Fantastic venue. Tonnes of history with some brilliant architecture. It is a bit of a maze but this means that each area of the building has its own unique character. A great venue for meetings and events. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The headquarters of the RSA in a warren of mainly 18th century buildings. Always busy with Fellows working at laptops and conferences taking place in the theatre and beautiful assembly rooms. There is a substantial library and the coffee house serves breakfast, light lunches and snacks along with the best coffee in London.

From the Coffee House, to its Steps, to the varied captivating conference rooms, banquet halls, parlors, and studies, were one to liken The RSA’s floor plan to that of complimentary interlinked microcosms within a galaxy home to those who Design for Life, I’d say they quite literally hit the nail on the head.

In other words, each section of the RSA is so sufficiently unique, and simultaneously stimulating, that one could visit day in and day out and be hard pressed to have the same experience twice.

Be it thought provoking panels and forums, works that awe and inspire, spaces that catalyze outside the box thinking, or the genuinely uplifting talent that keeps the Royal Society of Arts running like a well-oiled machine (props Barbara 🤝), there’s nothing quite like getting to enjoy an hour or three at 8 John Adam Street.

What a pleasure to be here in the most artistic environment. Every minute was worth spending. Gained a lot and also been honoured

We used the Tavern room recently for a business event. The staff were really helpful, everything was set up when we arrived and the drinks menu had a good choice and selection.

The Coffee House at RSA is so welcoming. I am getting to know the crew as I am increasingly visiting the RSA for meetings. Yesterday I had the most amazing freshly made burger with delicious sweet potato fries. Just wish I'd taken a photo. You'll just have to take my word for it!

Away from The House for a prolonged period, this being our first visit since the renovations.
The new library layout and resources are fantastic. Had forgotten what a pleasure and privilege this is for Fellows. Browsing up and down and through the new levels is a delight.
Will definitely re-energise our visits and resume a dedicated reading/research schedule.
Great coffee, and service in the cafe as always...

A great place to meet in central London, in an august institution going back 276 years, always at the heart of social change. Good cafe for snacks and lunch, with tables set up to enable chance meetings with other change makers. If you're making change happen, you can apply to be a Fellow and acquire the FRSA suffix if that floats your boat!

Really lovely space for both meetings and working. Am a fellow there and enjoy their free lectures and events as well. They’ve just refurbished the whole bottom floor, which now has a very spacious and well laid out cafe. Totally recommend if you’re into thought leadership and networking with those who are as well!

Since October 2022 I have organised several dinners at the RSA. On each occasion, the RSA team have delivered a fantastic service with flexibility, precision and charm. Special mentions to Michael, Nora, Nevada, Alan and Raquel and thanks to the catering team who reliably met the varied dietary requirements of every one of my guests.

I visited the RSA to take part in the Big Help Out launch event representing Guide Dogs. The venue is lovely and the architecture of the building is exquisite

I haven't been here before but it's architecturally very interesting.

The event I am attending is the Manifesto for Happiness Event organised by the Action for Happiness organisation which has just carried out an event for January called the Action for Happiness calendar which suggests a daily action each day in January.

Nice room. Airy and pleasant. A 'full house' too.

The cafe was recommended. Was a nice experience as I was expecting the tea to be at least £3. Was 2 and a nice brew.

Slightly small as I had to stand at a counter to drink the good brewed tea.

Brilliant venue for professional functions but also a wonderful setting to do a little work and be inspired. The food and drink at the Rawthmills coffee house is also excellent. Last time I went I had a delicious root vegetable soup with a wild garlic butter.

We booked the RSA for a one-day conference/event in September 2021. A HUGE thank you to Laura (Head of Sales and Marketing) and the team for making everything run so smoothly! From the AV team to the catering staff, to reception, everyone from RSA that we dealt with was completely professional and efficient.

I was quite nervous about hosting a hybrid event, but it all went off without a hitch. We also had feedback from several of our guests raving about the venue, food, and logistics. Special thanks to the AV technicians who made everything so seamless. And to Laura for helping set everything up so perfectly.

Would love to have an event with them again!

My wife and I :) held our wedding at the RSA in September 2021, and it could not have gone better. The RSA is a wonderful venue, with an amazing team who did everything to ensure we had a special day. We used the Benjamin Franklin, the Great Room and the Vaults throughout the day, with each having its own style, which kept guests guessing and each part of our day felt truly different. We always wanted a wedding venue that felt traditional but also modern and contemporary and the RSA really exemplifies this. Olivia and the team supported us through not one, but two (!) postponements, and were so gracious and hospitable in accommodating our every need. Olivia really helped in the lead up and on the day and we honestly couldn’t have done it without her. All our guests felt that the food was terrific, especially the Texas-themed market stall at the end of the night - you can’t go wrong with fried chicken and waffles to keep you going into the night! We honestly couldn’t recommend the RSA highly enough. It’s an amazing location, a couple minute’s walk from the Strand, on a quiet road and the building itself is a sight to behold, both inside and out. So many of our guests have said what an amazing place the RSA is, and we are so glad we picked it as our venue. T&L
