An old favourite of mine. I popped into the shop to browse the DVD selection.And I was pleased to find a few titles that I wanted to watch . The good thing about CEX is they are always busy. I would love to buy more of their equipment and software. I am hoping that I can get the newish Queen DVD. Bohemian rhapsody when it is available.

I had picked up a parcel at the post office next door which was unexpectedly large and too large for my backpack I brought, I didn't have 30p for a bag which WHSmith wouldn't give - so went and asked at CEX and Crystal there was kind enough to let me have a bag for free with handles so I could cycle home with the package, which was above and beyond WHSmith was willing to do so can highly recommend this shop and Crystal that works there! Quality customer service, - thank you very much!

I love this place. I always look there first if I'm buying technology. I recently started paddle boarding and couldn't bear the idea of a £500 Go Pro dropping in the drink so I bought a cheaper Campark for £130. Rubbish. Sent back for refund and bought a Go Pro 5 for £150 which is so much better. Came with kit as shown and a 2 year guarantee.

It's all second hand, and has different grades of cosmetics, really good because you can see what you get and the warranty let's you return it if its not right

Straight up good value. My son bought several games and movies for a few pounds. I'd recommend checking here before ordering anything online, including gaming consoles, phones, cameras, bits for PCs etc. All come with a warranty so less risky than most 2nd hand places

A great place to buy used electrical devices as well as video games and TV and film DVDs. However, twice experienced problems with purchasing from their website. Order two items which when they arrived did not correspond with the image on the website. They did though refund our costs. The staff were friendly, helpful and very apologetic

It's a great store. You can find some awesome stuff in there. Last time went with my Boyfriend and found The Legend of Zelda, Collectors Edition, box and all for around £35 and Extended editions of The Two Towers and The Fellowship Of The Ring, which are Lord of the Rings DvDs and the two of them came under £10 from what I remember :)

Had issues with an Apple Watch I bought from CEX online, so took it in to them and they spent roughly 40minutes helping me out.
Watch needed to be refunded, however they arranged an exchange for what is now a better colour Apple
Watch.

This is the modern day Blockbuster with more fun. The prices are good and the service are always professional. I like the guarantees for electronics bought and the low prices for new gadgets. I have made this place my regular for electronics and movies.

Bought a PS3 game which I was unable to get anywhere else

This is my local store. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable; I'd gone in to return a poorly sent item ordered online and it was sorted swiftly without fuss even though it didn't originate from them. They knew how to handle it and CeX allows online returns in store.

This is the biggest problem with CeX stores, some are bad (usually the older ones, where bad habits run rife - like shipping laptops in a jiffy bag...), some are good - the Fareham one is one of the good ones, buy here with confidence, enjoy the discount and know you're doing your recycling bit as well.

I wanted to return an Ipod touch which had an issue and Tom? (Store manager) was extremely helpful with the entire process. He was polite and knowledgable when asked several questions regarding my issue. He is a credit to the company.

Very nice members of staff, lovely to talk to. Just wish I could have stayed a bit longer. Would recommend, had a lovely selection of games and bits of hardware.

I think CEX is a brilliant concept in recycling. Staff are friendly and know their stock. They are helpful and polite and willing to exchange goods. They will buy used items if they can. In all my dealings with CEX, I have been pleasantly surprised.

Some people are super critical of CEX especially trade in values, but I've always found 2nd hand games for my kids and for me that I actually want at great prices and trading in an old mobile that was just sitting in the sock drawer for a higher value(about 30-40% more than the cash value) in store credit is a no brainer and in my opinion a pretty good deal too! The staff at the Fareham branch are friendly knowledgeable and efficient and on more than one occasion they've given me sound advice that has saved me money.

Good game bargain shop. Husband got the Last of Us II on a steel case from here at a very good price.
