Excellent experience, from the attentive service to the delicious food. On the higher end in terms of prices but worth it. Each one of our servers seemed to care to provide a special experience and they truly did. The post dinner liquor is a must try. The place next door starts to play live music around 9pm so stick around to enjoy the lovely atmosphere. did. Thank you to the entire team at Dalmatino!

Steak and gnocchi to die for! The staff were really friendly providing some pre and post meal drinks. The grandmas cake and cheesecake for desert were really delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough, even had a lovely cat to keep us company.

We had a lovely table outside and it was great to hear some live music from the next door bar.
All the waiters were incredibly friendly.
Our food was really tasty. I could have easily had second helpings of the tuna tartare and octopus carpaccio. The black gnocchi with shrimp and truffle was also really good. And the grandma’s cake for dessert was perfect - not too sweet and perfectly dense.
The welcome and end-of-meal drinks were a fantastic touch.
I would definitely recommend coming here!

Impeccable service! We tried our luck on getting a table for dinner and are so glad we did!! You are looked after by every employee from the moment you are seated. We were treated to a welcome local fruit and drink, as well as a small entree from the chef. Waiters ensured we diddnt need to fill our water or wine once. Their knowledge of the menu is so good, we were spoken through every dish that we wanted to know more on. Will happily be returning as the food was delicious and service was so fast!

Absolutely amazing! One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. While there isn't anything listed as vegan on the menu, they do have some phenomenal vegan dishes! If you tell the server that you're looking for vegan options, they will list out a number of very delicious sounding creations. I ended up going with a zucchini carpaccio & polenta for an appetizer and a vegan truffle steak for my entree. Both were scrumptious, and the bread was great too! Our waiter went above and beyond and we even got some complementary beverage samples at the beginning and end of our meal (the carob liqueur is divine)! I highly recommend Dalmatino for both vegans and non-vegans!

This was probably one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had during my whole Croatia trip so far. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing, and the food was AMAZING. I had the Black Gnocchi with shrimp and truffles - 100% recommend it. The live music at the bar next door was also a plus.

5 star service and food. We chose Dalmatino as our special romantic dinner during our trip in Croatia, and it was perfection. Amazing food, black gnocchi is delicious, excellent service, great music. We loved it. definitely we recommend.

Black gnocchi and shrimp was amazing, as well as the tuna steak! We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night as well. Great service, highly recommend!

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner here. They were so polite, and the dishes far exceeded my expectations. I especially like the sauce that came with the beef gnocchi. It was the perfect amount of tart and savory for the beef! We also ordered the granny’s home made cake and octopus carpaccio and enjoyed every bite! Very happy!

Incredible food with amazing service - highly recommend the truffle gnocchi and the octopus carpaccio (other dishes are good too). Our servers were excellent and so knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Amazing service ! Compliments by the chef with a polenta bread to start off was so delicious we wished it was on the menu ! My mom ordered the truffle gnocchi and I had the octopus salad - both were delicious and super flavorful, especially the octopus salad on a hot day :)

Best restaurant in Hvar! The food especially the sea bass is amazing. The service is great, and the crew are so friendly! Well recommended.

It was a pleasure to eat in this restaurant! Since we arrived the staff was incredibly friendly. Before ordering food they offered us a shot and some carob (a fruit used to make things sweet). Also they offered us some fried polenta! I found this very nice of them. The food was EXCELLENT! We ordered octopus carpaccio and tuna tartar as antipasti, they were both extremely good but the tuna tartar was just incredible. I then ordered as main course GNOCCHI “ISTRIA”
( BLACK GNOCCHI WITH BLACK TRUFFLES AND SHRIMPS IN CREAMY WINE SAUCE). Just gorgeous! I enjoyed every bite!
As dessert I tried their Granny's homemade cake and this was the perfect ending for the dinner! I can really recommend this restaurant and the people working there made just the whole dinner experience perfect! We will eat here again for sure when we'll be back in Hvar!

This is by far, the best restaurant in the island.
They treat you as a king/queen. They are very attentive all the time, and help you choose your dishes and drinks.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very quiet and pleasant.
We eaten the octopus carpaccio, the tuna tartare and the curry risotto, and all were amazing.
They offer you a complementary welcome drink and an appetiser, and after the meal they offered us another drink.
For sure we will come back!! :)

Amazing food and excellent staff. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients, the history and where the food and wine come from. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. They made an off menu item for a picky eater at our table as well. We’ve had several great restaurant experiences in Hvar, however this was definitely the best.

One of our favorite spots on our honeymoon!

We walked up in casual clothes at 4:30pm after spending the day at beach clubs and they were able to seat us immediately at a table outside. We mentioned it was our honeymoon, and they began going above and beyond to make the meal special for us.

First, we received two pieces of “candy” made from a local Hvar tree, followed by two shots of a amaretto made from said tree. Then they brought two glasses of rosè for us to toast to each other. Then they brought a slice of egg soufflé for us each (I think). A wonderful start to our meal and made us feel so welcomed.

We ordered a bottle of locally made white wine and a bottle of water, then ordered the tuna tartare and octopus carpaccio. Both were absolutely fantastic and we could’ve ordered another order of each and left happy! We saw they also had beef tartare topped with an egg yolk and ordered that too. Delicious, but the tuna tartare was our favorite.

Then we split a black pasta with fish and red sauce. We thought it was too sweet unfortunately, but had a few bites each. The fish was cooked perfectly but the sweetness tasted off to us.

At the end of our meal, they brought us ANOTHER amaretto shot, different from the first.
The service here blew us away. Filipe and Markus, thank you for being so kind and welcoming.

Great restaurant with good food, good wine list and above all, I must pointed out is service. We felt very welcomed and our waiters ( Filip 1 and Filip 2 ) were very knowledgeable in recommendations about food and wine we were wishing to order. Also we have received some complimentary finger food and desert wine while we were waiting for our food. We have spent wonderful time in Dalmatino restaurant. Prices are reasonable.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Such a beautiful little place. The truffle shrimp gnocchi is just gorgeous. The gin basil smash cocktail is probably my favorite cocktail of all time. The steak was excellent aswell! Everything here is just perfect! I’ve been a few times and it was 10/10 every time. The service is wonderful also. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Stumbled across Dalmatino when we were looking for dinner, walked up an alley and saw a very lively area full of music and people enjoying a drink and dinner. Luckily we managed to get a table in Dalmatino even tho they were fully booked. To say it was amazing is an understatement, the best place we have come across on our holidays. The food was top class, but the service was like nothing I’ve come across before the waiters were so friendly and each of them stepped to chat to us making us feel at home. Complimentary starter and local wine were a lovely touch. Honestly would recommend this place to everyone!

The food we got was the shared platter of chicken and steak, both cooked perfectly and with a sauce of your choice and fried potatoes.

Dessert was the recommended granny’s cake and cheese cake both lovely! The lady who has been making the cake has done so for decades and the waiters tell the story of how they would come up as children to have her famous cake.

Amazing restaurant that was recommended to us by our local boat tour guide. The food was so delicious and it’s in very cute spot. Fresh gnocchi made in house was delicious. The service was the best we have possibly ever received in a restaurant - every single waiter was so kind and personable and went out of their way to make sure we had a good dinner. Amazing!
