Riva Marina - Hvar Hotel

Fantastic hotel at the harbour! Stylish decor, comfortable beds and great dining/lounge options. Breakfasts were phenomenal. The staff goes out of their way to create a memorable stay on this super fun island in Croatia. Shout out to Martha for her attention to detail during our stay at the Riva Marina Hotel. Definitely recommend a stay here when in Hvar.

Location, location, location!! Ideal spot to explore the city, directly in front of the ferry terminal and next to Carpe Diem. Yes, it’s expensive but it was a delight for us. They took care of the basics well - we probably slept better here than for most of our trip: the comfy bed, high thread count linens, down bedding, sound proof double-paned windows, rain shower with locally made toiletries and AC put us in a state of bliss after a day of adventuring. Breakfast was also a pleasure and service was excellent throughout.

This hotel is excellent - beautifully appointed. Feels more like a 5 star boutique hotel. Has the absolute best location where you can sit outside and people watch everyone on the dock getting on/off Yahts etc. luxurious bedding excellent shower although a little hard to figure out ;)

We had the most amazing experience at Riva on our honeymoon this August, 2023. The most comfortable bed and best service we received from all of our stops throughout Croatia. They had sweet treats and champagne waiting in our room when we checked in. The only hotel we had that truly celebrated our honeymoon and it was amazing! They were renovated recently, the design is very sleek and modern and everything was very clean and nice. The best location on Hvar, right on marina. Easy walkability to all restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. If you come in on the ferry like we did it is about 50 steps away. Great breakfast included with views of the water and all the yachts coming in. I hope we get to come back to Riva in the future, thank you!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment we got off the ferry, we were taken care of. They had everything we needed, beach towels, an iron and ironing board, right when we asked. The staff were incredibly kind and professional and were available at all hours. The room was excellent quality and offered a balcony with a beautiful view of the port. The complimentary breakfast is delicious, and the location can’t be beat. Beautiful views and steps away from the city center.

Definitely a great value. The hotel is very chic and charming reminded me hotels in Nantucket, MA but fraction of the cost. The deco is coastal appropriate for the location
Location couldn’t be better, literally 10 steps from where speedboat from Split and others yachts dock but hotel is so well insulated you can’t hear the noise at all in the room.
Room is what you expect to see in NYC, relatively small for some but it’s fine for two, the bathroom and shower is large, not the European bathroom.

Service is great, the hotel doesn’t have swimming pool and spa but you can use those at the “sisters hotel” ie hotel Adriana Hotel which is also nice.

This is the hotel to stay at in Hvar! The location can't be beat! It is right in the promenade and you can look at all the megayachts docked every night. It also has this great outdoor restaurant/bar right in front. The seats have toward the promenade so it provides great people watching as you have drinks. Easy walk to the quant streets and restaurants. The hotel itself is great. Awesome rooms, great front seating area inside. Great staff, when we come back we are definitely staying here!

This was our favourite place for a drink in Hvar, we kept coming back! The seats are super comfy, and it has the best view of all of the boats and yachts coming & going. We could have sat here all day, it’s definitely worth a visit…

We had a lovely stay here at Riva Marina, located right off the ferry terminal of Hvar Croatia. Our room was clean and we had a nice view of the harbor, with sound proof windows that made it nice and quiet for us indoors while there’s hustle and bustle outside. Breakfast was included and the food was delicious. Our waiter Nikola was attentive and courteous. Other waiters we’ve had here were also service oriented. Added bonus was being able to use the sauna, spa, gym, and pool of sister hotel Adriana a short walk away. We’d come back for another visit.

This hotel was styled to perfect, with incredible service. Impeccable breakfast and amenities. I stayed here for one night on my honeymoon and was overjoyed with the beautiful styling, furniture and comfort of the room.
The location is right on the wharf and at the centre of everything. Couldn’t have been more perfect for island hopping and going out on the water.

Great location, nice bar and servers outside, lousy air conditioning, couldn't get the room below 26C (78F) and if you leave the windows open there's partying until the wee hours of the morning. Wonderful breakfast.

Lovely seafront restaurant with comfy seating and nice breeze. Staff were really friendly. We got two smoothies which were both delicious and very much needed

Nikola and Goran provided exceptional service at this waterfront restaurant. We mainly came for a drink, but ended up staying for drinks. It was a little more costly than some of the restaurants near the square, but here we had a great view and comfy couches.

Wonderful staff and location. Breakfast was 10/10, Nicola the waiter treated us like princes at each meal. If you come to Croatia, the Marina is the only option.

The Riva Marina is a fabulous hotel. We did experience a few teething problems when we arrived but these were soon sorted.. These were all due to them recently (15 days!!) Re opening after a complete refurbishment... The location overlooking the marina is stunning.. You could spend all day in the outdoor area people watching and being serviced anything you desired... We loved the buzz.. Our room had a balcony with a view of the harbour.. Its was compact but has everything you need.. The bed was super comfy with high quality linen. All the staff at the hotel just want to please. We had breakfast on the terrace the array of food offered are all of high quality.. They have a great selection of cooked breakfasts which are individually cooked for you.. Its a special hotel, the lounge area is quiet if you just want some time or to do some work We really wish them well. Our top tip is to catch a local water taxi and visit some of the smaller islands the sea sparkles the views are beautiful.. We will be back to stay.. Thank you for looking after us.. Amazing hotel!!!! Staff was 10/10 location was perfect and beds were SO comfortable. Breakfast buffet was stunning cant wait to come back!

The placement of this hotel is absolutely great! Right on the harbour, so it meant that the view from the window was AMAZING!! It does make it noisy though. I had war plugs so was ok from the outside noise but the bedroom doors let a lot of noise in from the corridor, people returning late from partying etc.The breakfast was lovely. Such a nice experience sitting outside by the harbour and ordering from a menu. The lady on front desk was lovely and helpful too.

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did work from here for a day and was delighted with the experience. Marko, the waiter, was very attentive, and was quite happy for me to work here despite a busy service. Wifi was great and free, perfect for work meetings. Kept me supplied with a steady stream of coffee, coca-cola and beer. Would return!

We did not stay at the hotel, but we visited the Riva Marina bar. Our server Marko was amazing, always smiling, super professional and very helpful. He made our day! He seems to be great at his job and is definitely a big addition to the company!

Great staff. Excellent b’fast; broadest range and best prepared of all Croatia. A super place to play and rejuvenate.
