Putney's live music pub. The likes of Kate Bush and The Rolling Stones have graced the stage her over the years. There's a gig on most nights.

Excellent pub with great live music. Food service has undergone a great overhaul in last year. Staff is super helpful and was very accommodating to last minute family birthday event with children, unlike some other local pubs when we requested similar setup. Definitely recommend for families on the weekend, but come without kids if seeing a live show.

Ben Waters birthday gig is a night that I won't forget in a hurry. It's not often that you can see a Rolling Stone playing in a pub ,
a month later I'm still buzzing.

Great place. Terrific traditional pub by itself is worth a visit but the legendary band room makes it priceless and iconic.

Good Putney pub. 3 cask beers on handpump when I visited. Decent sized garden to the rear some of it covered.

The pub is a famous live music venue and has been hosting gigs every day since the 1960s. Gigs are in a separate back room well soundproofed from the bar.

Surprisingly quiet before the Spurs game at Craven Cottage.

Great pub in Putney, plenty of seating and a brilliant separate room for concerts. We watched a Depeche Mode tribute band who played for 2.5 hours. Excellent venue.

We visited for a Cuban afternoon. The food was amazing and the cocktails were too. D.J played fab Cuban music and people got up and danced and enjoyed the summer afternoon into the evening. Toilets were clean and accessible and travel links good. Sainsburys local petrol station right next door if you need it. A fabulous venue. That also boasts a rooftop area

Went to see Absolute Bowie tribute and it was amazing! The half moon is one of the places for live music and we go a lot. Drinks are london prices so expect to pay £7+ for a pint. Music room is usually a sell out so try to get there for doors if you want a good perch.

I’ve only marked the food down as it was a busy Friday and a lot had run out. Jack our server was amazingly friendly, attentive and helpful! Great fun evening. Thank you.

Had my birthday drinks there and we had such a nice time. It's just the right noise level in there, with a good number of seats both inside and outside, to have a great gathering with your friends. Also the team are so responsive via email! Lovely vibes and a tightly run ship - one of my fave places to go in Putney.

Just the perfect small live music venue!

Fantastic venue. We had a drink in the bar before going through to watch the band, the sound was excellent and there was a great atmosphere without feeling too crammed in. Staff were helpful and friendly too. I will definitely visit again soon.

Always good service and nice range of ales.
I'm alcohol free and they have Estrella and another choice on tap!

Phenomenal small gig venue... it often sells out early so don't hang about. :)

i love coming to this pub, it’s my local and never fails to disappoint, the staff are amazing and always so accommodating, the music is phenominal and the food is good! would defintely recommend if you’re in the area.

Not been here for many years but it's as good as I remember. Bar has a great selection of draught and even though there was a sold out gig it was easy to get served. Being able to leave the venue to get the pint they didn't have in the small bar inside was a nice touch. Great experience all round.
