I recently had the pleasure of diving with diving center Viking, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. The owners' warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease, creating a friendly atmosphere that persisted throughout my time there.

One highlight of this center is undoubtedly their team of experienced guides. Not only are they knowledgeable about the local marine life, but they also possess a keen understanding of how to cater to underwater photographers. As a photography enthusiast myself, I found their assistance invaluable in capturing the stunning beauty of the underwater world.

The convenience of having dive sites in close proximity is a significant advantage. It allows for more time spent underwater and less time traveling. However, it's important to note that the impact of global warming on the corals is evident. While the center does its best to provide an enjoyable experience, if your main goal is to explore vibrant corals, this aspect might influence your plans.

Nonetheless, the scuba diving center compensates wonderfully by offering exceptional cavern dives and wreck exploration opportunities. The underwater caverns were mesmerizing, and the wreck dive was truly unforgettable experience. The dedication to maintaining these alternative attractions was apparent, and they more than make up for any limitations posed by coral issues.

In conclusion, my time at the scuba diving center was marked by friendly faces, expert guidance, and thrilling underwater adventures. I highly recommend this center to anyone seeking an extraordinary scuba diving experience that balances enthusiasm, expertise, and a touch of environmental awareness.

I went diving with 10 friends last week. 4 of us are certified divers and 6 of them are not experienced. This dive center is very easy going, good instructors and take their time to explain everything very well. All of the non experienced divers did their first dive and had a lot of fun!! We saw some octopuses and it was a great experience. Thank you so much!

We stayed there for two days / 4 dives. The guides were so amazing and made us feel very safe and comfortable (although we had our first dives there after finishing our open water license). We can absolutely recommend it!

My friend and I decided to dive with Viking while staying in a hotel nearby with my friend Paul. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. The owners and people working in the dive center are just lovely and so professional. I couldn't recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning when I am in the area. The dive center has a terrace with sunbeds and a bar right next to it incase you need to do something while waiting around. Beautiful views all around. Our dive guide was a pro and I felt like I left Hvar as a better diver just from the tips and guidance I received.

The water was clear and warm with a decent amount of sea life around. We went around beautiful rock formations and got to see octopuses which was cool.

This is 100% the dive center to go to in Hvar

I did the open.water course and my girlfriend did her advanced open water course. The instructor Stephen was very accommodating and even worked it so that we could do some dives together. It felt like our home for those 4 days.

A fantastic dive centre and a must do whilst in Hvar! The location is superb and the diving instructors are wonderful.
Will have to come back next time we’re in Hvar.

Great team, very good breefing, relaxed diving, small groups, lovely chatting. I felt completely safe. My boyfriend got a nice sunbed with access to the water for snorkling. A very wonderful day, thanks again 😊

Excellent 2 dives on a refresher. The team made it very easy to get used to all the gear and important rules again. I felt safe and could therefore enjoy the dives soooo much! Especially the second dive to the wall was amazing :)

My boyfriend and I went diving here for a "scuba update" with 2 dives. We loved it so much we came back for another morning dive. Will definitely be returning! Staff is awesome and knowledgeable. Gear provided is good quality.

I m new in the scuba diving world. During my stay on the isle of Hvar, I made two dives in the beautiful diving center Viking in Hvar. One dive from shore and another from a boat, which was my first dive from a boat and a whole new experience. Everything went smooth. The owners, Ksenja and Vinko, are extremely hospitable, kind, lovely person. The instructors are great, very professional. In the diving briefing everything was explained very clearly, with a touch of humour. In this way they deepen a sense of safety and relaxation. The equipment is brand new, great dive sites, friendly atmosphere, amazing diving center location with a great view, sunbeds, caffeteria nearby, ... Diving with Viking diving center is definitely a must do while in Hvar!

Diving Viking is a great place to make its first dive ! The place is really at a great place and Anna was very kind and gentle for my first dive, she took the time to explain and helped me a lot !

Beautifully set dive center overlooking a turqoise bay. Good equipement and lovely staff, always somebody around to help.
Finding it can be tricky, cars have to go around the hill and through a 2,5m high tunnel. A small sign is fixed to the stairs of hotel Podstine. All worth it though. The diving is lovely, some great sites with caves, makro life, many octopusses and apnea courses. The hotel has small good options for lunch, card payment possible in both hotel and dive shop. Dives are around 300 kuna with your own equipement.

Huge thanks to dive instructors!! They were extremely attentive and patient! We took a junior dive with instructors for 2 and dive 5-7 meters deep. That was our first dive ever but the team made us very comfortable under the water. The whole dive takes 30 minutes, while diving you can see a lot of fish, corals, and sea cucumbers 😁 The gear includes costume, shoes, flippers, mask and air tank. There is a shower and you can ask for towels on the reception. After the dive you can chill at the patio and enjoy the sun.
We swam in September but it wasn't cold at all. I recommend to call them beforehand as they can be a bit busy even in September. We called at 12 pm and they told us to come at 2 pm so be sure there are free time slots :) Enjoy!

I passed my Advanced Open Water certificate with my boyfriend here, and I can undoubtedly say, best diving experience of my life concerning the attention, preparation, and kindness of the staff.
We did our dives with Igor, and he’s been the best instructor one can wish for: friendly and experienced he was able to make ourselves feel at ease and benefit most from the training. On both personal and professional level an amazing instructor.
In our four days there my boyfriend and I had so many good experiences that we left with almost tears in our eyes when leaving.
All the team is highly competent and attentionate, everyone speaks perfect English so also communication was not an issue.
The diving sites are pretty and you get to see interesting stuff
Moreover, for such a nice spot as Hvar prices are more than reasonable

I highly recommend the diving center, and if you have Igor as an instructor make sure he shares with you his good jokes and endless number of interesting stories!

It is about 20 years since my first dive at Viking dive center. Ksenja and Viki are a really dear people and during the years we became a very good friends. Even I have been diving around the globe and putting on a side our friendship, it is still nice to come to Viking, watch the every year progress of the facility at the beautifull location and enjoy their fully proffessional service. They succeeded to build an international team who is sharing the same values and can not leave you without a smile and fully enjoyfull experience.

I did my first ever dive here. They offered a discovery dive. The instructors were great and explaining the necessary information clearly. I felt comfortable during the entire dive.

We had a wonderful day with the crew at Viking dive center... Lots of dive options based on skill level, brand new equipment, and knowledgeable and friendly instructors. In between dives, we relaxed at their patio area with sunbeds, and it was a perfect break in the day. 100% would recommend and hope we can make it back to Hvar!

The whole place is managed extremely well and I also loved their terrace where I have spend the whole afternoon on the sunbed while waiting for my ferry ride out the island. Highly recommended to everyone who plans to dive in Hvar!

Fantastic dive center! The instructors & owners are the most patient, hospitable and all-round warmest people. I made my very first dive there and it was an amazing experience. They offer a large range of courses and dive locations, as well as night dives. Anyone looking for their first or hundredth dive should definitely go here!
