Retreat by a close friend.
Our dates there were 21st and 22nd Sept, 2023 and overall it was an amazing experience/
I was waiting to write this review as a gratitude to the whole team who created that beautiful experience for us during our stay there.
This is a heritage property with a historic lineage and the best in Nainital.
The location is wonderful, serenely nestled in a mountain with a breathtaking view of Naini Lake, Boat House, and the market nearby. Naina Devi Temple is located right
Of course, the roads are slightly narrow and uphill but the best view is always after a good climb.

We opted for a supreme room here and it was quite beautiful and royal with a big glass window that overlooked the fountain. The rooms are very well maintained and clean as well with all modern amenities available.

The staff is very cordial and supportive, the front desk team was very helpful in providing initial check in formalities which were real quick and easy without any hassles specially Mr. Rohit, Lakshita, Tara and Himani provided a good customer experience in terms of initial formalities, we got served delicious Buransh juice as a welcome drink which was quite refreshing.

The kitchen staff was also very hard working and the service was top notch, I would like to share my gratitude for Shyam, Pankaj, Kanchan, Bhawna and Jagdish for their services as they were on their toes while serving us and the guests who were there for either breakfast, lunch and dinner. They always had a smile on their face and heart which wanted to help out genuinely.

During breakfast, there is a live flute performance everyday by Yashraj who is a localite and lives on the mountain right across Naini Retreat. My 21-month-old girl became a fan of his flute and gave him a thumbs up every time he performed.

The food delicious and sumptuous- the Corporate Head Chef Mr C S Parihar did magic with the food and it was very good, he was very humble and generous. My baby started calling him Naanu because he was so friendly in nature. I even got a chance to click a few pics with him. The lemon butter fish, and grilled chicken are definitely mouth-watering and super duper delicious, a must-try when you are here. Mutton Shikar is another favourite. Whole Buffet was spread across beautifully and thoughtfully.

There is a live music performance in evening in the Stella Bar- that person has a magical voice and even when he wasn’t feeling too well he still turned up to play for the guests.

We also interacted with other guests who were friendly and warm.

I really had a wonderful and pleasant stay at Naini Retreat and would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. Overall it was fantastic.

Property is impressive. Cozy rooms, well designed and maintained gardens, music wafting in the air, the Hotel compound in itself is nature's paradise. The staff was efficient and attentive to needs. The Restaurant was well manned. Krishna, Chefs Parihar and Thomas served exquisite cuisine. I stayed en route Kainchi Dhaam.

Beautiful ambience,cosy room,sorrounded by beautiful scenery,warm welcome at reception with ginger lemon honey tea,staff very decent,all staff wishes with sweet smile ,bufet with all varieties,specially dahi kawab,paneer makni,and my special honey lemon ginger tea,and of course hearing of flute in restaurant inthe morning sorrounded by mountains touches the heart ,greenery around and fountain in the centre creates a attraction sorrounded by benches marvellous,sure visiting soon⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful retreat away from city life and in the mountains. It is near to all the tourist sites and gives a much needed breather all while connecting oneself to nature. The food tastes very close to home. The menu for the Breakfast and Dinner changes everyday which makes the experience all the more mysterious and fun. Moreover, the staff is extremely polite and well-mannered. Several engaging activities are carried out for the children as well as the adults.
My room in particular was spacious along with a big bathroom. A very comfortable bedding and a large television set was provided. Other amenities such as water heater, glass bottles, toileteries etc were available.
