Smyths Toys Superstores Ipswich

A very well laid out store with plenty of space to zoom about for those with mobility issues. The toys are grouped into interest categories and the stock goes right to the ceiling. I watched a staff member collect an enormous unicorn from high up for a customer. Another helpful staff member showed me where the toilet facilities were - very useful when you have little ones. They have everything from baby equipment and toys, to teenager 'toys' and beyond. The stock is well labelled and reasonably priced.

Assistant Jade went above and beyond to help. Chatted to our autistic Grandaughter with humour and interest. Really appreciated. ❤

Took my son here, he had a great time investigating the toys and deciding what he would like. We didn't feel rushed or pressured, there was good space in the aisles to move around other customers and see what we needed.

I used to love it here as a kid now in here it is well organised <3

We had an issue we weren’t sure we could resolve with a faulty baby monitor we purchased 6 months a go. We had lost the receipt but spoke to the amazing store manager Aled who helped us so much. Explained who to call so they could go back and email the receipt l, which we did. We went back to the store 20 minutes later and swapped it out for a new one, thanks again for making this easy!

When something goes wrong, how a company deals with it tells you a lot about how much they really care. Smyths in Ipswich dealt with our complaint really well. They admitted they'd made a mistake and did everything to put it right. This meant my grand kids had their bikes and were really happy. I always shop at Smyths because I've got confidence in them .Thanks Smyths of Ipswich

Best toy shop I have been to in a while they have the lot.

My partner and I recently visited the Smyth's at the Anglian retail park, and asked for some assistance with buggies and car seats. We were very lucky to be assisted by Star who was such a lovely lady, really good costumer service, polite, helpful and informative so thank you very much.

I highly recommend this store. I had brilliant customer services by Darren who was so helpful when I called about my click and collect order and then when I came to pick the item up. He offered such a personable, good quality customer service. The shop is clean, well organized, and the staff are super friendly.

Staff are fantastic and very friendly, especially Hayley she went over and beyond to help sort out my son's bike will definitely shop there again ☺

Been in today to buy some of our children's christmas presents, no idea where to start looking (42 year old man!) but lucky i was assisted 3 times by 3 of your great staff members.
Firstly by a young man hanging up 6ft caterpillars 😀( sorry didn't catch his name), then by Clem and finally by Natalie all knew the store products inside out and went straight to the correct place.
This was good polite service and good store knowledge by all, especially by Natalie as she said she was just temporary, but still cared enough to give great customer service.
All are a credit to your store. Thanks for making my shopping trip that little bit easier.

Amazing customer service today resolving an issue with on line purchase. Cannot thank them enough for saving the day. Always found store easy to navigate and staff really friendly and helpful.

Took my children out for a treat,
Arrived at store and was amazed at lack of
Staff, also many shelves were empty of toys, some toys had no price on them or on the shelf so spent a bit of time trying to find a staff member to get price, then queued up at till just to get price,
Overall not worth the time going,
Very disappointed,

Visited today having heard that they have a Baby section as we were looking for a buggy/ carrycot/ car seat package for the impending arrival of a granddaughter and had been disappointed with the nearby adjacent baby specialist store.
Rebecca and her colleague were amazingly helpful, knowledgeable on the products, demonstrated them and took great care of us. Even have a car seat to demonstrate the Isofix system for child seats.
All staff were friendly and helpful, product purchased was great with 4 year guarantee and competitively priced, could not recommend more highly.
Baby section well stocked and diverse range of products, recommend a visit rather than to the "specialist" stores for baby equipment. Rebecca in particular, offered a relaxed informative induction to the products, with no pressure or time constraints, all in all a great experience. Well done all.

Went there to get a new car seat and rebecca in the baby section could not of been more helpful! She even came outside to the car to make sure we fitted it correctly, very good customer service

It's a really friendly store with a great selection of stuff. We didn't purchase anything this time but it's always nice to see items in person and look at the boxes which I feel shopping online lacks. This is a great store with great staff.

Aisles after aisles of toys & I think everything is catered for, boys & girls alike & prices ain't too bad really & they do have some good offers on certain ranges. The aisles are a decent width & this shop will make your child smile & your wallet cry lol.

Absolutely love our Ipswich store they went above and beyond on Christmas eve so my granddaughter had her cosy coupe fairy car after i had some issues putting it together I arrived at the store but couldnt manage to get it all in as it was partly made up so the lovely Hayley came to my rescue as im disabled then the superhero of the hour Dom not only sorted the problem out but they put the car together for me which gave me time for a wonder and a chat with Becky over in the baby Isles such lovely caring staff well done and thankyou from the bottom of my heart as i couldnt of done it without you you went way above and beyond to help me in my hour of need on Christmas eve 2021 xxx

Very helpful staff went above and beyond, bought a car seat and the woman that gave us advice knew everything we asked even the more awkward questions. Fantastic service.
