I am impressed by the service I always receive there. Either it is the reception staff for the parking permit or the Ambulatory Care staff. It has been beyond my expectations. I see so many bad reviews and I would say things dont always go 100 %. We are getting this amazing service by Macmillan for free and I dont see any reason to complaint. Thank you for the good service !

It’s a shame some people haven’t had great experiences from what I have seen. I personally love this place and respect all the people that work here. Yes the odd person might have a bad day, we all do. But the staff in general are super nice , the nurses on the third floor are incredible and the haematology consultants are amazing. I’ve never felt unheard or nervous as they are always quick to help me (which I’ve required very very frequently unfortunately). None of my symptoms or concerns or worries are ever too much for them or are ever dismissed. These are the people that help get me through day to day, I couldn’t thank them enough!

If ever there is a case for proving how wrong Brexit was. It is this hospital the staff here are from all over the world and they are fantastic people. Every member of staff in this hospital treats you with compassion and respect. Having cancer is an incredibly scary experience. But you in good hands in this hospital. It can be intimidating just walking through the door, but don’t fear they will take care of you very well. There maybe a lot of waiting around, no there is definitely a lot of waiting around. They are extremely busy people and tests take time especially as they are double and treble checked. Some of the time you may wonder what the hell your waiting for. Please take a deep breath and chill even when you wonder what they are doing. Rest assured they work tirelessly especially behind the scenes. Your life is in there hands so please exercise patience and smile and say thank you, those two words mean a great deal to every member of the UCH staff including the volunteers. Most of all fight with every fibre and help these people to help you. I can’t thank everybody here enough for helping us and looking after my beloved wife. The government don’t give a dam about these people. But they will expect them to be there should they or their families need them. This hospital is amazing a national treasure and it’s staff are truly angels 😇

I had a CT scan at the MCC. The experience was very positive. The appointment was 10:30, I was taken in 15 mins early and done by 10:30. The CT scan nurse was one of the nicest and kindest nurse I've ever met, explaining the procedure in detail, showing compassion. Fantastic experience and the results luckily for me for all clear too.

My wife was diagnosed with Mutliple Myeloma in last year. Throughout the last year, she has been received great care and love from the staff in this center. This was the most tough year in our family. Without their support, we can't imagine how we handle her in last year.

I don't understands why the government not putting more resource and giving better paid to the health care staff. They will be leaving for another country if they continue to ill-treated by the government. I only see UK does not treasure the professional people and let them leave but not other countries.

They have been looking after my son for the past 5 years, treating him for Cancer, and they are absolutely superb. Cannot praise them enough. My son also has Autism/ADHD/ODD, and they have dealt with his treatment so well, and worked around him.

I had my first appointment in January where I saw a consultant, had a mammogram and ultrasound and then saw a consultant again. Booked in for surgery 5 weeks later. Can honestly say that this is an outstanding service because of the people who work within it. You are all amazing and I am very thankful and grateful.

My husband, J. was sent to the Centre for a PET/MRI scan. We were greeted, made to feel at ease and thoroughly informed of what to expect during the procedure. The questionnaire was simple to complete and the team member, Chennie(?) was competent and thorough throughout the entire process. In fact, other team members were also competent, friendly and although busy, took time to answer my questions.

The unit was clean , well managed and we would like to thank everyone for an excellent level of service delivery.

All in all, excellent. Thank you

An oasis of therapeutic tranquility unlike anything I've ever experienced in the NHS - quiet, caring, unrushed staff in clean uncluttered surroundings

The UCLH Cancer Centre is bright, light, clean environment. It is a comfortable familiar welcoming building, the staff are excellent, most who have come from the West Middlesex Hospital and subsequently the Rosenheim building.

This building represents the NHS at it's best, top consultants and nurse specialists who really care about you as an individual and strive for the best treatment and standards.

The waiting times can be long, but it's worth the wait and is well located just off Tottenham Court Road, easily accessible from Euston Square, Warren Street and Googe Street tube stations, plus supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies etc.

On entering the main building there is ample seating, toilets and a well stocked shop (magazines and choices) plus a small Costa providing hot drinks. The Macmillan information suite is a great place for support, information and getting to know the volunteers. The lower ground floor is scanners, xray and blood tests. The other floors consist of haematology, outpatient clinics, chemotherapy suite, young persons unit etc.

Well done Macmillan Centre for the way in which you remained open and functioning after the water leak on 21 December. When so many organisations view a crisis as a reason to close or cancel you kept going.
A big THANK YOU.
