Awesome fish stew cooked with olive oil, onion and potatoes. It tastes fresh and sweet 😋. We also had the hearty dish of wild boar. Enjoy your lunch while looking over the turquoise water and medieval town. Boris is funny, grumpy and nice- he asked me if I need chairs after I asked table for two😂. The two shots of digestive local wines that he pour us at last may get us sink in the water later😁

A must visit. We waited around 20 minutes to get a table, but it was well worth the wait. The staff are very friendly, our waiter Vuk in particular was great. Sea food plate and sea food pasta were excellent, everything is so fresh. This place is always packed so make sure to book ahead!

Not even close. Easily the best restaurant in town. Ask your hotel to help you make a reservation. If not, show up around 6:30pm to be sure to get a seat. You can also email from the website to try and get a reservation but it helps if someone local calls.

It was so good I came here twice. The catch of the day was incredible. The octopus is a one of a kind experience. Their homemade wine is excellent and their service/hospitality was next level. Boris was my server and was the best server I’ve had here. The owner is around and answers any questions you might have. He also makes the wine. His name is Luca.

Best place in Hvar. Make it a must!

We had the best time here, my partner and I said it was easily one of the best dining experiences of our lives. Not only was the food exceptional, Boris (our server) made our night so special. His humour, knowledge, and suggestions really elevated our experience to a whole other level. We are itching to go back! This restaurant will always have a special place in our hearts.

Amazing family run restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The beef soup was tender and full of flavour. The octopus was grilled and was a little heavy with the oil, but the gregada was very good. The fish was extremely fresh and flavourful. Highly underrated place.

Went here on a whim without looking it up first and was very pleased. Delicious food. Seafood platter for lunch was fresh and flavorful. The hostess at the restaurant is very friendly and the waiter we had for lunch was as well. Both were very attentive with service and were more than willing to provide quality recommendations for the food. For dinner the boar ragu was amazing. Having never had boar before I did not know what to except but walked away a fan! The same hostess was there for dinner and equally pleasant, we had a different waiter for dinner who was fine, but it was very busy so service was slightly less attentive from him. High quality wines at both lunch and dinner as well and great cocktails with dinner too. At the end of every meal they provide a complimentary aperitif/digestif.

What a fantastic gem! Our host, Bo was really the best.. well humoured and was great at advising us about the dishes. We took the seafood platter for two and it was superb..only that it doesn't come with bread or potatoes..the flavours are simple but so good, the seafood was very fesh. All the seafood was grilled on a barbecue in olive oil and it was accompanied with some garlic dipping oil. Additionally ordered some steamed potatoes which went fantastically well with the main and Bo was gracious enough to offer us that on the house. I would recommend this family-run restaurant in a heartbeat. Prices are very decent for that area. Bravo!

Just had the best mussels I’ve ever tasted! My entire experience was amazing. Even though I had to wait a bit (didn’t make reservations) , I enjoyed a glass of wine to pass the time away with the hostess. I took my waiter’s advice and ordered the mussels. They did not disappoint. They were outstanding! Best I’ve ever had even! Finished my meal off with the panna cotta and an espresso! So glad I decided to wait out for a table as I had a wonderful and absolutely delicious dinner - a fabulous gastronomic experience that will be hard to match. Definitely recommend and definitely returning again (this time with reservations made)!😄

The service first, was outstanding, they took their time to explain the cooking and the menu.
The food was good but the octopus gets a special mention, out of this world.

Excellent local seafood restaurant, 🦞 we where recommended to visit here by our local host, really glad we did.
We shared marinated and salted anchovies to start, and then we had the seafood platter for two, which included sea bream cooked to perfection, tuna steak, swordfish, squid, and langoustines all very delicious and obviously fresh. The roasted veg that it was served with was also brilliant, the only thing that might have been nice is some fresh bread with the starter, Staff where very freindly and accommodating.

Absolutely incredible and WORTH THE WAIT! staff was so kind and friendly, and was honest about recommendations. We tried Dalmatian mussels in Split and hated them, but here they were the BEST mussels we’ve ever had. Borris was fantastic with making our dinner amazing.

By far our favorite restaurant of the island! This place should definitely have an average of 5 stars on Google! Everything is homemade and super fresh! The waiters are really passionate about their food and give really good service. Besides that the view is amazing! The dishes here are the best we ever ate. Everything is amazing but you should definitely try the octopus risotto, octopus, grenada fish, pasta with seafood and octopus salad!

By far our favourite restaurant while staying on the island. They have a wood oven making all the good wonderfully delicious. We've had mussels (big portion - enough to share!) Delicious fish, and seafood pasta. The tuna pate to start is delightful, wonderful view and the young lady that seems to run it is excellent, as are all of the other staff... They know exactly what to bring and when to bring it. Not rated people's restaurant in 2021 for nothing 🤩

Our Waiter Boris is the man you want to see at Dva Ribara. He's very knowledgeable and trust me when I tell you this, listen to his suggestions. He will not disappoint. We started with the Mussels, followed by the seafood platter for two. Let me tell you, I'm not a huge seafood dude and EVERYTHING was phenomenal. The wine suggestion, from the local Hvar region was perfect. Of course I had to follow that up with a draft beer. Again Boris' suggestion was spot on!

Came for our final night in Hvar. Push the boat out, as we say.

So we had the steak, and the grilled lamb. Both excellent. Complemented with a bottle of house red.

Great food. Great service.

Oh, and did I mention the free digestifs as the end??

Wow. Walked past this restaurant on our first night in Hvar and immediately knew we had to dine here.
Busy, great atmosphere with views of the water.
Our waiter Vok was friendly and gave us recommendations.
We decided on the fish platter for two, which was delicious.

Lovely family restaurant, chatty and friendly staff which are also family members. We like what we ordered. Sea bream, fried calamari, and sea food plate. Just found fried
calamari’s overcooked and dry. Card is accepted.

I have never eaten better fish in my life, the gregada melts in your mouth. It's one of the meals that will make you happy just by eating it. The staff were extremely welcoming and provided marvelous hospitality. Definitely must visit.

Very, VERY tasty meals! We had calamari and fresh dorada and local white wine - tryst me, you won't regret it. The fish was creamy and full of natural taste, calamari perfectly fried and not rubbery, wine was fruity and fresh, the staff was very friendly, chill and just nice! 10/10!
