Came here after a friend suggestion, and it was really great. The atmosphere is just the right one for an English pub, the staff was very nice and the food just amazing. Also, being in Covent Garden (one of my favourite neighborhoods), the prices were good. Try the fish and chips with beer, so good!

Been in the UK for a week plus. This was a great find on our last night. Ordered a chicken and beef pie and mashed. They said it would take 25 minutes like that was abnormally long. I think I have waited longer for fast food… service was excellent, food was delicious. And the atmosphere made the 25 mins seem like 5. Highly recommend. Cheers.

Recently visited this pub and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was absolutely inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening out. They also serve Neck Oil, which is always a plus for fans of this brew. Most notably, the staff were incredibly friendly and made sure our experience was top-notch. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a chilled evening with good beer!

I visited here on my hk friend's recommendation. We had best fish and chips and some beers! I do remember one of my friends cried because it was so delicious!

This place also has great mood. Especially, I remembered that people drank their beers and had conversations standing while this places.

Came here for the Sunday roast lunch which was amazing. We both had the Pork which was cooked perfectly.! The roast potatoes were crisp and the other veggies were all roasted to perfection. Coupled with a pint of Guinness the whole experience was one we will return for.

Lovely little independent pub. Small menu but great food at good prices, not as 'same-y' as the franchised pubs we usually found. Drinks were pricier than other pubs we have been to but we didn't mind as it's going to a small business and the food more than made up for it. Haloumi fries amazing - went back another day to have them again.

Cosy atmosphere, delicious food and variety of beer options to choose from. Fish & chips was delicious, and the pie with liquor was very good as well. We had to wait for food quite long, however we were okay as the overall we were happy to enjoy classic pub experience and read the history about it.

On a dreich Saturday night in London it’s hard to find somewhere you can enjoy your time without a ten deep bar or teenager filled toilet but if there is an oasis of calm in the west end it’s the Crown and Anchor. Great selection of draughts and tables spread over two floors. It somehow manages to remain pleasant amidst the chaos. Friendly bar staff and outside drinking all a bonus. A great pub

Really nice central London pub. No beer garden but a big area across the street outside urban outfitters you can drink in. Bonus points for the nice outdoor plastic beer glasses, not the flimsy cheap ones most pubs serve outdoor bevs in! Nice staff and big area inside

This is the place to unwind at night. Wonderful choice of food and drinks and the unforgettable atmosphere, the place can be crowded at night, especially on weekends.

This Traditional Pub and Restaurant located in the energetic Seven Dials area on Neil Street Covent Garden..as we choose this pub we first entered and walked upstairs to view the dining area and we almost decided to have a quick bite but we really wanted to enjoy our meal in this cozy space and we had a musical yo attend at The Donmar….so we seated ourselves in the main entrance area and really enjoyed our ales in a robust atmosphere and friendly environment…one of the best pub experiences in our 8 days in London..we will be back for some Traditional Pub Food..

Very attentive hardworking staff and a perfect pint. The best service I’ve had in a pub in London. Asked five times if I wanted a drink when I’d already been served. Friendly, profesional staff. Makes such a difference

Great experience. Good drinks, friendly staff, vegan and gluten free options. Able to watch soccer / football (without sound), but if you’re looking for a more chill pub experience, it’s excellent.

Cute pub in central London (bit spenny but to be expected in the area.) Staff are lovely and the exterior is really beautiful.

As a tourist, it was the first pub I went to here in Richmond. Will definitely come back, such a nice atmosphere and thank you to James, such nice conversations we had. Really felt at home, even though I’m from Canada. Will definitely recommend the place.

Really nice little pub. Food really nice & the staff are really friendly. The lady was more than happy to make a nice Bailey's latte which was really nice too!

Excellent!! Super atmosphere, very attentive staff and very tasty pub food. We particularly also liked the music: Oldies mixed with Britpop and 80ies. We will definitively be back.

Held retirement celebration on first floor. Excellent space, great food and brilliant staff. Highly recommend this pub.
