The reviews are all true, book this place if you have the chance! My husband and I have been traveling for three months now, and Andro was the most hospitable and informative host we have had yet. He picked us up near the port, offered us tons of advice about exploring the island, and also offered us a beer (or other cold drink) on arrival. The place is meticulous, the view spectacular, and everything you need for a comfortable stay is right on hand. Also, take advantage of his recommendations, we rented a car with a 20% discount just because we gave his name. It’s a bit of a walk to the old town, but it is a really lovely walk. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Andro was an incredible host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. My partner and I are digital nomads and have stayed in 20+ places… Andro is in our top 3 hosts!

He was always available to answer any questions we had and provided GREAT recommendations for things to do in the area. The apartment was impeccably clean and had everything we needed, even kitchen supplies for cooking.

The best part? The balcony. It was VERY hot outside so we stopped a few times by the apartment and just gazed at the stunning view.

The location was also great - it was a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches we've been to in Croatia (10 minutes) and close to restaurants and bars (15-20 minutes). Overall, we had an incredible experience and would highly recommend Andro's place to anyone visiting Hvar!

Trip duration: 3 nights but we would definitely go back for much longer (suitable for long-term stays in our opinion).

Andro is an expert host. He covers all the details to make you have a comfortable staying. The apartment was clean, spacious, well located, and had everything we needed like a five star hotel.

We stayed here in 2014 but we remember it fondly! My husband got sick when we were supposed to move on to Korcula but the owners moved us to another apartment that they had available so my husband could stay in bed and rest! The owner treated us with cake upon arrival, took me to the local pharmacy when my husband got sick…always seemed to be going the extra mile! When we return to Hvar we will stay here again!

I have stayed at Komazin apartments for many years now, including this year (2021.) I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Hvar. The apartments are comfortable and clean, all with views of the sea. The area is 15 minutes walking to the center, but I prefer to stay in the more residential area, and the walk is mostly along the sea. There is parking and supermarkets close by. The best part, is the Komazin family who live downstairs. They have always made me feel welcome and are around if you need anything. Andro, who handles the bookings is the best host, one I look forward to seeing every year. He will pick people up at the catamaran so they do not need to wheel luggage too far, and he knows everything aBout Hvar, where to eat, where to drink, what to see. Nothing is too much trouble for him, he is obviously a perfectionist who wants the guests to have a good time, and fall in love with Hvar like I did. About the island.. do not come for one or two days just to visit Hvar town. Come for longer, rent a car (Dino, who rents cars and scooters just down the hill, is AWESOME) and really explore the island, which is extraordinarily beautiful with much history, pretty towns, fun drives.. and great food and wine. The Komazin family has my highest recommendation, and I travel a LOT.

The apartment is clean, modern and spacious, the location is perfectly close to the city center and great beaches are nearby. The host Andro has highest standards of service. I can highly recommend this place without any hesitation and would love to come back in the future!

Our host Andro was amazing, he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcome. Our apartment (More) was very spacious for two of us and it takes about 10-15 min walk from the ferry. I would highly recommend

Andro was a wonderful host, who greeted us at check-in with cold beers (much needed after an 8hr trip just getting from Split to Hvar by car ferry) and his mom's delicious homemade pie. He made sure we were comfortable during our stay and gave us great tips on what to see in and around the island. Apartment was large with a large terrace and all the amenities that one would need. Location is ideal as it's close to the Old City (a 15min stroll along the water) but just far enough from the partying and noise. Grocery stores are less than 5mins away by foot. Parking was never an issue as Andro always had a spot reserved for us. Finally he let us use their family's washer machine - very helpful as we've been on the road for 3+ months!

The apartment was very clean well thought out, very comfortable. Andro and his family treat us impeccably well, really lovely, with deliveries of their homemade and local tipple and mamas speciality - homemade Croatian strudel. We were picked up and dropped off at the port, though it is only a 15 minute work along the gorgeous marina, up the hill to the apartment. Superb stay, Hvar is stunning and if you go, stay here!

Rooms are specious and clean. View from numerous balconies beautiful. Andro, the host was superb! If you want to come to Hvar and be an instant insider, this is the best possible way! Andro connects all the dots. He will tell you how to make the most out of your stay in Hvar. He will make sure you get your tickets for your next ferry even if the tickets are short of supply. I will book with Andro in the future!

The apartment was clean and comfortable, easy to find, conveniently located and our host, Andro, greeted us with beer and homemade lemoncello! What more can one ask?

Very good and large apartment, walking distance to the center of the city, close to supermarkets and with free parking. Owner helped with tips on what to see and do in the area.

5+ Wir haben ein upgrade bekommen ohne danach zu fragen, mit Blick auf das Meer und den schönsten Sonnenuntergängen. Die Lage ist Top - nur 5 geh Minuten vom Hotspot. Andro und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Andro ist sehr sympatisch, er war stets zuvorkommend und sehr gastfreundlich. Er hat uns die Hotspots & must-sees auf der Karte eingezeichnet, was total hilfreich war. Er war für alle Fragen da. Was mich am meisten begeistert hat war die Sauberkeit im Zimmer - es war blitzeblank sauber, da mir dies am wichtigsten ist. Nächstes Jahr komme ich bestimmt wieder. Weiter so! Las habitación que nos toco tenía una amplia terraza. El lugar es muy cómodo y Andro, el anfitrión, fue muy amable, pues nos recomendó excelentes lugares para comer y nos dio una amplia gama de opciones de cosas a hacer en esta maravillosa isla.

Appartement dans un endroit calme avec vue sur la mer, cette appartement est sublime et très propre ! Nous avons été accueilli par l'hôte en personne qui nous a toute suite installer dans la chambre, il nous a aidé à porter nos valise, il était prêt même a venir nous chercher au ferry... L'hôte nous a donné une carte en nous montrant les endroits (resto, plage, ville) les plus magnifiques. L'hôte était disponible de jour comme de nuit.

Nous avions l'appartement orange et tout était nickel, il a pris du temps de nous donner une carte et de nous expliquer où aller.
Il y a des places de parks.

Bästa lägenheten vi någonsin bott på. Trevlig och hjälpsam värd. Otroligt rent och mysigt. Välfungerande kök extremt sköna sängar och stor balkong där du kan njuta av solnedgången på kvällen. Måste tillbaka ☀☀☀☀☀
