What a SWEET find in the middle of Hvar Town!

SWEET REPUBLIC HVAR is exactly what this town needed. And what a location, location, location! Start climbing the stairs up from the main square, heading towards the fortress and, there they are. A corner space which is absolute perfection.

Love the outdoor seating on the old steps with cushions or barstools along the outer wall. Inside also offers barstools and counter space if the weather brings you indoors.

Coffee is made with expertise by Marko & Mia. Also teas and iced tea infusions are a daily menu choice. Very good juices which should satisfy all who stop in with the wide variety of drink selections.

Then the most yummy vegan (and non-vegan) desserts, breakfast bowls and smoothies made fresh daily.

I love that they offer alternative plant based milks as I only use oat ‘milk’ in my lattes/coffee. I also have enjoyed the chia puddings, the juices (Detox is delicious!), the iced teas and on and on.

Prices are incredibly fair. You will be surprised by the quality of the drinks and foods at such great price points.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. We’ve stopped quite a few times during our month here on Hvar and we were always greeted with a smile. The owner Joško is also on site often and he and his staff make us feel like old friends!

Do yourself a favor and go. You will find it to be a totally Sweet Republic!!

I love smoothie in general and the smoothie here is delicious. I ordered the one with blueberries, bananas and more. (Sorry that I don't remember) the cafe is cute with 2 tables outside and some chairs inside. Next time I would love to try lemon pie which is popular.

After three years I had my first coffee in Sweet Republic Hvar! Combo with super tasty healthy pastries and cakes 😋
I love the concept where every day is something new. This is my new place to chill and enjoy.
Plus watermelon juice is more watermelon then the real one!

Lovely vegan sweets; I came here twice in a day and would keep coming back if I could. Cold Brew Coffee is also good here.

Great place, very clean and in a beautiful location. The drinks are very tasty and freshly prepared. The person preparing juice washed thoroughly hands before making our drinks as she played with a dog before. I love animal friendly places, but hygiene is also important.

We happen to stubble upon Sweet Republic. We enjoyed our cold coffees and juices on our first visit and made it a repeat spot for our morning coffees. The owner, Artemija, is so incredible, friendly and knowledgeable of the area and Dubrovnik.

The juice is so good and fresh. Ana was super sweet and also my friend love the coffee. Highly recommend

We found something "fresh" in Hvar, they have raw cakes, smoothies, fresh juice, etc. And, healthy!! Recommended to visit👍🏼👍🏼 bravo

This is a MUST. We tried the smoothies and the pralines and they were incredibles.
We come from France and these ones are the best vegan pastries ever.
A lot of local people come here too. That means that they are reaaaaally good.

The most amazing atmosphere on the way to the fortress in Hvar. Warmth,
and the tastiest vegan desserts!

Amazing, original, with quick and polite service, agreeable staff and tasty products. The confectionery has on offer pastries of rather complex recipes which all incredibly complement each other in a subtle way. I was impressed with pralines especially.

Than juices, which they prepare much like cocktails except without alcohol, mostly out of few types of juices with of without few types of milk available, 2.5 dl per portion I'd say.

Than smoothies, original recipes from local grown groceries, also 2.5 dl per portion, my estimate. They only don't make them fridge-cold but ice is always available as it invariably goes to their juices. So while ordering maybe you'd want to state whether you want your juice or a smoothie cold or not.

They also have coffee, organic which is roughly like standard espresso in matters of taste and form. Various types of milk available for macchiato (coffee with some milk), like regular milk, almond milk, soya milk... They also have cold brew coffee which is significantly stronger in caffeine content, served cold and with ice and a straw. Distinctive. Superb.

Coffee to go available. They also have boxes for pastries if want to take them with you.

The staff was exceptionally pleasant as to whatever I was curious about, be it their products or something about the Hvar town.

As far as I know this is the only complete pastry shop in town, and what a place, oh.

Coffee and Organic Cake Shop

Behind the beautiful wooden door of a newly furnished stone house in the old part of town, on the way from the main square to the fortress of the Town of Hvar, one can find the newly created Sweet Republic Coffee and Organic Cake Shop. It is a very interestingly conceived and realized coffee shop with organic and vegan sweets and drinks.
Specifically, all lovers of desserts without added sugar, sweeteners and milk can find the huge array of healthy desserts: from chia mousse to fine fruit/ creamy vegan suitable cakes. Adequate high quality espresso coffee is an indispensable companion of these sweet, but healthy delicacies.
This sweet event is completed by the presence and kindness of the owner Joseph (Josko in Croatian) and his nice stuff: Artemia famous singer who uses her creative spirit and skill in cake making, and finally Maja whose coffee preparation skills can make a return to this newly opened sweet republic bar in Hvar a constant challenge to the visitors.
It seems that Sweet Republic corresponds with high fidelity to Joseph's initial idea of making a sweet healthy, and palatable point
in old town in Hvar, a unique island of unspoiled nature, love and hopefully sustainable good sweet issues.
Personal recommendation: Lemon cake

Coasy place with not to many seats. Greta coffe. Icecream even better(mango is must to have). Kindest service is a cherry on top. Highly reccomend after busy day in Hvar.

Really high-quality ingredients - miles better than the leftover, pesticide-ridden pulp they serve in cafes on the square and charitably call "fruit". The prices are very reasonable for Hvar, too.
