Located in the high street, ideal for foot traffic and with the prices. Likely to be not disappointed with the products at that price. Lots of health and beauty products near the front of entrance. The clothes are near the back of the shop, there is more a selection for women, just about in my opinion. They is Also some cold drinks near the end when your going to pay.

They have incense sticks in 3 "flavours" as they are called. Can't find another high street shop that sells them. They have a much better range of items now, at good prices.

I like Poundland. Lovely selection of just about everything. Could do with a larger selection of mens clothing though.

If you are a tourist or visiting the university with your kids this is a godsend. Excellent selection of just about everything you could need or may have forgotten to pack. Meal deal selections are amazing and only £2.75 for a drink, sandwich or pasta, and crisps or sweet. Self service tills mean no queues. We found everything we needed for our 3 days in town.

This store is amazing, the staff members work really hard to ensure customer satisfaction even though they are really short staffed. People like Ali Saeed who come into the store and call the staff members “a monkey” and then expect the staff to be sunshine and rainbows towards him need to back off and also when people like that write a review they should also include their bad behaviour.

Enough said.

Staff are the reason we return. Now there are fridge & freezers, there is always a better bargain. I prefer going in the evenings on weekdays as its not so busy. I understand staffing can be difficult, but it is a busy store so peak times can be a nightmare trying to buy one thing and the que is too long its not worth it.

Great store but Dnt always have what u need in stock and unfortunately the staff ain't all that helpful.

Just a quick visit to pick up a phone lead, had exactly what I needed, store was fresh n clean, staff were amazing.

Poundland is a really handy store for all types of people - l started shopping there for batteries which enabled us to test and sell items in our local charity-shop. When l spend time in there l always find things l need. I find it surprising how helpful the staff are, especially the manager, considering how busy they always are!

It always has everything I need. But it's not really poundland anymore. They have other cheap things like clothes. For kids and adults. Man or woman. Nice shop though. But paintbrushes I bought for £5 was £1 or £2 before. Not worth the money tho

I'm over the moon with this amazing store and it's staff. I had a seizure in Poundland, and the first aider dealt with it incredibly! He helped me and knew exactly what to do. This an example of how medically-trained people should be, and the rest of the world should take note!

You have to hand it to Poundland, they really do offer the most extraordinary value for money. Yet still manage to offer first class customer service. I've always avoided self service tills, until I had to use one at Poundland. I really had no idea of what to do. The barcode simply didn't work, until a member of staff explained I had my thumb over it! She then patiently showed how to use the till. Thanks Poundland, keep up the good work.
