Restaurant Mizarola

We had an excellent lunch here with an amazing view from the covered rooftop. The Trio Salad was delicious with the Tuna Pate definitely being the star. The pizza and burgers were wonderful and a great, friendly staff was on top of everything from beginning to end. Definitely an amazing find.

Great atmosphere, amazing staff and fast service. We ordered a pasta and risotto which was amazingly good. The pasta was made with traditional Croatian sauce. I heard that local people come here, so this is a good sign. The price was very fair different than other places in Hvar where you can pay 20 euros for a ordinary pasta.

We were just strolling around the old town when we came across this great restaurant. The food was great yet affordable, but what stood out the most to us, was the waiter Mateo, who not only is friendly but really knowledgeable about the food as well as pairing wines. Truly one of the best waiters we had on our vacation in Croatia. Upon his recommendation, we had a signature “mizarola” pizza and castello pasta… Both were delicious and portions were generous.

I was with my family at this wonderful restaurant for lunch. We chose fish from the daily catch, black risotto and mangel from the extensive menu. All the food was fresh and excellently prepared. The homemade white wine was very tasty. The young waiter was very accommodating and helpful. We felt very welcome in the wonderful surroundings. All praise and recommendations!

Usually i’m not the one to leave reviews but i have to this time around. Mizarola had affordable yet good food, but even better staff. Just gotta say that Mateo is an exceptional waiter. You better keep that guy.

Great place! Staff were welcoming and polite. We ordered one pizza to share and they served it in two separate plates, which I found thoughtful! Food was really tasty and fresh. We sat in the terrace and the ambience and the view added to the overall quality of our experience. Simple lunch but memorable experience.

The restaurant is not fancy fancy, and it's pretty hot on their terrace (in summer), but their seafood is perfect. Quite big portions, we got full with the appetizers.

I strong recommend it. Excellent mediterranean cuisine, great homemade wine. Perhaps connoisseurs of haute cuisine and Michelin stars will not find anything here, but the rest should like it here. Waiter Ante, thank you for the excellent service and interesting stories about theirs products and wine!

I just loved the staff, the terrace and the food. And the prices!? So affordable. This meal was just 15€ and it was delicious! The pizzas are also good!

I don't like fish a lot, but I ordered sea bass fillet with shrimps here and it was a total hit 🎯
Lasagna with meat was also tasty but a bit burned around the edges.

Lovely restaurant with a fab terrace. The food was delicious and the service was even better! Would recommend due to prices too, one of the cheapest for a great meal.

The food was very good. Service was friendly and informative. The place has a nice terrace with views of the surrounding hills. We really had a great experience here. Highly recommend. The fish appetizer for two was amazing as was the lasagna.

You know it's great as it's ALWAYS full of locals having fun and a good meal!

We eat here a few times on our annual visits to Hvar. Being vegetarian it is easy to get a good meal. Excellent veggie pizza - as in THE BEST, veggie pasta, salads. I'm sure many more yummy food choices but we like these!

We really enjoy our favorite server Simke!!! He's amazing. Always smiling, talkative, super friendly and prompt! Simke smiles when he greets us as if we are his long lost friends!

The upstairs dining area is open air and really nice. Even when completely full and busy, they will get you in as soon as possible and your food will be served perfectly prepared in no time. And overall an incredible value. Prices are extremely low for the quality and quantity you receive!!

Love coming 'home' to Restaurant MIZAROLA which always makes us feel like locals and family!!

and seated us at the terrace . Pizzas are big. We ordered margherita ,bubba gump and Greek salad. We really liked bubba gump. Pizza with shrimp and garlic very basic recipe but tasty. Cheese in Greek salad was not the regular feta cheese .

We were here on a night when every restaurant around the area had a 40 min+ wait. We were surprised that the place was not full given the high rating. Service was efficient and food was amazing. We had gnocchi with prawns, grilled squid, and tiramisu. All the items were great and price was much more reasonable than the fancier restaurants next door. Staff was friendly and our waiter even gave us couple free house wines apologizing for serving our food too slowly (which we did not even consider to be that slow). The couple sitting next to us said they had been to this restaurants 3 times in the last week, which wasn’t hard to imagine. Highly recommend this place for its quality and value.

Food was amazing & the service was like clockwork, very good restaurant. Prices are very reasonable too!

4 Real! BEST RESTAURANT IN "HVAR"

Went here twice because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Good hearty food, friendly service, and nicely located in the town of Hvar. Can't say anything about the rest on the menu, but the pasta, lasagna, and risotto were great.

We had a lovely lunch here on the rooftop and everything was flawless! The vege lasagne and bolognese were delicious and the bread (actually cooked pizza dough?) with olive oil was so good! Staff were very attentive and super friendly. We much preferred our meal here compared to Dalmatino and much better value!
