I only had 5 mins before the store closed and the staff was so helpful and attentive, I needed 6 ballon’s for an event and they really helped! They all worked together so nicely to blow up the ballon’s just before they close. Thanks so much!!

I really like coming here. Most of the time I find a book that intrigues me. Also I get some useful stationary. The shop caters well for children, with a selection of books, toys and puzzles.
I'm now taking a serious interest in their supply of art materials.

Guy with the tattoos who works at the till is the kindest and most helpful sales assistant ever. He most definitely deserves a raise

I have been to the shop to buy some balloons for a party and there was a man with some tattoos on the face working there. I saw him serving several people and I just wanted to mention how nice he was with everyone. He was actually so nice that I am writing this review weeks after going there.

I will start off by saying that just from entering the shop looks great, it is always clean and stock up well. Staff is always smiling and happy to help. I had few opportunities to talk to the manager Jess and I cannot talk high enough about her. You're really good at focusing on what customers need and require. You have a real instinct to understand your customers. Good work! Thank you

The staff here are absolutely brilliant. They are always helpful offering useful advise and helping to find the perfect gifts. The store is always clean and tidy, which considering the amount of stock on display must not be easy. My favourite art shop.

Unfortunately no small paper bags for my book.

I pop in last week as I needed a new book and couple other things like a notebook. Was very happy with my experience in the store. I was helped by the manager who was very helpful. Book section was very organised and tidy! Definitely be popping in there again!

We generally pop into The Works a few times a month, they've got a good selection of pocket money toys & activities and the staff is always on hand & helpful. Prices are also very reasonable & the constant stock updates mean there is always something new to see.

I use the works for all our arts and crafts, games and books! I buy multiple items when I go and put them away for each time were invited to a party! It's a great way of being organised too. Jess has been super generous yhis year and offered our local school items for our Xmas raffle. Thank you again! 😊

I have just bought Pele His Life and Times as a Valentines day
present for my husband and was served by BAADAL. He was polite, friendly and very helpful. You don't always have that experience nowadays. Thank you Baadal.

Great place to find small presents for kids, they have a lot of cheaply priced toys. Staff is friendly and helpful and the loyalty scheme is very good. Great value for money and items out of the ordinary can be purchased here
