I had the gnocchi truffle which was done in a mouth watering cream sauce and my partner had the black rice with calamari.

We finished with the house cake for €5 as well and it was a mouthwatering chocolate, apple and carob cake that was dense and moist.

Coming back in 4 days when we stop in Hvar one last time before split. Much more enjoyable calm atmosphere than the tourist vibe of the old city Center.

We were in Hvar for 2 nights only and I wish we came to this restaurant on both nights instead of only the last one! We got a table with a beautiful view of the beach, and both food and drinks were amazing. The grilled chicken with gorgonzola sauce was a star and had a smoky taste. We also ordered greek salad, rice with vegetables and fried potatoes. All was tasty. And a plus: their wine is house made and was divine! 👌

A little walk from the stop of water taxi. Had the best beefsteak and the green scampi pasta here in HVAR. It’s run by both dad and son. The boss recommended the red wine made by himself. 👌🏻 Had spent the best dining time with my best friend. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Amazing restaurant with stunning views. The home-made wine and olive oil are things to dream about and the service couldn't have been nicer. The food was absolutely delicious and we got delicious cake at the end to top things off. It's a hidden gem and well worth the visit.

Incredible hospitality at Villa Dinka! The owner took care of us all night, including providing a cake prepared by his wife.

The wine here is homemade and amazing value.

We had the octopus peka, which you should order the day before, and is enough to serve 2 easily.

5 stars all around. Much better prices than the rest of Hvar and an amazing view from the terrace.

Loved that restaurant. It is located on a small hill and has a great view. The day we were there the storm was coming, so it was very fresh too. Staff is very friendly and the food is simply delicious.
Google doesn't show opening hours; right now they are open for dinners, from 6 pm (I dont know if this is seasonal)

It's a nice place not in the crazy busy part of the town. It offers you a wonderful calm evening. The food is tasty and the waitress od nice and hrlpful. We ordered peka (you need to call a day earlier if you want to taste it.) The dish was great!

Highly recommend. The black rice with calamari was so incredible. The service was great, as was the homemade wine and olive oil. The view, while not on the ocean, is still great and in a nice quiet spot.

Google maps takes you a weird direction, so I'd recommend walking directly up from Bonj beach.

A hidden gem!! Came here on a whim based on good reviews and after everything downtown seemed too busy. After a short, lovely walk we found Villa Dinka. We were surprised to see we were the only ones there, but it made for a nice quiet date!

The terrace was overlooking the ocean and adorned with tons of different fresh flowers, making for great photos. We were greeted by the owner, Nikša. He answered all of our questions and made great recommendations. We ended up ordering the mussels bourazza, gnocchi with truffles, Greek salad and sea bass with shrimp sauce. Everything was phenomenal! The final touch was a chocolate cake and fresh whipped cream from Nikša’s wife, on the house. Overall a great value, with all of this plus a beer and mineral water the total was less than $75 USD.

Nikša himself was a great, jovial host and made for a fun and memorable evening. Ask him about the history of the restaurant - interesting story! We would love to come back again during our short stay on Hvar!

Such a lovely, family run restaurant. Great service. Owner makes his own wine which is really good. We had calamari to start and spagetti bol and gnocchi for mains. One of our nicest (and cheapest) meals in Hvar. Beautiful view. 7 minute walk along seafront from Hvar port. Make the trip.

Just next to the Amfora Hotel and up a slope this restaurant is a lovely find. Went here twice as it was so serene and great food. Family run it felt cosy and just a quieter experience than in the town. The tuna steak was amazing and the seafood and shellfish. Litre carafe of nice wine and friendly service. A recommend.

Go here. Eat the food and drink their wine. Yes, they make their own. Also make their own olive oil (also amazing). Much better than we had in any of the popular areas and much better prices. So good, and the owner and his wife are very welcoming and warm. It's worth the trip. Don't let this pass you by while you're in Hvar.

Great family restaurant with friendly service and owners. The food was aldo delicious. My wife and I had tagliatelle and gnocci with truffles. We had a table with a nice view of the sea. In the end, the owner invited us to prove a “travarica”, a local distilled. Recommended.

Great place to enjoy good food & wine in Hvar!!

Absolutely worth the short walk from the main restaurant area. Great food and the atmosphere and family staff really make the experience much more personal than anything you’ll get in the rest of Hvar town. Also more reasonable prices than other places.

We were so happy to run into it!
We had octopus baked with potatos and vegetables 1 kg for only 220 kunas. It’s called “Hobotnica ispod peke”. Definitely good for 2-3 people.
You have to order this dish few hours in advance or even a day in advance they told us, since the octopus is fresh and this dish has to cook slowly for few hours... yum!
We were there for an early lunch and ordered it for the dinner.
We found villa Dinka randomly just by exploring around. There’s a small path that takes you up, it is not super obvious. Look up for it :)

Lovely family owned restaurant, great food and service, superb views, a little difficult to find but definitely worth it! My tuna steak was delicious and my wife had sea bass in shrimp sauce also superb, try and support this business it’s absolutely amazing!!

Just opened for the season so was very quiet. Best meal we had that week in Hvar (and best value).

Best restaurant experience in 5 days in Hvar. Food was exceptional and the owner was very friendly and generous. Off the beaten track, authentic and good value for money. Highly recommended.
