I contacted them by email, to send a work colleague a gourmet basket.
They kindly answered and gave me the options, explaining the total cost including the shipping and prepared the basket including the products I asked for, sent me a picture to confirm I like it and delivered it on the day and time I asked.

Loved my first visit. So many unique items that are difficult to find elsewhere. Purple Brussels sprouts, Confetti Pelino, and boxes of Scandinavian Christmas gingerbread. It was all so tempting

Exactly what was needed for this street.

Totally agree with the 5p discount comment, I like the store and shop there regularly and I always have to remind the staff to take off the 5p charge. They forget to discount even after asking me if I have my own bag.

I believe you should change your software where it automatically discounts the 5p and only charges it when a bag is used from your store, not the other way around. Just like any other grocery store in the UK. If you use a bag then you get charged, full stop.

Otherwise the staff have to always remember and risk forgetting and result in having a discussion about it, I find it ridiculous even when they get it right because it displays that I get a discount of 5p on the screen like I am doing someone a favour.

In fact, you should opt to charge more for your bags as they aren’t necessarily environmentally friendly and that would encourage your customers better behaviour where they bring their own bags. I’ve been penalised for bringing my own back a few times now as I got charged so many time and it was too late since the transaction had already happened.

A simple change of software will save you a lot of hassle.

good store , cultured product range , Danish and pastries are of particular good value , and most importantly , the staff are actually trained in manners and customer service using please and thankyou at the check appropriately, a rarity nowadays , wholefoods for example don't bother, the automated tills are more polite than the staff .. So its very commendable that the staff are well trained in Sage and bailey, at least one mini chain still holds value in traditionalism as far as manners. respect and politeness .. Don't change or fall in to same trap as some of your competitors ..

I bought few items that turn to be past expiry date, but it was all refunded at my next visit. Very nice shop and exactly what was needed at the area, but please check the expiry dates while shopping. Hope they sort it out one day..
